Hello moon_beam. Cloudy and cold greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope this finds you both doing well. I'm so glad to hear the prescription is working well enough to have a good sleep in with your boy; there's nothing like it.

I woke up (again) around 9:30 (ish) and braved the outside (bundled up of course) to get a bus to the Dollar Tree for cold medicine, soup, tissue, etc.

Came back and died on the sofa after having a bowl of plain, hot tomato soup with Theresa and Tang never far away. They both "insisted" I get up a little while ago. I wonder how much of this attention is concern for my well being and how much is instinct for get up and feed us, etc? I seem to remember Tang getting better treatment than that a while back. Oh well. I'm up now. Please forgive the brevity of my posts until I'm back to par.

I hope today was kind to you and Noah and that you both have a peaceful evening. TTFN

Hi, Tracy, sunny 40-ish T G I F greetings to you and your precious princess Theresa and little prince Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious companions doing well and in good spirits.

I'm so sorry yesterday was another "cruddy" day for you. I know from first hand experience what it's like to feel like a wet dish rag - - any movement depleting already minimal energy levels. I hope this extra day off work will help you in your healing journey. Please let us know how you're doing - - whenever you feel up to it.

I am very happy to share with you that the winter weather event from last night only brought a very light coating of snow here and now with temps in the 40's and bright sunbeams there is no trace of snow on the ground. I hope this is winter's "last hurrah" - - but we still have the rest of March to get through.

I was up around 9:15 this morning while my precious boy remained snuggled under blankets until around 11 a.m. when he joined me at the desk as I was working a bit on financials. He is settled comfortably next to me keeping me faithful company as I'm writing to you. I need to trim his nails again at some point in time which I know is not his favorite activity.

Not much on the agenda here for today. Once again, my friend, I hope you are feeling just a little bit better today, that today is treating you and your precious Theresa and little Tang kindly, and that you and your precious companions will have a peaceful, blissful, cozy evening. I thank you for the blessing of your friendship, Tracy, and of your precious Theresa and little Tang. Please know you and your precious companions are in my thoughts and prayers, and that I always look forward to knowing how you and your precious Theresa and little Tang are doing, along with the community waifs, and to sharing your treasured memories of your beloved Sir Thomas.

Peace and blessings,

Hello moon_beam. Cloudy and cool greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope this finds you both doing well. I also hope your prescription is steadily bringing less and less pain.

Still feel like "crud" today but more or less functional. All I did today "outside" was laundry and feed the waifs. I didn't have it in me to go to the store. Between what I got at Dollar Tree yesterday and what I already have (such as an unopened tub of litter) I should make it to next week. The only thing I really "need" is a big bag of food for the waifs, and I can get that on the way home from work tomorrow; yes I will have to go because I can't afford to go to the doctor until next pay day (3 days need a note) since they started charging my deductible up front dry.gif

The rest of the day has been spent under the covers sleeping/resting with the kitties. I don't know how high my temp has been running as I have no thermometer - but it was bad enough to get fever blisters on my lips. This guy (at work) is deliberately going around infecting people and laughing about it mad.gif Well, if management doesn't do anything about it, we'll see what the local health dept/CDC will have to say about it. That's as much as I have in me for a rant. I just have not been down this long in years, and therefore more of an outside force than the weather is behind it.

Theresa and Tang at least are doing well. I hope today has been kind to you and Noah and that you both have a blissful evening. TTFN

Hi, Tracy, sunny 40-ish Caturday greetings to you and your precious princess Theresa and little prince Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious companions doing well - - you in your continued recovery from the "crud" - - and in reasonably good spirits.

It sounds like you are having a rough go of it with the cold / flu. I can sooooo understand your frustration about this employee who refuses to cover his nose and mouth when sneezing / coughing. The very same thing happened in the home health office which was my previous employer - - despite the repeated postings of infection control measures some of the clinical and administrative staff refused to adhere to the regulations - - and got away with it - - while infecting the other staff. Sadly there is little the local health department / CDC can do about it unless it is a serious outbreak such as measles, e-coli, norovirus, etc.. I'm so sorry you are having to endure through this, my friend, and hope your efforts to get to work today will not cause you a relapse. Please let us know how you're doing.

My precious Noah just emerged from underneath the blankets and is keeping me faithful company as I'm writing to you. Not much on the agenda for today. Soon I will need to start interviewing contractors to do the spring yard work and mowing - - I'm not looking forward to that but it needs to be done.

I hope today is treating you kindly at work, my friend, - - and if you get to feeling poorly that your supervisor will give you an "early release." And as always, I hope that your travels are safe, comfortable, and expedient so that you and your precious Theresa and little Tang can have a peaceful, blissful, cozy evening. I thank you for the blessing of your friendship, Tracy, and of your precious companions. Please know you and your precious Theresa and little Tang are in my thoughts and prayers, and that I always look forward to knowing how you and your precious companions are doing, along with the community waifs, and to sharing your treasured memories of your beloved Sir Thomas.

Good Sunday morning moon_beam to you and your precious Noah. I hope you are both doing well.

Sorry I didn't post last night. But I really didn't have it in me after the long walk to the bus stop and stopping to get food for the waifs.

Feeling better I suppose, but still very weak and tired. Theresa and Tang are both well and helping me to get back on my feet, so to speak. Again, sorry for the brevity, but I need to rest up some more. I just wanted you to know I am OK (more or less)

Hi, Tracy, sunny 40-ish Sunday greetings to you and your precious princess Theresa and little prince Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious companions doing well - - you as well as can be expected in your continued recovery - - and in reasonably good spirits.

So glad you survived yesterday at work - - which must have felt like a very long agonizing day. I hope you are able to get lots of rest today with your precious fur tribe keeping you company.

Not much happening around the homestead here today. My precious Noah is doing well and keeping me faithful company as I'm writing to you. According to the forecast temps are supposed to get quite warm here this week into the 70's perhaps by Tuesday.

I perfectly understand about the brevity, my friend. Just get plenty of rest today. As always, I hope today is treating you and your precious Theresa and little Tang kindly, and that you and your precious companions will have a peaceful, blissful, cozy evening. Hello moon_beam. Sunny and mild Sunday greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope this finds you both doing well.

Thanks for the continued encouragement on what is now day 5 of my ordeal. I think I have it beat for the most part, but there are vestiges of it hanging on such as slightly labored exhale, aches and occasional chills. This was a monster that got me.

Theresa and Tang have been right by my side though. Cat therapy does wonders. Hopefully the new week and better weather will knock it out completely.

I hope today is treating you and Noah kindly, and that you both have a pleasant evening. TTFN

Hi, Tracy, sunny 50-ish Monday greetings to you and your precious princess Theresa and little prince Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious companions doing well - - you feeling better - - and in good spirits.

I'm so smiling at "cat therapy" - - indeed - - there is no better "medicine" than to have the loving comfort of our precious companions. Hope your day of rest yesterday has offered you some renewed energy so that you can feel more comfortable going to work today.

Did some work on financials this morning while my precious boy snuggled under blankets and made some calls to lawn maintenance contractors I found in the telephone directory. Most of the numbers are now "non working numbers" according to the recordings I got, but there are a couple of contractors who appear to still be in business so we'll see what happens.

The sunbeams are bright and cheery today, and my precious boy has made his rounds and has settled on his bathroom window perch to rest a bit as I'm writing to you.

I hope today is treating you kindly at work, my friend, and that your travels are safe, comfortable, and expedient so that you and your precious Theresa and little Tang can have a peaceful, blissful, cozy evening. Hello moon_beam. Partly sunny and warmer (high 69) greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope this finds you both doing well. So glad to hear your little man had "real" sunbeams today to bask in. I hope you can find a lawn contractor that fits your needs.

Well all I'm dealing with now is headache, light headiness, and some nausea. Probably low blood sugar due to poor diet because - you guessed it - I was sick (ugh) But made it through the day.

Tomorrow will be 6 months on the job which is good timing for the year end reviews the sup handed out and told us to electronically sign off on in ADP. All 3s (meets) but no notes or elaborations. Hardly a shock since he seems to have 0 interest in my performance. And I got a whopping 0.63% raise (or 9 cents an hour) Pretty sure the minimum cost of living index is like 1.7 % dry.gif What ever. Corporate greed.

The bus home was more or less on time though, and that's good. Theresa and Tang both met me at the door and are doing well. They had some balcony time which they both literally LEAPED at rolleyes.gif

I hope today has been kind to you and Noah and that you both have a peaceful evening. TTFN

Hi, Tracy, sunny pleasant 70's degree Tuesday greetings to you and your precious princess Theresa and little prince Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious companions doing well and in good spirits.

After 6 months on the job "meets expectations" is a good review. At least you didn't receive any "below standards". Yeah I know about the minimal pay increases - - still every penny counts. With my last employer the corporate move was to keep performance ratings as low as possible so that management could get by with the most minimal pay increase as possible - - making it harder for the employee (some employees more than others) to acquire an "exceeds standards" rating. Just keep doing the great job you're doing, my friend, and hopefully after you meet the one year HR requirements you will be able to be taken seriously for other job opportunities in other departments.

A yard contractor came this morning to look at the property, and his estimates for doing the yard clean up, mowing, etc., were pretty much what I expected. The good news is that he offers a monthly installment plan which is what I was hoping for. He also does snow removal. He was totally shocked at the figure I told him I had paid to have the snow removed from the two major snow events we had in February. I have another contractor coming Friday morning to give me an estimate and will be making my decision accordingly.

I received a telephone call yesterday from my doctor with the results of the blood test for rheumatoid arthritis - - it is negative. So whatever has been causing the joint pain and swelling is due to something else yet to be determined. I am continue with the Celebrex for 2 to 3 weeks, and if there is no improvement or if symptoms continue I am to see my doctor again. I will also need to get my X-rays taken 12/21/2015 to take with me to my orthopedic evaluation on 3/23, and I am in the process of arranging a ride with the Neighbors assistance program to do that one day this week.

My precious Noah is doing well which is always a blessing of good news to share with you. With the warmer temps I have finally been able to turn off the central heating to the upstairs area, and only need to run Noah's space heater for his comfort and convenience. This will help with next month's electric bill.

I'm sorry you're still having to deal with the effects of your cold / flu. It is important that you try to get as much rest as possible, my friend. I do sooooooo know how miserable it is to have to go into work when you're not feeling well - - it's bad enough when you're feeling okay. Please let us know how you're doing.

I hope today is treating you kindly at work, my friend, and that your travels are safe, comfortable, and expedient so that you and your precious Theresa and little Tang can have a peaceful, blissful, cozy evening. I thank you for the blessing of your friendship, Tracy, and of your precious companions. Hello moon_beam. Sunny and pleasant greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope this finds you both doing well. Glad to hear your test for rheumatoid arthritis came back negative, although now the mystery is what IS causing the pain unsure.gif Let me know how it goes. Also, I hope which ever yard contractor you go with works out for you as well.

Still hanging on to a bit of that queasiness that just won't seem to go away (sigh) A slower day at work at least though. I found out my "raise" was prorated. Had I been there the whole year, it would have been about 3% or about 40 cents. Oh well. I'll try not to spend my 9 cents all in one place.

The bus driver going home set a record of being only 5 minutes late 2 nights in a row. Whether that will become precedent remains to be seen. Theresa and Tang both greeted me at the door and enjoyed some balcony time in this nice weather. Both are well.

I hope today has been kind to you and you and Noah and that you both have a blissful evening. TTFN

Hi, Tracy, sunny 70-ish degree Wednesday greetings to you and your precious princess Theresa and little prince Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious companions doing well and in good spirits.

Sorry you're still coping with unpleasant effects of the cold / flu. A monster like the one you had attack you takes awhile to completely disappear from the system. Go slowly with the digestive tract in what you eat until you get to feeling better, and please let us know how you're doing.

Was able to get a ride this morning through the Neighbors assistance program to the doctor's office to get my x-rays for my orthopedic evaluation on 3/23. Thankfully they are on a CD so I don't have to lug heavy film x-rays into the orthopedic office. Not much else happening around the homestead today. Feeling better to the point the the "light headedness" comes and goes and is no longer constant. I guess that's progress. I'm keeping my diet light and bland for now. At least I made it through another work day in one piece.

The bus driver home did not set precedent as he was back to 8 minutes late tonight (sigh) Theresa and Tang both met me at the door though which always makes me biggrin.gif They both ate their can food and are settling in.

So glad to share your news that you are finding improvement a little bit each day in your recovery from the monster cold / flu. At least you're moving in the right direction. It may take another week or so for you get back to feeling 100 percent. Just continue to take things easy and get plenty of rest - - and please let us know how you're doing.

Not much happening around the homestead here today - - which is okay with me. Tomorrow morning there will be another lawn contractor come to take a look at the property and give me an estimate. I'm not in any hurry for the work to begin - - but will need to make a decision sometime this weekend.

My precious Noah is doing well. He has been keeping me faithful company in all my activities this morning. Am working on doing updates on the big desk top which seems to be running slow today for some reason - - but at least it's running.

Hello moon_beam. Unending rain greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope this finds you both doing well.

Had a little setback with the "monster" today that resulted in an early release from work (sigh) I made my way in the door about 3:45 to the surprise of Theresa and Tang. I got out of my wet clothes and laid on the bed and finished my book. They lay quietly with me in perfect harmony. I guess I wasn't getting quite enough rest. It stinks getting older, but I guess it beats the alternative.

At least I'll get a jump on my rest tonight for errands tomorrow. Not much else happening. I hope today has been kind to you and Noah and that you both have peaceful evening. TTFN

Hi, Tracy, cloudy 70-ish T G I F greetings to you and your precious princess Theresa and little prince Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious companions doing well - - you doing better today - - and in good spirits.

So sorry you had a setback yesterday at work but am glad your supervisor gave you an early release so that you could go home. I know you have struggled this week feeling as bad as you have going into work to begin with. I commend for your determination. I hope you will be able to get your errands / chores done quickly today so that you can have most of this day to rest with the healing company of your precious fur tribe. Please let us know how you're doing.

The lawn contractor was here this morning at the scheduled time. His approach is very "seat of the pants" as opposed to the first contractor who is more organized. I haven't received a response to my e-mail contact with the first contractor yesterday, and his telephone voice mailbox is full preventing any new messages. I prefer the first contractor, but if he's not going to be responsive then I guess I'll have to go with the second contractor. We'll see how it goes.

Not much else happening around the homestead at the moment. My precious Noah got up when I did and kept me company as I did my morning routines getting dressed, etc.. He is settled comfortably next to me keeping me faithful company as I'm writing to you. At some point I may try to do a bit of vacuuming to try to get some of the gritty grit up. It won't be anything major - - just enough to try to tidy things up a bit.

As always, my friend, I hope today is treating you and your precious Theresa and little Tang kindly, and that you and your precious companions will have a peaceful, blissful, cozy evening. Hello moon_beam. Cloudy and cool greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope this finds you both doing well. Sorry to hear you can't seem to get hold of your preferred contractor. Which ever way you go, I hope it works out well for you.

Still not feeling quite right. I really don't know what it wrong with me. It resulted in my ignoring my alarm and sleeping until almost 8:00 this morning. That put everything behind, but I still got it all done. It did make provisioning the waifs risky though, but I don't think I was seen. Speaking of which, I saw Tux yesterday. He was a bit wary at first but warmed right up when he recognized me. I wonder where he goes? I'm pretty sure I saw Lulu too, but she didn't seem like herself. She was scared and wouldn't quite approach me. Her fur was all matted too like she'd been caught in the rain. She was probably nice to some people and they in turn were mean to her sad.gif

Closer to home, Theresa and Tang are doing well and have provided me with loving company today. I hope today has been kind to you and Noah and that you both have a blissful evening. TTFN

Hi, Tracy, cloudy 60-ish degree Caturday greetings to you and your precious princess Theresa and little prince Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious companions doing well and in good spirits.

Tracy, for as ill as you were last week and having a relapse at work that required you to have an early release this week is really no surprise that you are still not feeling "quite right." I hear through the grapevine that whatever is "going around" is very brutal and can take several weeks to completely recover. You need to get plenty of rest and try to keep the activity levels as low as possible - - which I know when you're the only human in your household that is near to impossible. You mentioned in a previous post that you would be able to see a doctor in a couple of weeks, and if this is an accurate memory of what you wrote you may want to consider this option if you're still not feeling well. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers, and please let us know how you're doing.

My Canon workhorse copier / printer has gone on the fritz. I put in a new toner cartridge last Tuesday, 3/8, and it is now not printing properly. Don't know if it's a bad cartridge or if there's something else that has decided to go wrong with it. I called the company that serviced it about 2, 3 years ago and a rep is supposed to come Monday to take a look at it and hopefully get it back in working order. Since he has to make a house call this time the cost will be at least double what I paid before - - naturally. But I need this printer as it is my primary printer and I also rely heavily on the copier function as well. I'll let you know how things go.

I was finally able to get in touch with my preferred yard contractor late yesterday afternoon. Several personal things happened all at once which is why he wasn't able to get back in touch with me - - or any of his other clients - - sooner. I told him I would like his services and he is supposed to call me sometime next week to let me know when he can begin. So this is good news under the circumstances. I would much prefer to be doing the work myself - - but that isn't possible.

I was able to do some vacuuming yesterday which helps me to feel like I'm not completely useless. My precious Noah kept me company as my "foreman" watching what I was doing. Now that the temps have warmed up he is spending more time upstairs for private time in the evenings but always comes back downstairs at some point during the night to cuddle with me.

My friend, I hope today is treating you kindly at work, and that your travels are safe, comfortable, and expedient so that you and your precious Theresa and little Tang can have a peaceful, blissful, cozy evening. I thank you for the blessing of your friendship, Tracy, and of your precious companions. Hi, Tracy, cloudy 60-ish degree Sunday greetings to you and your precious princess Theresa and little prince Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious companions doing well and in good spirits.

Thank you for letting us know you got home to your precious fur tribe safely yesterday. Any other news can wait until you feel up to sharing it with us.

I have had to stop the Celebrex because I was beginning to have some serious itching side effects. I didn't take the med yesterday and today I am feeling the effects. I will call my doctor tomorrow to let him know what is happening. The brochure that came with the medication stated that Benadryl can be taken with Celebrex to counteract the itching side effects BUT doing that also diminishes the therapeutic effects of the Celebrex. I will wait to hear what my doctor wants me to do. I will resume the OTC generic tylenol to try to get some relief from the pain.

My precious Noah is still snuggled under blankets as I'm writing to you. Daylight Savings Time has arrived along with having to adjust to the change. I'm glad you have today to be home with your precious companions so that you can get some rest as you transition to the time change.

Hello moon_beam. Partly sunny and warm greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope this finds you both doing well. I'm so sorry to hear the Celebrex isn't working out for you sad.gif I hope your doctor can come up with something to help. Thoughts and prayers.

Yesterday I felt fairly OK until it was time for the long walk home to the bus stop. But by the time I got home, not so much (as you saw) This morning I got up and only did the bare minimum - take care of my kitties and the waifs. Then I laid back down on the couch. I tried to eat a little left over fish at around 1:00 but could not. I then slept until about 6:00.

At this point I may just take my shower, some generic Nyquil and go to bed. But I will wait for Theresa and Tang who are enjoying balcony time. Both are well BTW.

I hope today has been kind to you and Noah and that you both have a most pleasant evening. TTFN

Hi, Tracy, cloudy 50-ish degree Monday greetings to you and your precious princess Theresa and little prince Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious companions doing well and in good spirits.

Sorry you are still not feeling well, my friend. I hope you were able to get some good rest last night. Please let us know how you're doing.

The service rep for the printer / copier was here this morning. The toner cartridge was bad - - which was a "generic" one I purchased on the internet a few months ago to have in stock when needed. So it was replaced with a very expensive genuine Canon cartridge. He also cleaned the machine and then was on his way. It's good to have it back up and running, although it was yet another expensive cost to incur. Someone somewhere must think I have a private goldmine.

Called the doctor's office this morning - - my doctor is on vacation this week. The receptionist offered to have one of the other doctors in the office write me a different prescription. I don't have the funds to be paying for drugs that do not "work" for me. Neither of the other two doctors in the practice have ever seen me - - so they know nothing about me. The generic tylenol is helping so I'll stick with that and if the pain levels really get to rise again I will resume the Celebrex - - hopefully this will get me through until my doctor returns next week.

Did some work on the big desk top this morning and it is now going through its security scan before I shut it down for the day. Will need to do a couple of errands this week and have a call into the Neighbors assistance program for transportation help.

My precious Noah is doing well. He is settled comfortably next to me keeping me faithful company as I'm writing to you.

My friend, I hope today is treating you kindly at work, and that your travels are safe, comfortable, and expedient so that you and your precious Theresa and little Tang can have a peaceful, blissful, cozy evening. I thank you for the blessing of your friendship, Tracy, and of your precious companions. Please know you and your precious Theresa and little Tang are in my thoughts and prayers, and that I always look forward to knowing how you and your precious companions are doing, along with the community waifs, and to sharing your treasured memories of your beloved Sir Thomas.

Hello moon_beam. Windy with scattered showers greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope this finds you both doing well. I'm so sorry to hear that your printer repair set you back so much. I can certainly sympathize with unexpected expenses. After everything you have been through with this doctor, might it be time to find another one? Just a thought. I hate knowing that you are in such pain when there is probably a solution out there. I hope you feel better soon.

Thank you for the kind thoughts on my own well being. I think I've narrowed it down though. Getting so sick in the first place led to taking so much cold medicine which in turn led to difficulty going to the bathroom which led to my not wanting to eat so much. Low blood sugar. As an experiment I popped a couple cough drops at work and started feeling better within about 10-15 minutes. I think I have some B complex pills around here I can take until my diet returns to normal.

Speaking of work, I had only 2 calls first thing logging in, then none for the rest of the day blink.gif At first I thought we were just really slow, but my classmate across from me was getting calls (same skill set) granted not many, but some. I was going to report it but decided I liked the break. I mean I was logged in, in available, and in the right work group. I'll see what happens tomorrow.

The bus home was about 7 minutes late as usual. It rained the whole time until (you guessed it) I stepped in my door. Tang greeted me at the door and Theresa was on a pillow on the bed demanding "hugs" the minute she saw me. Both are well, but Tang's been refusing his can food again (sigh) time to start alternate plans I guess.

I hope today has been kind to you and Noah and that you both have a peaceful evening. TTFN

Hi, Tracy, now sunny almost 70-ish degree Tuesday greetings to you and your precious princess Theresa and little prince Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious companions doing well and in good spirits.

So glad you have OTC meds to help you through your recovery from the "monster" crud. As sick as you were it doesn't surprise me that things "snowballed" on you on the way you're feeling. Just keep doing the good things you're doing for "comfort measures" and try to get plenty of rest.

If I need to I will make an appointment with one of the other doctors in the practice while my doctor is on vacation. Hopefully I won't have to do that because I really don't like going to see a doctor in the first place - - but whatever is happening with me is "out of my league" for home-style remedies. Doctors "practice" medicine - - the human body truly is not an "exact science" - - what works for one person can kill another. And so it is with "trial and error" testing techniques until a "smoking gun" appears that leads to a diagnosis. I'm on that "trial and error" treadmill. I just have to endure through this until a definitive diagnosis can hopefully be made. I'll let you know what happens when it happens.

Was able to print out my monthly bank statement and will be working on reconciling the checkbook with the statement at some point this week. My precious Noah is doing well. He is enjoying the natural sunbeams coming in through the big windows now - - they must feel warmer now, but he still enjoys stretching out in front of his personal space heater sometimes.

Not much else on the agenda here today. I hope today is treating you kindly at work, my friend, and that your travels are safe, comfortable, and expedient so that you and your precious Theresa and little Tang can have a peaceful, blissful, cozy evening. I thank you for the blessing of your friendship, Tracy, and of your precious companions. Please know you and your precious Theresa and little Tang are in my thoughts and prayers, and that I always look forward to knowing how you and your precious companions are doing, along with the community waifs, and to sharing your treasured memories of your beloved Sir Thomas.

Hello moon_beam. Sunny skies and 80 degree (not supposed to last through today though) greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope this finds you both doing well. Having worked briefly as a temp setting appointments at the university pain clinic, I know pain management is a tricky thing. I just hope you and your doctor(s) can come up with something to ease your suffering. You don't deserve this kind of "new normal" my friend. I know what you mean about Noah still wanting his heater. Even on days like this Theresa will stand by her heater and give me cow eyes rolleyes.gif

The B complex seems to be doing the trick for the most part. Part of my uneasiness could have been the temperature spike today as well. Well after my first break this morning and having had no calls, I decided to alert my sup via Lync. He said he'd look into it but never got back to me. So, ZERO calls today huh.gif Not complaining, but something must be wrong with how they have me in the system. But, I did my duty reporting it. If they want to pay me to sit there and stare at my screen, so be it.

The bus home was closer to on time than yesterday which was good. Theresa and Tang were at the door to greet me too happy.gif I tried giving Tang that Perfect Portions I picked up at Kroger a while back. He ate about 1/2 of it which isn't bad considering it's about equal to 1/2 a standard can. I refrigerated the rest, so we'll see. Both are well and enjoying some balcony time on this unusually nice day.

I hope today has been kind to you and Noah and that you both have a blissful evening. TTFN

Hi, Tracy, sunny delightful 80-ish degree Wednesday greetings to you and your precious princess Theresa and little prince Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious companions doing well and in good spirits.

So glad you are feeling a bit better with the B complex supplement. It's about time after being so ill with the monster crud. Hope you will continue to feel better and stronger, my friend. Please let us know how you're doing.

Good thing you reported the lack of calls to your supervisor. Please let us know how things go.

It was an early rise day here as it was errand day. The nice couple that took me grocery shopping last month came to help me with transportation. Got some groceries and went to the bank. Took a nap after I got Noah his lunch - - woke up about a half ago, and remembered I needed to get a note off to you before shutting down this gizmo for the day. My precious boy is doing well and has been keeping me faithful company since I got home from errands.

Soon you will be on your trek homeward to your precious companions who are eagerly anticipating your arrival. I hope today has been treating you kindly at work, my friend, and that your travels are safe, comfortable, and expedient so that you and your precious Theresa and little Tang can have a peaceful, blissful, cozy evening.

Sunny and pleasant greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope this finds you both doing well. So glad to hear you had assistance getting all of your errands done.

Well, they deleted me and added me back into the system. What a difference too. It's not like my call volume exploded ( about 3 calls an hour) but I got almost no calls directly from merchants. About 95% of my calls where tier 1 transfers. I got to the point once they gave me the info I told them to send them through. No point in protracting a call with those poorly trained idiots when I know I'm likely going to have to transfer dry.gif One of the leads asked me to keep track of those types of calls (they are supposed to be able to tell the difference between tech and merchant services) and email them to her. Not holding my breath on anything being done about it though. They are in the Phillipines and probably making less than minimum wage.

My bus was even closer to on time tonight to the point I barely missed it going in and had to wait on it coming back around. Theresa and Tang both met me at the door and are really enjoying balcony time - running in and out like crazy kitties laugh.gif There was even a bit of playing between them. Both are well.

I hope today has been kind to you and Noah and that you both have a most pleasant evening. TTFN

Hi, Tracy, sunny gusty windy almost 70-ish degree Thursday greetings to you and your precious princess Theresa and little prince Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious companions doing well and in good spirits.

Who - - or what - - on earth got the less than brilliant idea to delete you from the system? I'm soooooo glad you contacted your supervisor so that he could find out what was going on.

So glad your travels homeward last night were more on time. This is always helpful after a long day in the trenches. Sounds like your fur tribe was "celebrating" last night having their Forever Dad home and balcony time. I know seeing them happy and contented brings a good feeling to you.

Was able to get the checkbook reconciled with the bank statement this morning - - to the penny this month. I also worked on entering the April bill payments into the checkbook in preparation to begin scheduling online payments next week. My precious boy enjoyed a good sleep in under blankets this morning while I worked on financials. He has had his lunch and mine is now ready, so will get this off to you.

I hope today is treating you kindly at work, my friend, and that your travels are safe, comfortable, and expedient so that you and your precious Theresa and little Tang can have a peaceful, blissful, cozy evening. Hello moon_beam. Sunny and pleasant greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope this finds you both doing well. Glad to hear your check rec went well this time around.

Let me clarify about the phone system. They looked and I was set up fine and they could find no issues. So, they deleted me and put me back in to fix a possible "glitch" Worked a little too well dry.gif I swear I had one tier 1 send me one saying the merchant "needs all the password prompts removed" I said yeah, it's keyboard locked, easiest fix out there. Don't you know how to do that? She swore up and down that wasn't it (read: argued) Guess what it was? See why I don't even let them tell me the problem anymore? Total waste of money on Vaniv's part these people.

My bus home was 20 minutes late with no traffic and no other soul on there (sigh) Luck of luck though as the UPS bus was also just about that late. So at least I didn't have the long walk home from Dollar Tree.

Tang met me at the door and I found Theresa on the bed ready for her hugs wub.gif They are both well and have worn themselves out again with balcony time. I do love this time of year if for no other reason happy.gif

I hope today has been kind to you and Noah and that you both have a peaceful evening. TTFN

Hi, Tracy, sunny 60-ish degree T G I F greetings to you and your precious princess Theresa and little prince Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious companions doing well and in good spirits.

Thank you for explaining about the technical "fix" to your not getting calls. When everything else fails deleting and re-entering, shut down, or reboot seems to do the trick - - most times. Your expertise in diagnosing customer problems is a tribute to your valuable experience -- which I'm sure the customers appreciate when they're able to get back to doing what they need to do because of your help. Keep doing the great job you're doing, my friend.

So glad you were able to get your bus rides home last night. You needed this to help with your energy levels after being so sick. The best part as always is walking through the door knowing your precious fur tribe is there eagerly waiting your arrival.

Was able to get the checks written this morning that will need to be mailed. Want to get them in the mail on Wednesday, 3/23, on the way to my orthopedic evaluation. My precious Noah joined me at the desk to keep me company as I was working. He is now stretched out on his big window bench enjoying the sunbeams through the big windows.

Temps are forecasted to take a nosedive this weekend with highs only in the 40's. The forecast was also including the chance of some wet snow in the region but the latest internet forecast is for rain. So we'll see what actually happens Saturday into Sunday. The good news is that temps warm up quickly next week, especially for Wednesday's trek to the orthopedist.

I hope you are able to get your errands / chores done quickly today so that you can enjoy most of this day with your precious Theresa and little Tang as well as have a peaceful, blissful, cozy evening. I thank you for the blessing of your friendship, Tracy, and of your precious companions. Hello moon_beam. Sunny and cooler, but still pleasant greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope this finds you both doing well. Glad to hear your boy had some honest to goodness sunbeams today. We are due for wet colder weather too the next few days. How's that for the official start of spring?

Except for an occasional cough, I'm feeling much improved except for all the residual acetaminophen from the cold meds in my system affecting my regularity dry.gif

I don't know how much my employer appreciates my "expertise" Especially the way they fawn all over the new people who had 2 weeks more training and still seem to know nothing. At least the that's what I see in the group chat. I never answer anyone anymore, but have made a game out of saying the answer really low and waiting for a lead to type exactly what I just said.

I got up at 5:45 to my alarm and had the laundry room all to myself. Took care of my troop and then the waifs. I ended up laying down on the bed with Tang while my clothes were drying and fell asleep knocking my intended schedule back about 30 minutes. Still, I got to the library and to Kroger to pick up my RX and do some shopping. My RX is no longer on the generic plan. They ran my insurance card and it ended up only being about half the old generic price. Catch is I can only get 30 days at a time. So, I guess I'll be calling my doctor's office more frequently (sigh)

I didn't get as lucky on the way home. I literally missed the UPS connecting bus by seconds at the light getting off the other bus. Oh well, since I didn't need litter this time around my load was lighter and I still got home by 10:45.

The rest of the day has been spent in quiet reflection and rest with Theresa and Tang. Both are well and enjoying some balcony time before it gets cold again.

I hope today has been kind to you and Noah and that you both have a blissful evening. TTFN

Hi Tracy,

I'm sorry you have been so sick and I'm glad you are doing better now. I'm glad Lt. Tang and Princess Theresa are doing well.

The same kitties come around for food and a nap sometimes. They seem to be well and fat.

The weather was so nice and sunny today. I went out on the patio to throw some old bread out for the birds. A little white butterfly flew close to me. That made tears come to my eyes, feeling that Mickey was getting in touch with me. I didn't expect to see one this early although we do have spring flowers and a big yellow Forsythia bush in bloom. I saw the butterfly again this evening while putting out seeds for the birds.

Well, I must go and read the State Journal online. I stopped the printed paper because it is getting too hard to keep it and other things recycled.

Have a good weekend and a cozy night with your little sweet furbabies. You all are always in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless...LMM

Moon_beam...I'm so sorry about your health problems. I know how it is having to get help with everything. You are in my thoughts and prayers to get better soon.....LMM

Hi LMM.

Thanks for the kind words about my extended bout with what ever crud is going around. Some days are better than others.

I'm glad to hear Blackie, Stryker, Socks and Fluffy are still coming around for your kind hospitality. Bless you for your efforts. I have no doubt Angel Mickey was reaching out to you today via the butterflies. "I'm still here with you mom" wub.gif

I get all my news online now. I haven't had a subscription to the paper since before working at Gannett, and have not missed it a bit. Working there certainly soured me on it for sure.

I hope all is well with you, hubby and the waifs. Thank you so much for checking in on me. I hope you all have a most pleasant evening and weekend. Blessings and TTFN

Hi, Tracy, cloudy sometimes rainy 40-ish degree Caturday greetings to you and your precious princess Theresa and little prince Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious companions doing well and in good spirits.

I'm glad to share your news that you are finally beginning to feel better, and that you were able to get your errands / chores done yesterday so that you could enjoy most of the day enjoying and resting with your precious fur tribe. And I'm glad to share your news they were able to enjoy some balcony time.

Worked on financials this morning while my precious Noah slumbered under blankets. Got most of the April bill payments scheduled online, and finished working on the forms I will need to give to the orthopedist on Wednesday about my health history. As far as I know everything is ready for the appointment now. As I was finishing up my little boy joined me at the big desk top to keep me company. He has had his lunch and mine is on the stove warming. Was also able to get a load of laundry done which is now in the dryer.

Thankfully the forecast has the wet snow staying to the north of the homestead in the higher elevations where the ski resorts are. Light rain is here at the homestead which should be ending sometime tomorrow. No complaints here.

Cloudy, rainy and cold Caturday greetings to you and your precious Noah. Great start to spring huh? I hope this finds you both doing well. Our thoughts and prayers that things go well with your orthopedist. Let me know how it turns out.

Work was a tad busier than usual. Still getting used to the new normal of being added back to the system. I got a ride all the way home tonight because my co-worker and her husband were going to Sam's Club not far from me. After talking to her, it turns out she can be scatter brained and times and just forgets to offer me a ride. And I don't like to assume. So I asked her if I should just ask when we both work Saturday. She said absolutely, you're always welcome.

Theresa and Tang were caught a bit off guard when I walked in the door at 5:45 laugh.gif But in a good way. It's too cold for balcony time and poor Theresa just keeps looking outside, then up at me. She doesn't understand, bless her heart. I think I may have figured out why Tang won't eat his can food sometimes. Seems it's my ladies first serving policy. Tonight I gave him his first (cold from the 'fridge) and he scarfed it down. We'll see if this holds.

I hope today has been kind to you Noah, the bad weather steers clear of you and that you both have a most pleasant evening. TTFN

Hi, Tracy, cloudy sometimes briefly sunny 40-ish Sunday greetings to you and your precious princess Theresa and little prince Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious companions doing well and in good spirits.

I'm so glad your coworker offered you a ride home yesterday, and am glad she wants you to inquire about a ride when you work Caturdays together. This is very good news, and I know it's a lift to your spirit as well. I'm also glad your precious Tang ate his canned food last night, and hope giving him "first serving" is the answer to his sometimes finicky behavior. Please let us know how things go.

Not much going on around the homestead today. My precious Noah and I enjoyed a "sleep in" this morning. He is stretched out in front of his "artificial sunbeam" heater as I'm writing to you.

I hope today is treating you and your precious Theresa and little Tang kindly, my friend, and that you and your precious companions will have a peaceful, blissful, cozy evening. Hello moon_beam. Sunny but colder (49) first day of spring greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope this finds you both doing well.

I woke up this morning on my own about an hour ahead of my alarm. I decided to get up and take care of my pride, then put out food for the waifs; didn't see any today. Came back in and laid down of the couch (with company, of course) until after 9:00. I then decided to have a bite to eat; as salad much to Tang's chagrin. "Daddy, where is the breakfast meat?"

Been a pretty lazy day after that. Channel surfing, but nothing on. Especially since they got rid of H2 in favor of Vice (all illegal drugs, crime, what have you 24/7 - truly disgusting) Spent some time reading and catching up on my rest to start another week in the meat grinder again.

Theresa and Tang are both well. Tang decided to alight on my chest for nap time in the bed. This of course evoked a what the heck type response from Theresa. But I reminded her we already had that snuggle time on the couch this morning. She wasn't impressed or amused. Tang ate his can food again being served first. We'll see how long that lasts.

I hope today has been kind to you and Noah and that you both have a very peaceful evening. TTFN

Hi, Tracy, sunny 40-ish Monday greetings to you and your precious princess Theresa and little prince Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious companions doing well and in good spirits.

I'm glad you and your precious fur tribe had a low key day yesterday - - just to be together without any errand / chore commitments, as well as giving you and opportunity to get some much needed rest to help you in your recovery from the monster crud.

While my precious Noah slumbered under blankets this morning I worked on getting statements filed so that I can see the desk again, payments made so far logged into my ledger, and updated IE from 9 to 11 since IE 9 no longer receives security support from Microsoft - - that transition went smoothly. I need to update my lap top as well. Have a load of laundry in the washer as I'm writing to you, and my precious Noah is keeping me faithful company asking me to send you and your precious fur tribe his best wishes as well.

I know it's difficult enough going back to work after a two-day weekend or extended holiday, but it must feel like you haven't had any time off with a broken weekend - - one day working, one day off, then back to work for consecutive days. I admire your ability to handle this type of schedule, my friend. I know you would prefer a Monday through Friday schedule, and hopefully at some point in time you will be able to get this.

I hope today is treating you kindly at work, my friend, and that your travels are safe, comfortable, and expedient so that you and your precious Theresa and little Tang can have a peaceful, blissful, cozy evening. Hello moon_beam. Sunny, cool but pleasant greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope this finds you both doing well. Glad to hear your tech updates went smoothly.

Yes, it is difficult to have my days off split up on top of the commute hardship on Saturdays (even getting a ride to the bus stop home, I still have the walk in the morning) That's why it's really galling that me and my co-worker have identified at least 4-5 new hires that have M-F schedules. One of whom is an IT guy's wife and told them M-F 8-4:30 or I won't take the job - and they gave it to her blink.gif My co-worker said that one of them that had 7-3:30 was let go for excessive no shows. She tipped me off instead of going after it herself because she said she recognizes my hardship. I emailed my sup, but am not holding my breath. They had a new group in there today REALLY getting the royal treatment. How do they rate when we don't even register as a blip on management's radar? It's disheartening. But I guess I should be used to being considered less than zero.

The bus home was in usual form 12 minutes late. Theresa and Tang were both there to greet me though which always makes me biggrin.gif My streak with Tang and the can food kind of came to an end tonight. He only ate a little of it. But at least he didn't turn his now up at it completely. I suppose that's progress of a sort huh.gif Both are doing well.

I hope today has been kind top you and Noah and that you both have a blissful evening. TTFN

Hi, Tracy, sunny almost 60-ish Tuesday greetings to you and your precious princess Theresa and little prince Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious companions doing well and in good spirits.

It never hurts to "gentle reminder" a supervisor about a potential for a shift change so that YOUR life can hopefully be made just a little bit easier. Your have mentioned your transportation schedule challenges before so doing this again with the new hires and their work schedules is appropriate at this point in time. Please let us know how things go.

Have been busy on the big desk top this morning while my precious Noah snoozed under blankets. Keep thinking of things I need to do for my orthopedic evaluation tomorrow - - printing off information, etc.. My precious Noah joined me as I was finishing up getting the big desk top ready to go through its security scan. He has had his lunch and the timer on the stove is letting me know mine is now ready.

Hello moon_beam. Sunny, windy and pleasant (upper 60s) greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope this finds you both doing well. I hope you have everything you need together for your orthopedic evaluation tomorrow. Let me know how it goes - thoughts and prayers.

Seems you and my co-worker agree about "gentle reminders" Well, not so gentle on her part. I have not sent him a message on Lync to follow my email because his status has been "red" the past 2 days. She said "Lync him anyway, I do" I did wait for him to go "green" though. He apologized for not getting back to me and offered to look at my original request. I saved him the trouble and reiterated any time between 7-6 M-F for the bus to work, and that I'd heard a 7-3:30 was available. He came back with "So 8-4:30 would work?" I said that would be ideal. He said he'd see what he could do. We'll see.

Bus home was 10 minutes late - but a different driver. Nice to know they're all consistent dry.gif Theresa and Tang greeted me at the door though happy.gif Tang ate a little more of his can food tonight and is eating more dry as time goes by. Which is good because I really didn't want him to make a diet of the treats. Both are well. I offered balcony time but they didn't spend long out there. Perhaps the gusty winds put them off.

I hope today has been kind to you and Noah and that you both have a most leasant evening. TTFN

Hi, Tracy, sunny breezy 70-ish Wednesday greetings to you and your precious princess Theresa and little prince Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious companions doing well and in good spirits.

So glad your supervisor got back with you and is attempting to see what he can do about your schedule. I'm keeping you in my thoughts and prayers that you will be able to get a better schedule. Please let us know how things are going.

Sounds like your little Tang is doing better getting back to eating some of the dry food in addition to the canned. I know this takes a huge concern off your mind particularly since he was under the weather and the medication gave him a GI upset. He and his big sister Theresa are so blessed to have you for their diligent, loving Forever Dad.

The orthopedic evaluation went well. More x-rays were taken to try to get a better view of problem areas. What had been suspected as the rod in my femur having punctured the bone was resolved today - - there is no indication on any of the x-rays taken today that the rod has punctured the bone. For this I am very grateful. Through the course of physical examination the doctor's assistant heard and felt the crack and snap in my right hip when she maneuvered my leg, and confirmed the marked weakness in my right leg compared to my left. The doctor did his own examination and found the "hot spots" in my hip and back. He gave me a steroid shot in my right thigh and is setting up a procedure for me to have a steroid shot in my hip with a radiologist using a CT scan to put the shot in the right place. This is supposed to happen in a couple of weeks or so. I asked the doctor if I had somehow managed to have a herniated spinal disc. According to the x-rays he took today, and which he showed me, he stated he could not see anything obvious indicating a problem with my lower spine. He thinks the problem is a very aggravated sciatic nerve, which is already gradually resolving itself but even at this stage could use a little help with some targeted medication to help reduce the present swelling around the nerve. I am to see him again in 6 weeks. So we'll see what happens.

My precious Noah was just a bit upset with no snuggle time this morning - - as was I - - but he was very glad to see me home as I was very glad to get home to him. He has had his lunch and is stretched out in front of his personal space heater very contented as I'm writing to you.

Once again, Tracy, I truly hope and pray that your supervisor will be able to adjust your work schedule so that it is easier on you transportation-wise. Hello moon_beam. Sunny and pleasant greetings to you and your precious Noah. Glad to hear your orthopedic evaluation went well. But it sounds complicated blink.gif Sounds like they ruled out what could have a been a very bad scenario though. I hope the shot helps as well as the follow up. Please let me know how you are doing.

Same old same old at work. No word yet on a possible schedule change, nor am I really expecting any. The bus home was only slightly late and I just barely caught it on the first pass, but I had to run.

Theresa and Tang both met me at the door. Thank you for your encouraging words about Tang's appetite. It is a relief. I offered Balcony time, but only Tang went out briefly. Possibly because Theresa beat him to the bedroom window - no wait. They both just went out, right when I need to be getting my shower (sigh) Both are well.

I hope today has been kind to you and Noah and that you both have a very peaceful evening. TTFN

Hi, Tracy, sunny 60-ish Thursday greetings to you and your precious princess Theresa and little prince Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious companions doing well and in good spirits.

I'm smiling at your precious fur tribe taking balcony time. I know you enjoy seeing them happy. Hope you were able to eventually get your shower.

Thank you for your continued thoughts and prayers regarding my medical challenges. I am very happy with the results of yesterday's appointment. For the first time in 3 months I haven't needed to take any pain medications over the last 24 hours. I already notice a huge improvement in how my leg feels from yesterday's injection - - mobility is much easier today than it has been since this event started last December. I do not expect to be able to do activity on the same level that I did before - - but as long as I can take care of my precious Noah and my daily needs I will be very content.

Not much happening around the homestead today. My precious Noah and I enjoyed a sleep in this morning after his breakfast - - very delightful. He is now looking forward to lunch so will get this off to you.

I hope today is treating you kindly at work, my friend, and that your travels are safe, comfortable, and expedient so that you and your precious Theresa and little Tang can have a peaceful, blissful, cozy evening. Hello moon_beam. Stormy greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope this finds you both doing well. I'm so glad to hear the steroid shot has helped ease your pain. You said you are due another one in 6 weeks. Does that mean it's time released to stay in your system until then? Please let me know how you're doing.

Call volume was higher than normal today but still not back to back. Tier 1 was in rare form today. I managed to stay ahead of the rain waiting for my bus (which was on time) and probably would have continued to do so if I'd not made my Dollar Tree run. It started raining as soon as I headed for the stop for the UPS bis home; which was 5 minutes late. I was drenched and got more so on a longer than anticipated walk home. Seems the driver announced he was going in McDonald's to use the restroom and "would be a while" He never did pass me walking to my stop and then home. So, I'm sure he decided it was dinner break time even though he was late (sigh)

Theresa and Tang met me at the door and I warned them to keep their distance lest they get soaked too. Both are well. Sorry about the brevity, but that trek took it out of me.

I hope today has been kind to you and Noah and that you both have a blissful evening. TTFN

Hi, Tracy, cloudy sometimes sunny 70-ish T G I F greetings to you and your precious princess Theresa and little prince Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious companions doing well and in good spirits.

My friend, getting soaked in the rain walking home was the LAST thing you needed after being so ill. I hope you were able to get a warm shower when you got home, and that you will not have any "relapses" to deal with. Please let us know how you're doing.

Thank you for your continued thoughts and prayers for me with my current health challenges. The injection in my hip is supposed to be scheduled sometime in the next couple of weeks which the doctor's office is arranging. If I don't hear from the doctor's office by Tuesday of next week I will call the office to try to get the date and time of the appointment. My next appointment with the orthopedist is in 6 weeks as a follow up as to how I'm doing.

Not much happening around the homestead today. My precious Noah is doing well and is beginning to let me know that it will soon be time to get some lunch in his bowl.

I hope you have been able to get your chores / errands done quickly so that you and your precious Theresa and little Tang can enjoy most of this day together and will have a peaceful, blissful, cozy evening.

Cloudy and cool greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope this finds you both doing well. So the injection is time released just not that long. I was confused. I hope you don't run into any problems scheduling your next one.

Thankfully it wasn't a "cold" rain (lower/mid 60s) But it didn't help. I immediately got out of my wet clothes and "air dried" while I took care of the evening tasks. Then, yes, I nice hot shower. So far, I'm only dealing with sniffles and a bit of a sinus headache - but that could be any given day.

I had got on Amazon last night to order some more digestive enzymes and took what I thought was a free trial sub to Prime. Turned out to be a paid sub to the tune of 104.94 ohmy.gif But I called got a nice young man who cancelled it and put in a refund to hit after the charge goes through. They even let me keep the 2 day shipping order. I offered to let that be cancelled, but he said no it's OK.

Got up this morning to my alarm and got the laundry on. One washer already going when I got there. But I beat him to my favorite driers and the folding table. Snooze you lose. Took care of my tribe and then out to feed the waifs. I saw Tux up on the fence, Siamese and another one too far away to tell who it was.

Got my shopping done and home by 9:15. They were out of litter but I think I have enough for the week. May stop at Dollar General by my bus stop home tomorrow anyway though.

The rest of the day has been laid back and lazy spending time with Theresa and Tang whom are both doing well. I hope today has been kind to you and Noah and that you both have a most pleasant evening. TTFN

Hi, Tracy, cloudy 40-ish Caturday greetings to you and your precious princess Theresa and little prince Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious companions doing well and in good spirits.

I hope you will not suffer any ill effects from the drenching you got on your way home Thursday evening. Hope the "sniffles" are only of the normal variety. Please let us know how you're doing.

So glad you were able to get your chores / errands done quickly yesterday and were able to see some of the waifs during your provisioning. I know you like to see them to make sure they're still with you and doing relatively well under your care and protection.

Have been working on the big desk top some this morning while my precious boy slumbers under blankets. Placed an order online for stamps with the USPS and was pleasantly surprised they accept PayPal. First time I have ordered stamps online - - need them but don't want to ask for transportation assistance just to go to the post office for stamps. I'm hoping by sometime in April I will feel up to trying to drive again - - starting with short local errands. Noah will need a medical check up as well sometime in April / May time frame - - so I definitely want to be able to drive him to his doctor's appointment by then. Not much else happening around the homestead today.

Sunny and pleasant Caturday greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope this finds you both doing well. Glad to hear you could get stamps online. I know that must be very convenient.

Thanks for asking after my health. So far so good (knock wood) Well, they are playing musical chairs at work. My old desk will be a lead's, and mine is in the center of the next row - with people on either side of me unsure.gif I emailed my sup today to PLEASE see if he can get me an end seat. One of the newbs threw a fit about being seated by a certain person, and they relented. Least they could do for me dry.gif

My ride tonight was another offer of all the way home since they were going to Sam's. Since Save a Lot was out of litter yesterday and I forgot the antacid, I was invited to come along. I got a 42 LB tub of litter for 9.97! I pay 3.99 for just a 14 LB at Save a Lot. Not very good at math, but I'm pretty sure that was a great deal. And now I won't need litter (saving room in my cart) for a LONG time. And I still got home 10 minutes earlier than taking the bus.

Theresa and Tang both met me at the door happy.gif and gave double takes to the huge tub of litter laugh.gif Since it's so nice, I let them out for some balcony time. Both are well.

I hope today has been kind to you and Noah and that you both have a very peaceful evening. TTFN

Hi, Tracy, cloudy dampish coolish Easter Sunday greetings to you and your precious princess Theresa and little prince Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious companions doing well and in good spirits.

So glad you were able to get a ride home with your coworker yesterday, and were able to get needed supplies at Sam's. I think you got a GREAT deal on the kitty litter, and not having to buy it for awhile is also a bonus.

Sorry your seat arrangement has changed, and hope you are able to get an end seat as you requested - - so that you won't have to be scooting behind chairs during your breaks. Please let us know how things go.

Not much happening around the homestead today. My precious Noah is doing well. He is settled comfortably next to me keeping me company as I'm writing to you. No sunbeams today to enjoy through the big windows. With temps on the coolish dampish side I may turn on the new space heater for extra warmth.

I hope today is treating you and your precious Theresa and little Tang kindly, my friend, and that you and your precious companions will have a peaceful, blissful, cozy evening.
