Hi Tracy...Stopping by to wish you and furbabies a "Happy Caturday". I know you enjoyed your extra hour at home last evening. I hope little Tang's ear keeps improving. If Tang ever needs the surgery, I would try to get the experienced vet. Mickey had a bad experience with a new young vet when he got that anemia. He almost bled to death before he got the right meds from a different vet. Our old vet. had retired and this new one took her place. This is just my opinion.
Still haven't seen little Blackie. I peeped through the blinds late last night and saw a pretty dark gray and white cat eating some dry food. He looked up at me but kept on eating. We have the bowls between the front of the car and the wall by the door, so it is a cozy spot.
Tracy, I hope you and furbabies have a pleasant weekend and stay warm.....God Bless...Always thinking Angel Sir Tom too...

Hi, Tracy, adding my and Noah's good Caturday greetings to LoveMyMickey's to you, your precious Theresa and little Tang. I hope this finds each of you doing well and in good spirits.
I'm so very glad for your raise - - your continued good fortune with this new job. Does this mean that you are now a permanent employee - - or now a well paid temporary? Have you heard anything to your applications to those other jobs you applied for?
I hope little Tang's ear is doing okay today - - that you did not have to venture forth into the cold winter air for errands or to take him to the vet.
Noah is doing well today. He is beginning his "dinner dance" and "serenade" letting me know that it's getting close for him to have his dinner. He's keeping me company on the computer desk as I'm writing to you at the moment. I hope you, your precious Theresa and little Tang will have a very peaceful and blissful evening, my friend. I thank you for the blessing of your friendship, Tracy, and of your precious Theresa and little Tang. Please know you and your precious fur tribe are in my thoughts and prayers, and that I always look forward to sharing your news and your treasured memories of your beloved Sir Thomas.

No, the fact I got a raise does not mean permanent. I heard back from one of the jobs I posted on a little while back in the form of a rejection. Even though I did not have to go to vet, I still had to venture out for groceries and quarters. Both Theresa and Tang are doing well. I don't really have much to post tonight, so I will wish you both peace and hope you are keeping warm. TTFN

Hi, Tracy, sending you, your precious Theresa and little Tang warmest greetings from Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious furkids doing well and in good spirits. I hope your laundry time went smoothly this morning. I admire your dedicated routine of doing it so very early in the morning.
That is somewhat of a bummer getting a "promotion" but not a permanent position to go with it. Still, this job is ever so much better - - or so it sounds from what you share with us - - than your previous employer. Perhaps the reason you were not considered for the other position(s) is because you are still a very "new" employee. I do understand your concern for the long-term, and I am continuing to keep you in my thoughts and prayers that you will acquire a permanent position either with this employer or with the assistance of Todays.
The sun has come out now and the temperature on the weather bug is reading 40 degrees, but there is a breeze outside and I know it feels much colder. Earlier this morning we had clouds overhead and once in awhile there was a white flake dancing in the wind as it made its way to the ground. The good news is that it was just the odd flake being blown in on the wind - - it didn't bring any "friends" or "family" along with it - - just a reminder that it is still January.
Noah is taking a nap next to me as I'm writing to you, and I hope you and your precious Theresa and little Tang are enjoying this catSunday snuggled together. I thank you for the blessing of your friendship, Tracy, and of your precious Theresa and little Tang. Please know you and your precious fur tribe are in my thoughts and prayers, and that I always look forward to sharing your news and your treasured memories of your beloved Sir Thomas.

At least I am working for now and that's good. We got to 36 here today and the sun is shining. Fate has decided to give me pain in my left hand since Friday afternoon that has gotten worse. Feels like gout and I'm out of pain med for that

I do not know if my Dr. will RX we more w/o an appt and being that I am new on the job, I don't know if I can get any time off for it. We will see. It seems like when ever something good happens in my life it's always balanced out by something bad. Theresa and Tang are well at least. Hope this finds you and Noah doing well. TTFN

Hi, Tracy, I am so sorry your hand is so painful. I hope you will be able to call your doctor tomorrow - - if you need to - - and that she will be able to prescribe a renewal prescription for you without the necessity for an appointment. If push comes to shove, is there an "emergent care" you could go to? I, too, am familiar with the scenario of "no good deed goes unpunished." I am so very sorry you are having this health episode to contend with, my friend.
It's getting time to do some light evening chores and then get my Noah his dinner. I hope you, your precious Theresa and little Tang will have a peaceful and comfortable evening, my friend. Hi, Tracy, sending warm evening greetings to you, your precious Theresa and little Tang from Noah and me. I hope this finds each of you doing well - - hopefully better - - and in good spirits.
Not much news to share. The best part of the day is now being home with my precious Noah. Soon you will be leaving your work station heading for the bus that will bring you home to the eager greeting of your precious Theresa and little Tang.
I do hope you are feeling better, Tracy, and - - if needed - - that you have been able to speak with your doctor's office to get a prescription for the pain. I hope you and your precious furkids will have a very peaceful, blissful, and cozy warm evening. Please know you and your precious fur tribe are in my thoughts and prayers, and that I always look forward to sharing your news and your treaasured memories of your beloved Sir Thomas.

I did get hold of my doctor's office and was able to get a RX for the endomehacin. After work, I took the regular 18 bus to get to Walgreens and there was no line! Plus it being the holiday the buses were right on time, so I was able to catch the one I wanted when I was done getting my RX
I am home to Theresa and Tang and they are romping about. I expect Theresa to run out of steam here soon. It's hard to believe she's almost 10 years old. We had about 2 1/2 hours of training for escalated calls today. Let's hope I do well with the real thing starting tomorrow.
Not much news here either otherwise. Hoping you and Noah are well and keeping warm. TTFN

Hi, Tracy, good evening greetings to you, your precious Theresa and little Tang from Noah and me. I hope this finds each of you doing well and in good spirits. It is always a blessing logging in to get caught up on your news. I'm very glad you were able to get a new prescription for your meds, and hope you are beginning to feel some relief today. And I'm glad the bus connections were right on time for you yesterday, and hope you will have continued good fortune this week with your travels.
Hope your day is going well with the calls. It is normal to be a bit nervous the first day of a new assignment but I have every confidence that you will be just fine once you settle into a routine and get your confidence up. I am looking forward to knowing how things go for you.
The best part of the day of course is being home with my precious Noah, as I know it is for you and your precious Theresa and little Tang. I know how you feel about wondering where the years have gone with your precious Theresa approaching her 10th birthday. I have always wondered how the years go by so quickly when I look at my precious furkids - - and see the years reflected in their eyes - - and their bodies. I know how each moment you have with your precious furkids is precious to you, Tracy - -as it is precious to them being with you.

Hi Tracy...I hope you and furbabies stayed safe today. I saw on the news where parts of Louisville got hit pretty hard with a tornado. I turned on the TV this afternoon just in time to see we were under a warning. We went to the basement. The storm went through quickly, no damage in our neighborhood, but there was some damage in the county........It's too early for this kind of weather, now it will turn cold tonight.
Tracy, I hope everything at work is going well and also I hope you're getting some relief from your pain.....Pet the precious furbabies for me......God Bless..

We did indeed have a tornado warning today. The call center manager was telling all the team leads on the radios to tell everyone to log off the phones and get to the stair wells. This was from 11:00-11:30 - I made my way to first floor to use the restroom as it was time for my first break anyway. I took 26 calls today of which only 1 was actually tranfered to the escalation queue. But it didn't count because it was a tax preparer with a complicated issue who had already been talking to the other Tracey (female) so I tranfered it (sigh) An interesting fact I found out about her the other day. Her last name being Frakes, I was curious if she was related to Johnathan Frakes of Star Trek TNG (Commander Riker) when low and behold she was showing us pictures of her in the holodeck scene from the movie First Contact. Second cousin it turns out. Color this fan boy impressed.
We went from all that nasty warm weather tornado stuff to really cold. But I am home now with the babies. Tang's ear has a little more yellow gunk than is generally normal. But I will wait to see if that persists for more than a couple days before taking him to the vet as it tends to come and go. Other than that, just another normal day. Well, as normal as it ever gets for us. Peace and TTFN.

Hi, Tracy, stopping by to say hello from Noah and me to you, your precious Theresa and little Tang. So oo o cool about working with Jonathan Frakes second cousin. I KNEW this job would be so much better for you than staying in the pit hole of your previous employer. I am SO HAPPY that you have this "extra" good thing to cheer you.
I hope you are feeling better today - - that the meds are helping to relieve the pain. And I hope your little Tang's ear is looking better tonight - - the "gunk" in his ear may also reflect weather changes. Yes, our furkids' bodies also react to the changes in the weather. And since his ear already has a chronic condition it may be more susceptible.
I have been studying ways to come into the 21st century technology wise for TV viewing. Today I bought a Roku unit to connect to my TV for Netflix streaming and other program providers. I needed to do this as the rates for my current satellite package went up to a price I cannot afford on a monthly basis. I hope I can get this thing connected and up and running by the weekend because I am SO LOOKING FORWARD to calling my satellite provider and cutting back my service to just the basic so that I can still get my local channels. Got any suggestions to help this old technology challenged lady not blow up her 3 year old TV?
I hope life is treating you, your precious Theresa and little Tang kindly, and that you and your furkids will have a very peaceful, blissful, and cozy warm evening. Work was a little busier today - 30 calls total 5 for escalation queue. The usual why didn't I get approved for the refund anticipation loan, or why hasn't the IRS acknowledged yet, etc. I'm not familiar with a Roku unit, but I imagine it probably is no more difficult to hook up than a vcr/DVD player or game console. You may find some tips on the Netflix web site since it's compatible with their streaming. I don't have the money for that or I'd do it. But I know I enjoy my TV shows on DVD, so I think you will like it.
Tang's ear does indeed look a bit better tonight (he's head butting, snoozling, and giving me kisses as I write this - no doubt for my attrntion) I had not thought about the crazy weather being a factor. I know it messes with my sinuses, so who knows? Theresa was hiding in the closet in the bedroom again (sigh) but came out like a shot when I turned the space heater on

I keep telling her if she sits any closer to it the rest of her fur will be as black as the patch on her head. But she just looks at me like I'm nuts. Hope this finds you and Noah doing well. TTFN

Hi, Tracy, stopping by to say hello to you, your precious Theresa and little Tang from Noah and me. It is always a blessing to share your and your precious furkids' news.
So glad your little Tang's ear is looking better. I know what you mean about your precious Theresa getting up close to the space heater. My Noah does the same thing. I do keep a close eye on him when he does that because sometimes he tries to put his paws through the grill. Our furkids do keep us on our toes.
Another chilly day here in Virginia. Only 9 more weeks until the calendar says it's spring - - can hardly wait. Me bones really don't take kindly to the winter chill. The good news is that we haven't had any frozen weather in my neighborhood so far, and for this I am very grateful.

Fortunately the heater in the bedroom is stuck on low heat/fan and there is no place for her to stick her paws inside - but I have noticed it knocked over from time to time, so yeah got to keep an eye on it. Most nights I will put a shirt down for her to lay on; she seems to like that. Tang's ear looked not too bad tonight. Not much yellow just some dried up crud to get out. Work today was OK. Getting more and more calls as the season gets going. Weather here has not been too bad for January (the tornados the other day not withstanding) not too cold really. Hope this finds you and Noah well and keeping warm. Let me know how that streaming video hook up with Netflix goes. Peace and TTFN

Hi, Tracy, greetings to you, your precious Theresa and little Tang from Noah and me. I hope this finds each of you doing well and in good spirits this Friday evening. It is always a blessing logging in to share your news.
After a bit of "technical difficulties" - - I am technology challenged - - the tech rep at Roku solved the puzzle by telling me that I needed to use the original remote that came with the TV - - not the satellite remote. So - - after hunting for awhile I finally found it and - - voila!! the Roku unit is up and running. I have my Hulu Plus account set up, and will use the free month Netflix trial to decide about Netflix. I'm also contemplating re-instating my Amazon Prime account, but we'll see. I am inaugurating the Roku by watching the Duncan Regher version of the Zorro series. I am a happy camper!!!
I hope today was a good one for you at work. I know you are home now with your precious furkids. Hope this finds you doing well. Even though I was off today the kids are up and about doing ther evening routine - playing, litter box, eating. just like they do not long after this time when I get home. Funny how their clocks adjust to my schedule yet also stay the same. I let them out on the balcony for a rare Janusary treat since it was sunny and 45.
I took advantage of having a weekday off today. I slept in til about 9:30. Hopped the "close" bus I normally take to work to the little shopping center close to me. Went to the bank for laundry quarters (normally done on Saturday) went down a few doors to the used book store and picked up 3 ST novels for 1.00 per, then went and had lunch at the Chinese buffet I had not been to in at least 3 years, since they changed the name (rare treat for myself) It was about the same though. No better or worse. I hit the Save-A-Lot next door for a few odds and ends, Dollar Tree for same. Then took the "close" bus home for a nap with the kittles. Not a bad weekday off. But keeping in mind I will have to work Saturday and therefore Kroger Sunday, which means I won't get as much out of that day as usual (sigh) But since they are open 24/7 at least I'll get it out of the way early. Hi Tracy....Stopping by to see how you and furbabies are doing. I agree pets do have their routines, that makes them feel secure I think. Even Blackie has his daily routine when he comes around. While I was grocery shopping this morning husband was outside by the carport door keeping Blackie company while he ate. Husband bit down on a cough drop and it made a loud noise. Blackie ran off and I thought maybe we would never see him again, but he came back for dinner. But he has been acting kind of nervous. In a way it was funny, but not for Blackie.

Today was my "maranthon" day - - started leaving earlier this morning to stop off at Wal Mart before going into the pit for the non-perishable staples, then on my way home going into town to get gas in the car, over to PetsMart to re-stock my precious Noah's larder, then stopping off at the post office to mail the payments that cannot be done online, and then - - finally - - pointing the car toward home non-stop. I am soooo glad to be home with my little boy.
I hope you, your precious Theresa and little Tang will have a very peaceful and cozy warm evening, my friend. I thank you for the blessing of your friendship, and of your precious furkids. Please know each of you are in my thoughts and prayers, my friend, and that I always look forward to sharing your news and your treasured memories of your beloved Sir Thomas.

Hope this finds you well and home to your precious Noah after your marathon day. It's cold and rainy here, and the weather report says to expect that all day and night tomorrow. Today's work was my busiest yet with 75 calls, about 15 escalated. Seems the IRS changed their mind about releasing many people's funds from today to next week (sigh) But home now to my own fur kids. Three more days of work to go before I can rest - my own marathon day (Sunday) not withstanding. Not much here to report, all pretty much the same. Pats for Noah and TTFN

Hi, Tracy, hope this finds you, your precious Theresa and little Tang doing well and in good spirits this Thursday evening. Noah and I send you and your precious furkids our warmest greetings. It is always a blessing catching up on your news.
Is there a particular method of how you get the escalated calls - - such as a call specifically being forwarded to you - - or is it based on who picks up the forwarded call first? The IRS is famous for holding onto the people's money for as long as they can, BUT the people get penalized - - including daily interest charges -- for not "paying up" what the IRS says is owed. The IRS has been referred to by a few unkind descriptive words and compared to a few historical unscrupulous organizations. While I understand the agency's need to employ extraordinary measures in cases of deliberate fraud and refusal to pay taxes, I must confess I have some serious concerns about their strong-armed tactics toward the majority population who are just trying to survive on the few resources available to them - - including their annual tax refunds. Through the years there have been Congressional proposals to do away with the IRS. The older I get the more this idea appeals to me. However, I'm not convinced that what our elected officials would come up with as a "replacement" would be any better. Sad, but true.
Today was a better one in terms of just having a couple of quick errands to run after work which allowed me to get home to my precious Noah a lot sooner today. I hope your travels home to your precious furkids will be speedy and uneventfual this evening, my friend.
Not much news on this end today. I hope you, your precious Theresa and little Tang will have a very peaceful, blissful, and cozy warm evening, my friend. I thank you for the blessing of your friendship, and of your precious Theresa and little Tang. Please know each of you are in my thoughts and prayers, and that I always look forward to sharing your news and your treasured memories of your beloved Sir Thomas.

The escalated calls come to us via warm transfer (although that does not always happen) when a taxpayer, or preparer is angry and wants a supervisor. Many of these calls do not need to be escalated if the CSRs read the material and use common sense. But, I take them anyway. I think what happened with the IRS this year is they over reached themselves in trying to release funds earlier than previous years - and relaized they could not do it. Today was not as bad with only 52 calls with the last one being blind transfer escalation 8 minutes before I was due to get off. Thank goodness for my own "common sense" and 15 minute wiggle room in that the bus I want does not come until 30 minutes after my shift.
Home now with the kittles. Tang's ear was bit dirtier than usual, but over all not looking bad. Theresa is being more vocal that usual for some reason. Not much else to report. Hope this finds you and Noah doing well. TTFN

Hi, Tracy, sending you, your precious Theresa and little Tang good evening greetings from Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious furkids doing well and in good spirits.
Thank you for explaining how the escalated calls get transferred to you. I hope today was a decent one for you at work, and that you didn't have any prolonged last minute calls to detain you from getting home to your precious furkids.
Life here is greatly improved since it is Friday evening and I am home now with my precious Noah for the weekend. I know you work tomorrow - - is it all day - - an 8 hour shift? I know your precious Theresa and little Tang will be wondering why daddy is getting into his work clothes tomorrow morning, but they will be okay. I hope tomorrow is a decent day for you at work, my friend.
Need to get some evening chores done and then snuggle down with my precious Noah. I hope you and your precious fur tribe will have a very peaceful, blissful, and cozy evening, my friend. I thank you for the blessing of your friendship, and of your precious Theresa and little Tang. Please know you and your precious fur family are in my thoughts and prayers, Tracy, and that I always look forward to sharing your news and your treasured memories of your beloved Sir Thomas.

Yeah, as a matter of fact I did get a call 30 seconds before 5:15. She filed on the web and her direct deposit pre-note was rejected for a bad acct number and the check mailed. She wanted detailed documentation of WHY it failed (as if that would do her any good at this point) She wanted my sup, so our lead took over and I was still able to leave by 5:30. Didn't matter though because my bus was 30 minutes late, picked up a HUGE woman in a wheel chair with a screaming brood of kids who all sat next to/around me. But home now to the kids. Since I work tomorrow (yep, a full day, same hours except we leave at 5) and nothing new to report, going to keep it short. Pats to Noah - TTFN

Hi, Tracy, sending Caturday evening greetings to you, your precious Theresa and little Tang from Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious furkids doing well and in good spirits. I hope by now you are home with your precious furkids - - or will be soon - - and that your travels home were a bit more peaceful than yesterday.
Today has been a busy one finishing up on getting my tax information pulled together to take to my tax preparer. I have an appointment with him on Tuesday after work. I will be glad when I get everything submitted. This will be my last year of earned income. Yesterday I read an article on the internet about how employers are doing "personality profiles" on applicants to see who will "fit in" with the "social networking" of the company, and my employer has been doing this practice now for the last 5 or 6 years - - which is part of the annual evaluation as well. Employers are looking more and more for candidates who are "into" technology based sites such as Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc., thinking that the people who participate in these websites are "outgoing, social, and productive." Tracy, I do NOT fit into that mindset at all, and I just don't see the benefit of how it determines how well an employee is going to do the job for which they are hired to do. If you'd like to read the article I'll be glad to send you the link to it. The more I see technology take the place of common sense the more I shudder at continuing to be in the workforce. I am a dinosaur, and the more I see what's going on in the pit - - and read the projections of the now and future work expectations in the work force in general the more I realize I am an endangered species - - and definitely "expendable" in the workforce.
And perhaps I will soon find out just how quickly expendable I am with my current employer. As I was passing the office manager's office yesterday on the way back to my desk I overheard her talking to one of the other office workers - - she works in the hospice office on Mondays and Wednesdays - - asking her if she could "spare" a Monday morning to meet with the "new" office employee supervisor who would like to meet with all of the office employees at one time, preferably on a Monday morning when all of the office staff will be available to join the meeting. The office manager didn't have her door shut, and since the office is so very small EVERYTHING that is said, unless it is mimed, is heard. So, I guess whenever that takes place I will have some further confirmation and affirmation about my decision to exit the pit this summer - - if indeed I last that long. I'll let you know how things go whenever it takes place. I have no idea yet as to what was decided about the meeting.
So, this is all the news for now. I hope you, your precious Theresa and little Tang will have a very peaceful, blissful, and cozy warm evening. I thank you for the blessing of your friendship, Tracy, and of your precious furkids. Please know you and your precious fur tribe are in my thoughts and prayers, and that I always look forward to sharing your news and your treasured memories of your beloved Sir Thomas.

I' so sorry to hear about what's going on in your work place

I think it's odd that most work places block the internet to sites like Facebook and Twitter while at the same time encouraging their use to employees. Personally I think it's to "catch" people bad mouthing the company or manager so they can have an excuse to fire the ones they don't like. They are probably equally miffed at people they don't like who DON'T use those sites. It makes it hard to "catch" them grumbling about their job or the company. I've read many news articles about this very subject. I suppose it's good you don't use those sites, but I'm sure it vexes them that you don't as they are unable to spy.
My Caturday started out OK, but it seems al the nut jobs call in on Saturdays = and a lot of check verifications. The trip home was marred by the bus breaking down just before U of L. Driver called dipatch to see what to do and they'd send a replacement. During this 20 odd minutes he's goiung on about this is his last run for the day, won't pick up any more riders, and telling people that the Mall (end of the line) is closed; which it wasn't. When the next bus shows up (just after the replacement) he puts 20 of us on that already over crowded bus! The other driver asked didn't they send a replacement bus? He said yes but since they are now running neck and neck no point in his going on! Um, no point? How about easing the burden of the other overcrowded bus and finishing his shift? He WILL get reported Monday. I would love to know the "story" he tells his supervisor. On top of that, my shoulder pain is back, making SRO on the bus very hard.
But, I am home now and trying to make the best of it with the kittles (sigh) more later....TTFN

Hi, Tracy, sending you, your precious Theresa and little Tang our most heartfelt warmest greetings from Noah and me on this Sunday afternoon. I do hope this finds each of you doing well - - your shoulder feeling better - - and in good spirits - - at least better spirits. I am so sorry that your day yesterday was one of anguish - - particularly on your travels home. I totally agree with you that this driver's supervisor needs to be aware of what happened yesterday. I am so sorry you had this to contend with especially after Friday's travels home.
I thank you for your support on my work situation, my friend. I am trying to just take it one day at a time and will try to hang in there until my home equity loan is paid off. I have also been thinking about re-financing my mortgage to a lower interest rate which will lower my monthly payment which will take some extra stress off the resources I will have once I do exit the pit. I need to stop by the bank that currently holds my mortgage and talk to a financial rep.
I hope today is being kind to you, your precious Theresa and little Tang, my friend. I know you have your laundry done by now and hope that your errands went smoothly, too. I hope by now you are home with your precious furkids and are enjoying a well earned lazy Sunday afternoon and evening with your precious furkids.
I thank you for the blessing of your friendship, Tracy, and of your precious Theresa and little Tang. Please know you and your precious fur tribe are in my thoughts and prayers, and that I always look forward to sharing your news and your treasured memories of your beloved Sir Thomas.

I tried calling yesterdya and today to report that diver, but they are closed. I will probably go on their web cite as I did for the newspaper (another story about not geting my papers) I hope you are successfull in getting your rates lowered and that you are able to find a way to leave the pit that works for you and your precious Noah.
Today had been OK. Laundry done on time and my trip to Kroger was nice. That early on Sunday there were more employess in the store than shoppers. They continue to move things around, which made things difficult though. My cab driver's cab was in the shop but he came to get me both ways anyway with his own car! What a guy. Theresa, Tang and I are trying to enjoy what's left of a lazy Sunday before returning to work. They were just as perplexed at me getting ready to go to the store today after laundry as they were me getting ready for work yesterday, bless their hearts. Pats for Noah. TTFN

Hi Tracy...I hope you and furbabies are having a warm cozy evening. I know what you mean about less people shopping at Kroger on Sunday. I've had to go on Sunday quite a few times. The wind here was terrible today. A few days ago the wind blew off some of our shingles. The contractor thinks our insurance will pay for a new roof.
Blackie is doing okay, he stopped by all week, and left for the weekend. I ordered a body heat reflecting pad to go under his rug. It is supposed to help pets stay warm outside.
Tracy, I hope you have a peaceful work week and give the purrbabies a special pat for me.....God Bless...

It has not been too windy here, but definately NOT winter like. I hope this does not mean another scorcher summer

What a wonderful person you are to do so much for Blackie. I think someday he just might trust you enough to become your kitty. Perhaps Mickey sent him your way as Tom did Tang mine. I do hope your insurance will help with your roof. Hope you have a warm and peaceful evening. TTFN

Hi, Tracy, evening greetings to you, your precious Theresa and little Tang from Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious furkids doing well and in good spirits - - which will greatly improve when your little furkids hear the familiar sound of their daddy's footsteps in the hallway and the turn of the key in the lock and then - - DADDY'S HOME!!!
How so very wonderful that your cabbie friend took you in his own car to get your groceries yesterday. What a wonderful friend he is!! Yes, I can just hear your precious Theresa and little Tang, "hey, dad, why are getting dressed in your work duds on a Caturday morning???? And hey, dad, where are you going today (Sunday)??? This isn't normal - - daddy - - daddy". And I can just hear you talking to them, "It's okay, my children. It's my new job, - - gotta work today (Caturday), but it won't be every Caturday - - it's just my turn today. And because I worked yesterday, I gotta go get more provisions today (Sunday). But I won't be gone too long. I'll be home to you just as fast as I can, and then we'll have the whole rest of the day and evening together. I promise." I know your precious furkids were very happy when you got home from shopping to be with them for the rest of the day and evening.
I can imagine this week is going to feel like a very long one after only having yesterday off. I hope today is going okay for you and that you won't have any last minute calls to take or unruly travels home to contend with. I thank you for the blessing of your friendship, Tracy, and of your precious Theresa and little Tang. I hope you and your precious fur tribe will have a very peaceful, blissful, and cozy warm evening, my friend. Please know you and your precious fur family are in my thoughts and prayers, and that I always look forward to sharing your news and your treasured memories of your beloved Sir Thomas.

Hope this finds you and Noah doing well. The kids did indeed have those kinds of reactions Caturday and Sunday. And I did my best to reassure them. All was well by late Sunday morning. Today did not start out so well to the sound of my phone ringing to wake me up at 4 AM! I did not answer it of course, but could not really get back to sleep. The VM was from somebody at the newspaper assuring my papers would be delivered everyday and on time (this has been an on going issue) I wrote a very scathing email, well added to the alreadly miles long thread on the issue that I did NOT appreciate this. I'm really starting to think this is personal from my carriers.
Today was a usual Monday for calls and crazies on the escalated line. I did get out on time and the bus was on time. I'm home now and that is good. Tang's ear showed some signs of having been bleeding when I cleaned which has me worried. It was not a lot and I suspect it was from scratching as I see no other anomolies. Even so, first thing Caturday he's going to the vet. Yes this week already seems long and it just started (sigh) But I will get through it. Peace and TTFN

Hi, Tracy, it's always a blessing logging in to get caught up on your and your precious Theresa's and little Tang's news. Noah and I send you and your precious furkids our good evening greetings, and hope this finds each of you doing well and in good spirits.
Mondays are usually insane getting calls, paper shuffling from weekend activity, etc.. I'm glad you were able to get home to your precious furkids at a decent hour yesterday without the "trrauma" of previous travels. Now I ask you - - who in their right mind would call someone at 4 a.m. to let a customer know they will be getting their paper delivered? Yeah, I too know the hassle you're going through - - been there done that. A few year's back when I was experiencing some really tight finances it gave me the opportunity to stop delivery altogether. Now I get my news online which is just as reliable. Don't miss not getting a newspaper anymore. And I don't have to bundle newspapers up anymore to take to the recycling center. I do hope your delivery problems will be resolved with this latest communication.
I'm hoping that your little Tang's ear is doing better today, and that your vet will be able to give you reassurance and guidance on Saturday. I will be very interested in knowing how his check up goes.
Today is Tuesday, my friend - - two days down three to go. I hope today has been a decent one for you at work, and that you, your precious Theresa and little Tang will have a very peaceful, blissful, and cozy warm evening. I thank you for the blessing of your friendship, Tracy, and of your precious furkids. Please know you and your precious fur family are in my thoughts and prayers, and that I always look forward to sharing your news and your treasured memories of your beloved Sir Thomas.

Hope this finds you and Noah doing well. My personal opinion on the 4 AM call is harrassment from the carrier angry at my reporting him, and I stated that in my email. I'm old fashioned in that I like to hold an actual news paper, especially since no internet at work.
Tang's ear looks better in that at least there was no traces of blood tonight. I'm still taking him to the vet Caturday. Theresa is doing well also. Today was a little better today at work. Again, most escalated calls were because of bad information. But I figure I get 1.00/hour more than them and the odds of us being there longer in the season than them is much better too. Not much else to report here tonight. Pats for Noah. TTFN
