Hi, Tracy, good evening greetings to you, your precious Theresa and little Tang from Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious furkids doing well and in good spirits. I know it will be awhile yet before you're on your way homeward bound, and I hope your travels will be uneventful.
I hope the frustration with your newspaper will be taken care of, my friend. I have thought a few times about being a paper carrier, but I'm not dedicated to delivering newspapers in snow and icy weather. Hope this works out for you. I'll be interested in knowing how it goes - - if you'd like to share.
So glad little Tang's ear looked better last night. I hope his ear continues to do well with his clearnings, and will look forward to knowing what his doctor says on Caturday.
By the way, I don't remember - - how did your little boy do when you scooped his sister up and took her for her check up? Was he anxious? Was he relieved when she came back home? Was he relieved that it was his sister that was going and not him?
Got an e-mail today that the meeting with the new supervisor is scheduled for Monday morning. I'm not expecting anything good in it for me. I may be leaving the pit sooner than July. Most of the meeting is supposed to be reviewing all of the office workers' daily routines - - whatever that means. Time will tell soon enough.
I hope today is going okay for you, my friend. I am so very glad you have this new job which seems to be in a much better atmosphere for you. I hope you, your precious Theresa and little Tang will have a very peaceful, blissful, and cozy evening. I thank you for the blessing of your friendship, Tracy, and of your precious furkids. Please know each of you are in my thoughts and prayers, my friend, and that I always look forward to sharing your news and your treasured memories of your beloved Sir Thomas.
Peace and blessings,

So far so good on getting the paper. Tang's ear looks OK again tonight - in fact I used fewer swabs than usual to get the job done. Tang was pretty anxious when I returned from the vet with Theresa. He followed me everywhere. It was the first time he was left home alone. I think perhaps he thought we'd abondoned him, poor little guy. Tonight he once again tried to jump in my lap here at the computer only to realize he's too big to do that Theresa trick

I hope your meeting does not entail anything bad for you and you are not forced to leave before you are ready and on your own terms. We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers. Hope you and Noah are doing well. TTFN

Hi, Tracy, thank you so much for sharing your always welcome news on how you and your precious Theresa and little Tang are doing. Noah and I are sending you and your precious furkids our heartfelt greetings. I hope this finds each of you doing well and in good spirits.
I'm so glad your precious Tang's ear looked better last night, and hope it continues to do well, and that he will get a good report on Caturday. And I'm glad you're getting your newspaper delivered properly. Getting a newspaper delivered should not have to be a major production, but as the saying goes "it takes all kinds to make the world go round" and some folks just can't resist the opportunity to be a source of aggravation.
Thank you for your kind thoughts and prayers on behalf of my employment situation. They are truly greatly appreciated.
I hope your day is going well and that your travels home will be uneventful. The homecoming will be a joyous one with enthusiastic greetings from your precious Theresa and little Tang. I hope you and your precious furkids will have a very peaceful and blissful and cozy evening. I thank you for the blessing of your friendship, Tracy, and of your precious fur tribe. Please know each of you are in my thoughts and prayers, and that I always look forward to sharing your news and your treasured memories of your beloved Sir Thomas.

Hi Tracy....Hope this finds you and furbabies doing well. I hope your work week wasn't too bad.......The wind blew some more shingles off our house. The insurance adjuster checked it out today and said we would get a check in the mail to pay for a new roof. We will have a $1000. deductible though, according to our policy.
Blackie has been missing for almost a week. I hope he is okay. Tracy, give little Theresa and Tang a special pat for me and enjoy your evening.....God Bless..

Today was less hectic at work today. I suspect Wednesdays will be bad for a while as the IRS keeps pushing back the release dates of refunds (That is our weekly disbursement day) Was late getting home. Bus 15 minutes late. Wheel chairs, people with strollers and crying babies, and the usual collection of folks who don't read or listen and think that bus is going all the way out to the mall (sigh)
But I am home to Theresa and Tang and they are both well. One more day to go to Caturday. On the walk home I was struck with thoughts of Tom and how and when I believe our bond truly began. I will write about it in a separate thread when I have more time. But suffice it to say that is the day I was transformed from a pet owner to a pet parent. Hope you and Noah are both well. TTFN

Hi, Tracy, it is always a blessing logging in to share your and your precious Theresa's and little Tang's news. Noah and I send you and your precious furkids our heartfelt greetings. I hope this finds each of you doing well and in good spirits. Sorry your trip home yesterday was a challenge, and hope that your travels homeward this evening will be much improved. The good news it is Friday, and you will be spared this challenge for two days.
Like you when you get home to your precious Theresa and little Tang I am also so grateful to get home to my precious Noah, and I am so very grateful to be home with him for an entire weekend. Don't have any taxes to do this weekend but there are many projects for me to do - - if the spirit should so be moved. The best part will be enjoying every moment with my precious Noah.
I hope you, your precious Theresa and little Tang will have a very peaceful, blissful, and cozy evening, my friend. I'm keeping good thoughts for your little Tang's check up tomorrow and look forward to sharing your news. Hi, Tracy, just being able to stop by to say hello to you, your precious Theresa and little Tang. Noah and I send each of you our warmest greetings.
I hope yesterday's check up went okay with your little Tang's ear, and that the rest of your Caturday went well.
Yesterday was a busier day than I thought it would be getting caught up on chores that have been neglected because of working on tax stuff in addition to making sure the routine bills get paid on time. It never ceases to amaze me how time consuming financial stuff can be.
I hope by now you and your precious Theresa and little Tang are enjoying a lazy Sunday together perhaps snuggled around one another enjoying a Sunday nap. I thank you for the blessing of your friendship, Tracy, and of your precious Theresa and little Tang. Please know you and your precious fur tribe are in my thoughts and prayers, and that I always look forward to sharing your news and your treasured memories of your beloved Sir Thomas.

Thank you moon_beam. I hope thsi finds you and Noah well.
Well, Caturday did not go as planned. I called my cab friend around 9:30. As it was raining, I didn't want to wait outside and kept going to the outside entrance to see if he was coming (I already had Tang in the carrier) and saw him rounding the corner of the property. My cell rang, and I didn't even look at who was calling figuring it was him. It was a lady from the vet's giving me a head's up about policy change. All drop off pick times are no sooner that 5:00 PM - no exceptions. I was able to get her to tell me it was not the new vet who set that policy, but no more. I did the statement of cancelling my wellness plans an never returning, but it did not work as before. She tried to set an appointment for 3:30, but I was so angry, and not wanting to waste the day, that I declined and told her to forward my displeasure to said policy maker. There was sadness in her voice, for she is the one who introduced me to Tang, and was there for all the time I'd been bringing in Tom. After riding in the cab and talking to my friend, who offered to just come back at 3:30, I struck upon a compromise. Since Tang's ear was a lot better, but I still wanted it looked at in the near future, I called back and apologized to another lady about the first call and she put the other one back on the phone. I said if I make an appointment for next Saturday, can I have one in the morning and not be bound by the 5:00 pick up time? She stated a resounding YES, and sounded very relieved. So, the appointment is 9:00 AM next Caturday. So, from now on I will make an appointment. I usually know at least a few days ahead of time that I'm going to need to go anyway. Plus she said it was no problem boarding him while I did my errands.
Other than that, I was able to get all other errands completed, and was very frugal at Kroger as it's a rent pay week, and funds are tight. I hope that you are able to get your taxes, and bills squared away with a minimum of fuss. Pats for Noah - TTFN

Hi, Tracy, greetings to you, your precious Theresa and little Tang from Noah and me on this Monday evening. I hope this finds you and your precious fur tribe doing well and in good spirits. Hopefully you are home now with your precious furkids, and all is right with the world.
I am so sorry that Caturday was so upsetting for you and your little Tang. Were you able to get your furkids' wellness policies back in force too? You'd think that when there is such a major policy change that a formal letter would be sent informing the clients. I hope this works out for you and your precious furkids, Tracy. I'll be interested in knowing how things go.
I have not signed up for Netflix yet. I'm going to wait awhile before I do - - perhaps not until next year after I finally ditch the satellite service. I'm trying to conserve funds so that I can keep a monthly budget easier when I no longer have income from a job.
Today's meeting with the new supervisor confirmed that I am making the right decision in leaving the pit under my own conditions. Everything is eventually going to be "centralized" but no effort is being made to adequately provide office staff to do the jobs expected. If I had any doubt before this morning's meeting all doubts were resolved today. Hopefully come June I will make my final exit from the venomous snake pit, and as far as I know there will not be a "replacement" for the job I have been doing. If this holds true, this will be "justice."
I hope your day was a good one at work, and that you, your precious Theresa and little Tang will have a very peaceful, blissful, and cozy evening. I thank you for the blessing of your friendship, Tracy, and of your precious Theresa and little Tang. Please know you and your precious fur family are in my thoughts and prayers, and that I always look forward to sharing your news and your treasured memories of your beloved Sir Thomas.

Hope this finds you and Noah doing well. I did not actually cancel the wellness plans (they paid out the monthlies 01/27 and 02/05) so no problems there. I think this policy may be coming from so many of the drop offs ending up requiring surgery. In essence, people are treating it like an ER (which is across the street) So, since I know pretty much ahead of time when they will be going and for what, I will just make appointments from now on instead of dropping off. My only concern with that before was not having a place for them while I ran my errands, and I was assured that would not be a problem. This way, I'll get to interact more with the vet anyway.
I'm sorry things are such a mess for you at work, and hope you will be able to leave on your own schedule with no problems. I am home to my kids now which is always the best part of the day. They are pretty wound up as usual. Tang is head butting my legs for attention. I will let you know how he does with his appointment this coming Caturday. Peace and TTFN

Hi, Tracy, thank you so very much for your, your precious Theresa's and litte Tang's most welcome news. I am so very glad to now that their wellness plans are still in effect. I was wondering if the "walk in" policy had anything to do with the new policy. I think you will find having an appointment will help to make the visit go more smoothly - - unless of course there is an emergency. Then that really bumps everything out of kilter. I hope you will not be charged for your little Tang's or Theresa's boarding as you do your errands. I will be very interested in knowing how things go -- and I'm so hoping and praying that everything will go smoothly.
Thank you for your thoughtful support about my work situation. It's a mess for sure. Reminds me so much of my 17.5 years with the federal government. Don't miss working for the government - - and will NOT miss my current employer either when I walk out the door for the last time. I only have one more day there this week -- am taking Thursday and Friday off - - use or lose paid time off. I know I will have more time coming to me that I will need to take before I leave. The less time I am in the pit the next few months the happier I will be.
I hope today is being kind to you, your precious Theresa and little Tang. I know you are still at work, and I'm hoping your day is going well for you. The best part of the day will come when you walk through the door at home and receive a enthusiastic greeting from your precious furkids. I don't belive I will be charged for leaving either of them there for the time I need to run errands. They don't for drop offs, so I don't see why they would for an appointment. Besides, I should think the wellness plans would cover that. Enjoy your extra time off this week

you deserve it.

Adding my sincerest congratulations to LoveMyMickey's on your making top performers list last 2 weeks, and a couple of "good call monitoring" cards. And like LoveMyMickey I, too, hope somehow this job will turn into a permanent one for you, or that perhaps you will receive a recommendation for another job - - even better paying job - - with this employer as your current position draws to a close. As of yet, I do not have any info on how long the assignment will last (although being escalations, I'd wager longer than the other CSRs) I have not had any overtures to anything permanant either. Honestly, I try no to think about that too much as it would cause me to worry (sigh) Today was a record (120 calls total about a dozen escalated) It didn't help that we were having trouble with our automated check verification system.

Hi, Tracy, good evening greetings to you, your precious Theresa and little Tang from Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious furkids doing well and in good spirits. Sounds like yesterday was a very busy day for you, and hope that today went okay for you on the phones. It really doesn't help when the technology of equipment goes cafluey. Yesterday I tried to print out the envelopes to mail patient information to the physicians and patients. The printer did well printing the envelopes to the MDs but completely stopped when I tried to print the envelopes for the patients. I tried printing the mail addresses on labels, but the printer wouldn't feed the label sheet. So 45 minutes before it was time for me to leave I had to call in a repair for the printer which I knew would not be fixed before it was time for me to leave, so I ended up having to type the envelopes "the old fashioned way" on the spare typewriter we keep in the office for emergencies. I know the repair will require the need to replace the roller that feeds the envelopes and labels into the machine. I'm hoping everything will be fixed when I get back into the office on Monday. I am so looking forward to the time when I do not have to be concerned with this stuff. Just 4 or 5 more months.
Today has been a good one here at the homestead. Noah and I got up around 10 am and after I got some light chores done I got another brew of home made soup a going in the crock pot. The basement living quarters is now filled with a delicious aroma. It has about 3 more hours to go before I can turn off the pot and let it cool before putting it in the fridge. I let it steep for about a day before I begin to chow down.
I hope your day was a good one for you at work, that your travels home were uneventful, and that you, your precious Theresa and little Tang are enjoying a peaceful, blissful, and cozy evening. I thank you for the blessing of your friendship, Tracy, and of your precious Theresa and little Tang. Today at work was much less busy and agravating. Today instead of just top performer I actually got a CSR of the week certificate. To my knowledge, one must not only have perfect attentance and adherance, but 100% call monitoring. Go figure. I guess now I know what it feels like to fail upward. I got a message on my cell from the lady at the vet that the new regular vet won't be there Saturday, but the one who will be there she likes. I guess I will just have to trust her on that. She is the one that introduced us to Tang. Home now to the kids and one more day of work before Caturday. Pats for Noah TTFN

Hi, Tracy, greetings to you, your precious Theresa and little Tang from Noah and me. I hope this finds each of you doing well and in good spirits. Congratulations on your top performer and CSR of the week certificate. I prayed this job would be more positive for you, my friend, and I am so very glad these prayers are being answered. You so deserve this recognition, Tracy. Congratulations again.
Do you know the vet who will be seeing your little Tang tomorrow? I will be interested in knowing how things go, my friend.
Today I did some vacuuming and dusting here in the basement living quarters. Instead of running upstairs to escape the commotion Noah settled down on the bed and kept me company. After about 3 hours he told me it was time for me to stop and take a rest. And he was right. So I took a shower, washed my hair, and got my little boy his lunch and fixed myself some lunch as well. He is now taking a nap on his lambs wool cushion at the foot of the bed as I'm writing to you. It's amazing how much better things look when vacuumed and dusted.

I hope this finds you and Noah doing well. No, I dod not know the vet from the name the lady gave me. But she said she liked him and she's the one who hooked Tang and I up. So, I can only assume she wants what's best for him. At least with an appointment I will have the opportunity to meet him and ask questions. I think Tang will appreciate me being there during the exam too.
Sounds like you got quite a bit done today. When I even bring out the vacuum (which I do every other night) mine both run for the hills. Tang has informed me Tom told him it's the "Big Red Tang Eater"

Work was OK but we are really having problems with the dept. that does the work/research for stop payments, ACH inquiry, reissues, etc. The web site is even hiring FT for that area and I posted and can't even get a response. I have 7 years experience doing that sort of work too. I could certainly do better than those bozos; but maybe that's WHY I can't get the job (sigh) I will let you know how it goes at the vet. The trip to the vet left us with some conflicting info. This fill in vet was OK, but was clearly not comfortable handling Tang and kept refering to him as "the cat" It also didn't help that the nurse I spoke with asked if I was his "owner" These are not good signs. The vet did seem to know what he was talking about and gave good tips for at home cleaning and treatment. He showed me that the pollup forming was right in the middle of the ear c&%^ and that I needed to get the drops and cleaner down closer to that rather than just up at the top where the gunk settles. He recommended surgery going forward at "better equipped" facilities (which I cannot afford) with the next best solution being to have it done there at the office. In the mean time, he cleaned and flushed it out really good, took a swab for sampling for testing and gave him some kind of steroid shot that hopefully will shrink the pollup some allowing air into the c&%^ cutting down on infection. All totaled about 64.00. After paying bills (the biggest one due no later than the 14th per arrangement; 3 days before I get paid again) I'll have less than 50.00 to my name begore getting paid. And that only if I don't pay my minimum CC and power bill (which is only 27.00 so no danger of cut off this cycle) until I get paid next Friday. Leaving, I did get to speak with the nurse who hooked Tang and I up. She was equally dismayed at the lingo being used in regard to Tang, but said that this vet was new, which I assume means just out of vet school. So, I guess a certain amount of clinical detatchment is to be expected until he learns a better bedside manner. I suppose even Dr. Mills was like that once (sigh) She seemed to know what I was thinking when I mentioned looking into surgery at the office after giving the shot time to do some good in that she asked if I would prefer Dr. Mills perform it, so which I said a resounding YES.
So, with Tang doing at least clinically better, and my purse strings threadbare we have been home since about 11:00. I bought enough groceries to get by this week for lunches and meals at home; and hopefully no other bills coming due until after I get paid again, the 49.00 in my account will suffice I hope. We will just have to wait and see

Hi, Tracy, thank you so very much for sharing your, your precious Theresa's and little Tang's news. I can feel your dismay about your and your little Tang's visit today with the new vet. I am so sorry that Dr. Mills has been relocated to a facility that is not convenient for you. How was the vet in handling Tang - - was he gentle, rough, compassionate, aloof to Tang's reactions, etc.? I do hope and pray that Dr. Mills will be able to do the surgery for little Tang whenever it happens. I'm so sorry that the polyp has not resolved on its own. I know you and your little Tang were ever so glad to get back home.
I'm so sorry that funds will be very tight for you until next pay day. I have been there quite a few times and I know how disconerting it is. I am keeping you and your precious furkids in my thoughts and prayers that you will be okay this week and that pay day will be here for you before you know it.

It's hard to say how the vet handled Tang. I was waiting in the exam room and he came to the door holding the carrier in one hand and Tang in the other. He was holding Tang by his chest and front legs like he clearly didn't know how to hold a cat. The vet just looked sheepish saying Tang didn't want back in the carrier. Tang was looking stressed, but calmed down when I took him from the vet and set him on the exam table and started caressing his head and neck. Like I said, the vet seemed to know what he was talking about, but no real compassion and bedside manner. Hopefully he will learn. Hopefully the injection will help shrink the tissue as expected. Since they did such a good job cleaning his ear, I suppose I can skip it tonight in the interest of keeping his stress low. Hoping you and Noah are doing well. TTFN

Tang is doing much better now that we are home. It would not have been so bad spending so much if we'd gotten the kind of caring atmosphere we're used too. It certainly didn't help when the nurse left the room saying "He went for it, get the shot ready" nor the vet dropping the syringe on the floor when he was done (sigh) Time will tell. Yes, Phil seeing his shadow seems to mean we will get some winter after all. It's been a pretty uneventful day here. Theresa and Tang are both well and we have had plenty of cuddle time on the sofa - sometimes with one and sometimes both. Tomorrow begins another week (sigh) Hope you both well - pats for Noah and Blackie - TTFN

Hi, Tracy, greetings to you, your precious Theresa and little Tang from Noah and me on this Monday evening. I hope this finds you and your precious furkids doing well and in good spirits. I know you are still at work as I'm writing to you, but it won't be too much longer before you are homeward bound to the enthusastic greeting of your precious furkids.
Yesterday evening I discovered that part of the enamel to one of my molars on the right side of my mouth has broken away exposing the 40 plus year old filling. It isn't painful - - just a little tender. I called the dentist and have an appointment tomorrow after work. Hope she can at least do a temporary fix. I don't handle pain well at all anymore. I am very grateful that I'm being able to be seen so quickly.
Today was easier than I thought it would be - - than it usually is after I take a day or two off. I am so looking forward to the time when I can walk out of that place of the very last time. I just need to stay focused on getting through one day at a time there. It comforts me a great deal that you are in a much better place now, my friend. I hope somehow that you will be able to continue there at the bank - - or that Todays will be able to find you an even better placement when your contract is up with your current employer. I know this must be weighing on your mind, and I hope and pray that the transition to another position - - or perhaps staying in your current position for an extended assignment - - will go smoothly.
I hope you, your precious Theresa and little Tang will have a very peaceful, blissful, and cozy evening, my friend. I thank you for hte blessing of your friendship, and of your precious fur tribe. Please know you and your precious furkids are in my thoughts and prayers, Tracy, and that I always look forward to sharing your news and your treasured memories of your beloved Sir Thomas.

I am so sorry to hear about your tooth, I know it must be very uncomfortable. I'm glad your dentist will be able to see you in a timely manner. I hope it feels better soon. I know you are so looking forward to getting out of that place and hope you can soon and on your terms.
It's starting to slow down at work. I heard some chatter of people saying this is their last week. We have recieved no such notice in our area. But this coming Saturday is the last for the season (I do not have to work it) and I think the end of being open until 10:00 soon. In escalations we were 2 people short today, but since we weren't too busy it was not too bad. I saw that the exceptions processing job in the dept. is still open, so I posted on it again. I can hardley do worse then some of the people I've spoken to over there trying to resolve research for escalated calls. But perhaps my competence is my problem (sigh) Recently Today's merged with Randstad (the company that got me on at NPC and Chase) so I'm hoping that's good news in terms of available jobs. I appreciate your thoughts and prayers.
I'm home now to Theresa and Tang whom both seem happy to see their dad. I hope you and Noah are well and keeping warm. TTFN

Hi, Tracy, sending greetings to you, your precious Theresa and little Tang from Noah and me on this Tuesday evening. I hope this finds each of you doing well and in good spirits.
Thank you for your kind words about my tooth. The dentist took an x-ray and found many more cracks, so it is going to be an expensive fix. Since I changed dental insurance providers, the office staff will get a pre-auth to see what they will pay. However, I told them to go ahead and schedule the appointment for next Wednesday after work - - which is perfect because I am taking next Thursday and Friday off for another long weekend. If the insurance company comes through at this point - - there is a waiting period for some procedures - - fine. If not then I'll just credit card the services and pay it off like any other expense. I don't want the tooth or gum to become infected. The office staff mentioned something like "weeks" before having the work done with the insurance company involved and I said "no" to that. The total cost would be around $1200 if the insurance company denies any assistance at this time. Oh well - - it's only money, right?
Tracy, I hope things go well for you whatever happens with your current job. If for some reason you find yourself needing alternative employment it sounds like Todays is a good agent on your behalf, and this is a big help. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that your good fortune will continue - - either with your current employer or with a new assignment. I will look forward to knowing how things go for you.
I hope today is being kind to you, your precious Theresa and little Tang, and that you and your precious furkids will have a very peaceful, blissful, and cozy evening. I thank you for the blessing of your friendship, Tracy, and of your precious fur tribe. Please know each of you are in my thoughts and prayers, and that I always look forward to sharing your news and your treasured memories of your beloved Sir Thomas.

I do hope your insurance pays your claim. The most important thing is to get that tooth fixed though. At work I heard that for 30 people this is their final week. And today they were looking for day shift people that wanted to leave early. Once again I had to butt heads with exception processing. Seems the preparer did her job in sending the direct deposit research form to turn the payment into a check since she the knew the acct number for the customer was wrong. She did this a full week before we got the funds from the IRS, and guess what? We STILL tried to DD to the bad acct! I just know I could really help straighten things up back there, and that's probably why I'll never get that job (sigh)
I am home to my fur tribe and that is always good. Tang's ear is doing OK. Since that last cleaning/shot at the vet, it's getting easier to clean and looks better than it used to after I'm done. I hope this finds you and Noah doing weel. TTFN

Hi, Tracy, good evening greetings to you, your precious Theresa and little Tang from Noah and me on this Wednesday evening. I hope this finds each of you doing well and in good spirits. I hope you are home by now with your precious furkids - - or will be very soon, and that your travels home will be / have been uneventful.
So glad to know that your little Tang's ear is looking better. I hope the surgery can be postponed for a long time, my friend. But I know come what may he has the best Forever Dad in the whole wide world.
I looked over my new policy and as expected what needs to be done falls into the "6 month waiting period" category. Sigh. Oh well. It will be a great medical expense write off for next year's taxes.
Employers - - even the better ones - - can be so narrow-sighted when it comes to allowing its employees to use their acquired skills and talents. They all have a "pecking order" of who does what, when, how, where, etc.. Hang in there, Tracy. If your current employer fails to enable you to use your skills and talents then I know Todays will be able to find you another spot where you may have a better opportunity. Hang in there, my friend. Just remember it ain't over until it's over.
Three days down two more to go this week. Stopped by Wal Mart on my way into work this morning to pick up some non-perishable items to re-stock the cupboard, and then stopped off at Kroger on my way home to pick up the perishable items. So glad i have that done. Won't need to do that next week which was my goal since this time next week I may be nursing a sore jaw, and didn't want to have to go out on Thursday and Friday next week when I'll just want to be home with my precious Noah.
And speaking of my little boy, it is time for me to get him his dinner, so I best be getting this off to you. I hope you, your precious Theresa and little Tang will have a very peaceful, blissful, and cozy evening, my friend. I thank you for the blessing of your friendship, and of your precious furkids. Please know you, your precious Theresa and little Tang are in my thoughts and prayers, and that I always look forward to sharing your news and your treasured memories of your beloved Sir Thomas.

Here's hoping you get that tooth taken care of with a minimum if fuss. Yeah, you don't have to tell me about the pecking order. It seems like they put incompetent/lazy people into those jobs because whom ever runs those areas always think that good workers are after their job. I wish they'd see nothing could be further from the truth in my case. Oh well. We got the schedule for next week and I'm still on it, so that's good. Who knows, I could end up surprised. I wasn't expecting to get picked for escalations either.
I'm glad you got your running done and are home to your precious Noah. I'm home to Theresa and Tang as well. Always the best part of the day. Two more days to go to Caturday. No vet visits, just Kroger and the bank. Hope this finds you and Noah doing well, TTFN

Hi, Tracy, Noah and I are sending you, your precious Theresa and little Tang our warmest greetings, and hope this finds you and your precious furkids doing well and in good spirits. It is always a treat logging in to get caught up on your news.
Congratulations on being on the schedule for next week. This is good news. Sure wish you could get some kind of commitment from HR letting you know that either your temporary assigment has been extended and for how long, or that you are / will be a permanent employee. I know this would take a lot of uncertainty off your mind. You are in my thoughts and prayers, my friend.
Nothing exciting going on here this evening. The blessing is being home with my precious Noah. Soon it will be time to get hime his diinner. I just take each day as it comes and hope for the best. I was told going in it was for 3 months. I just keep hoping and praying it will all work out. One more day to go to Caturday!
I wanted to share something cute Tang did last night. I had paused my DVD and was coming back from getting something from the kitchen. I sat down in my chair and looked over at Tang laying on the floor, paws crossed over each other (what I call his perfect gentleman pose) My TV was on one of my digital music chanels and a song came on I like. I staring singing along and putting "Tang" into the lyrics. Just as I did that, I looked over and he appeared to be lifting one paw up in uncertaintly as he sometimes does. As I continued to sing I looked closer and realized he was keeping perfect time/rhythm with the music like a contuctor. I stopped and he looked at me like "Why did you stop singing dad?" It was uber cute. I hope this finds you and Noah doing well. TTFN

Hi Tracy...Happy Caturday to you and your precious furbabies, Theresa and Tang. I hope you all are doing well and that your Caturday errands went well......I did my Krogering yesterday, had to really stock up for the animals and birds as well as for us. I turned in $30.00 worth of coupons.
Blackie comes and goes. He ate breakfast here this morning, played around for awhile and then left. In the evening, sometimes he will step inside the storm door and then turn around and wants back out. I guess that's progress.
So Mr. Tang is a music conductor now. Soooo cute!........Give the furbabies a special pat for me and have a pleasant and cozy rest of the weekend..................I hope that snow stays away, I don't think they are sure just who will get the most in the neighboring states.....TTFN

Hi, Tracy, greetings to you, your precious Theresa and little Tang from Noah and me on this Caturday evening. I hope this finds each of you doing well and in good spirits. It is always a blessing logging in to get caught up on your news.
WOW!!! 100 calls - - bet you felt like your ears - - and brain - - were turning to mush by the time you were done yesterday. I hope your errands today went smoothly.
Just got a weather bug alert for snow in the region beginning tomorrow. I'm hoping it's limited to the I-81 corridor and ski resorts and leaves us alone in the lower elevations. The current forecast is only for 1 to 3 inches for accumulation, and if this holds true then that should be okay. The storm may last through tomorrow night into early Monday morning. Not too keen on that, but as long as it's only inches of snow I can handle that.
Noah is doing well. He is curled up next to me taking a nap as I'm writing to you. I hope you, your precious Theresa and little Tang will have a very peaceful, blissful, and cozy evening. Thank you for the blessing of your friendship, Tracy, and of your precious furkids. Thank you LoveMyMickey. Sounds like you got a lot done. It's so nice that you try to help out the birds and animals that live around you, especially Blackie. Keep trying, you'll win him over eventually. Hope you are well.
Thank you moon_beam. We are supposed to get a wintery mix around these parts tonight as well. Not supposed to be any real accumulation in the city though. We'll see. I hope you and Noah are doing well.
Nothing special to report here. We came way too close to running out of cat food as I misjudged how much I really had last week - and with that 65.00 vet bill and all. But just before going to the store this morning I was able to scrape about a cup out of the bag to tide them over. I promised them that would never happen again. Even if it means stocking up when I may not need it but have the extra money. Also am battling a nasty head/chest cold; hope the OTC meds I picked up help. The kids are always trying to be supportive. Peace and TTFN

Hi, Tracy, good morning greetings to you, your precious Theresa and little Tang from Noah and me. It is always a blessing logging on to share your news. I hope tihs finds you and your precious furkids doing well - - and you feeling better.
We are having some steady snow as I'm writing to you but nothing appears to be sticking at this time. Since we have had warmer temperatures, particularly yesterday, I'm hoping this will help to keep any form of accumulation to a minimum.
So glad you realized how low on food you were for your furkids so that you could restock their larder. If it's any consolation to you I have found myself in a similar situation a time or two.

Hi Tracy...I hope you, Tang, and Theresa had a good Sunday. We didn't get that rain or snow.......Like you we had almost run out of cat food before I went to the store.....We had a different animal yesterday. Two pea##s strutted across our front yard close to the front door. I got their picture. I don't know where they came from, but we do have a game farm for visitors not too far from here. Anyway they went on down the street walking in the yards.
Little Blackie eats out of my hand now when I offer small bites of sandwich ham. He hasn't hissed for a long time and now purrs all the time. He nearly knocks us down before we get out the door from his rubbing on the door and on us.
Tracy, I hope the work week treats you well, and have a pleasant and cozy evening with the furbabies.......God Bless...

Thank you moon_beam, LoveMyMickey - Glad to hear Blackie is doing well and still coming around. Awesome about the birds.
Today was pretty low key here. Feeling a little depressed, but I just read where that may be lack of sleep. Guess I'll have to try to get more. Theresa and Tang are both doing well. Theresa kept trying to lay on me but kept getting too high up on my chest and making it hard for me to breath. Tang came along later to do the same, but his weight is more evenly distributed and he does not get so high up. Still, Thersesa looked hurt when she saw that (sigh) and crawled back into the carrier. I guess I'll turn on the space heater in the bedroom which ought to draw her out as usual. Peace and TTFN

Hi, Tracy, melting greetings to you, your precious Theresa and little Tang from Noah and me on this post-snow storm Monday evening. I hope this finds each of you doing well and in good spirits. I know you're still at work as I'm writing to you, but know you will soon be homeward bound to your precious furkids. I hope your travels will be uneventful.
I know you gave your precious Theresa extra cuddles last night to let her know she is always and forever your precious little girl. She knows you love her.
Yesterday we got a bona fide snow event here - - about 5 inches when the last flake hit the ground. Fortunately the temperatures were warm Saturday so this morning I only needed to shovel a little bit at the garage so that the snow would not be dragged by the undercarriage of the car coming out of the garage. There were no ice dams at the end of the driveway at the street from the plows, so that was a REAL blessing. My top speed this morning was about 40 mph and that was about 2 miles from Rocky Mount. Normal speed is 55 mph, and it's 16 miles into Rocky Mount from my driveway. It took me about 50 minutes to drive into work today. Normally it's only 30 minutes. After work I drove into town to get gas in the car and stop by the vet's office to pick up more food for Noah. He has maybe 2 weeks left of his dry food but I didn't want to take any chances of not being able to / not needing to make the trip into town next week. It's nice to be home with my precious Noah.
I hope today is treating you, your precious Theresa and little Tang kindly, and that you and your precious furkids will have a very peaceful, blissful, and cozy evening. Thank you for the blessing of your friendship, Tracy, and of your precious furkids. Please know you, your precious Theresa and little Tang are in my thoughts and prayers, and always look forward to sharing your news and your treasured memories of your beloved Sir Thomas.

Thank you xxForeverxx I'm sure Tom has made Chewy feel right at home at the bridge, and both are watching over us. Thank you moon_beam - sounds like you got the snow that missed us. Glad you kept safe and got your running done.
Theresa did, indeed "get over it" once I turned on the space heater in the bedroom and laid out one of my t-shirts in front of it for her to lay on. Both she and Tang are full of energy tonight. Both are also sneezing, which I suspect is linked to the fact I found the bathroom and kitchen lower cabinets open as well as the swinging door to the furnace closet when I got home tonight (sigh) I keep telling them there is nothing but dust in there to make them sneeze. Especially the furnace closet. But, that was always Tom's favored haunt (no pun intended) since he swore up and down we had "closet monsters" in there. Perhaps he paid the kids a visit today?
Today they consolodated people into a smaller area at work, so I guess the clock is ticking. Just have to keep praying something good comes of it all. Well, that's all for now. Peace and TTFN to all.

Hi, Tracy, good evening greetings to you, your precious Theresa and little Tang from Noah and me. I hope this finds each of you doing well and in good spirits. I am so chuckling about coming home and finding the evidence of "mischief" while daddy's at work. This definitely is an "uh oh" moment with the kids looking at you, "what, you didn't want the cabinet doors and furnace door open? And just what makes you think WE did that anyway!!!???" It could very well be that your beloved Sir Thomas came to visit them yesterday - - as it sounds like most everything had his pawprints all over the "evidence".
Noah likes to get up on the kitchen counter where I keep my large water cup and drink the water out of my cup - - as opposed to drinking the fresh water out of his fresh bowl. Usually when I get home i find my cup on the floor - - undeniable evidence of kitty mischief. The most important thing is that the mischief your precious Theresa and little Tang gets into is not dangerous to them, as with my precious Noah.
More melting continued today but it was actually more chilly today than yesterday. This time tomorrow I hope to be home from the dentist with a fixed tooth pain free. I have been working on finances since I've been home trying to get bills set up to pay when they're due, and getting checks written to mail on Monday after work so that I won't have to do that if I'm not feeling up to it from tomorrow's overhaul on my tooth.
It is so good to be home with my precious Noah, as I know you are very happy to be home with your precious Theresa and little Tang. I hope you and your precious furkids will have a very peaceful, blissful, and cozy evening. I thank you for the blessing of your friendship, Tracy, and of your precious furkids. Hi, Tracy, good evening greetings to you, your precious Theresa and little Tang from Noah and me. I hope this finds each of you doing well and in good spirits. I know you're still at work, but I know you're looking at the clock and saying, "not too much longer - - I'll be heading home to my precious furkids."
You know Murphy's Law - - "if anything can go wrong it will"? Well, that is what happened with my dentist appointment today. The appointment was made for today, 2/22. The reminder card I got when the appointment was made say 2/22. I showed up for the appointment only to be informed their computer says the appointment is for tomorrow 2/23. So, I have another evening to get through with this snaggle tooth. I have put the card in my wallet to take with me tomorrow to show the receptionist that I was not blowing smoke - - that I did not show up on the "wrong day." There was a lot of confusion and frustration going on at the time when the appointment was made last week. Oh well - - tomorrow it will be "play it again, sam".
It's good to be home with my precious Noah, as I know you are looking forward to being home with your precious Theresa and little Tang for the evening. I hope you and your precious furkids will have a very peaceful, blissful, and cozy evening, my friend.
