Hi, Tracy, sunny warmer 50-ish T G I F greetings to you, your precious prince Tang, and Anne. I hope this finds each of you doing well and in good spirits.
So glad you and Anne had a good Thanksgiving Day yesterday, and hope your precious Tang enjoyed his portions of the feast as well. Am also glad you saw Tux Jr yesterday during your provisioning, and add my thought and prayers to yours that all of the community waifs are doing well and safe.
Have been working on a couple of memorial projects for my beloved Noah today and am happy with the way they are turning out. Still need to do more work on them before they're done. Tomorrow will be focused on scheduling online bill payments for December. I can hardly wait for this year to be over, yet it is the last year that my beloved Noah and I shared together during his earthly journey, and for this I wish this year would never end. The prospects of a "new year" right now hold more apprehension than anticipation without my beloved Noah physically here by my side. But the world marches on without regard to anyone's sorrow, and I must continue my earthly journey as best I can in honor of my sweet beloved baby boy. My lunch is in the final stages of cooking on the stove so should get this off to you.
As always it's a blessing sharing your news that your precious Tang is doing well. I hope today is treating you, your precious Tang, and Anne kindly, my friend, and that you, your precious prince Tang, and Anne can have a blissful, peaceful, cozy evening blessed with your beloved Sir Thomas' and princess Theresa's sweet Living Spirits to comfort you. I thank you for the blessing of your friendship, Tracy, and of your precious Tang. Please know you and your precious boy are in my thoughts and prayers, and that I always look forward to knowing how you, your precious prince Tang, and Anne are doing, along with the community waifs, and to sharing your treasured memories of your beloved Sir Thomas and princess Theresa.

Hello moon_beam. Sunny and mild (59) greetings to you. I hope this finds you doing as well as you can be. I can certainly understand your mixed feelings about 2017 and your apprehension about 2018

This morning White Cat was my only taker, and I would have missed her had I not glanced into the pool area. I hope the others are faring OK.
Today we literally only took one call (each) - it was that dead. Fortunately, they let us have VTO at noon and let us use our floating holiday time to pay for it since those don't roll over to next year. Anne and I had to drive around a bit to find a restaurant that wasn't crowded to have lunch, we finally settled on Famous Dave's.
We will be going back toward my place in a bit after picking up our weekly "staples". Tang did indeed devour a plateful of turkey I gave him just before enjoying our leftovers

He is doing well.
I hope today has been as kind to you as possible and that you have a comfortable evening surrounded by the living, loving spirits of your fur angels. Peace and Blessings.

Hi, Tracy, sunny decent 60-ish Caturday greetings to you, your precious prince Tang, and Anne. I hope this finds each of you doing well and in good spirits.
So glad you and Anne got an early release yesterday and that you will be paid for the time off. Glad you finally found a restaurant that you and Anne could enjoy lunch, and am so smiling about your precious Tang "devouring" his serving of turkey. I can just see him licking his face with delight afterward.
Have been working on scheduling the online bill payments as well as beginning working on the annual family Christmas cards and newsletter. They're getting store bought cards this year as I don't have the time - - or interest - - in working on personalizing printable cards from the internet. I will be very glad when the holidays are over. I"m never fond of the holidays to begin with, and this year is especially no exception.
Need to start getting something on the stove cooking for my lunch, so will get this off to you. Hello moon_beam. Sunny ans pleasant (62) greetings to you. I hope this finds you feeling OK today.
Little Gray was my only waif during the actual feedings, but I had some interaction with Bobtail later during the course of my laundry. I hope the others are doing OK.
I saw what you said about your tribute to your precious angel Noah on you other post. I am sure the picture collage will be very nice.
Not much going on here today. Tang has been having some sneezing fits yet his eyes, ears and breathing are all normal

So, I have a 9:00 drop off scheduled for him at Banfield tomorrow. Hopefully just allergies or something. I'll let you know how it goes.
I hope today has been as kind as possible to you today and that you have a peaceful evening surrounded by the living, loving spirits of your fur angels. Peace and Blessings.

Hi, Tracy, sunny cold 50-ish Sunday greetings to you, your precious prince Tang, and Anne. I hope this finds each of you doing well and in good spirits.
I hope all is well with your precious Tang, my friend. Will look forward to knowing how his appointment goes today.
So glad you saw Little Gray and Bobtail during your provisioning / travels yesterday. It's always a blessing sharing your news as to how the community waifs are doing.
Not much happening around the homestead today. Taking a breather from the big computer today from the bill-a-thon "marathon" yesterday of scheduling online payments as well as working on my beloved Noah's memorial. I may change the format as I've been thinking about adding a few things - - it's still a "work in progress" as the saying goes. This week is going to be a busy one medical appointment-wise. Tomorrow I need to drive into the city to my rheumatologist's office for blood tests. Tuesday I have my remicade infusion, so I won't be online at all Tuesday. Thursday I have my routine dental cleaning - - finally at last after having to cancel my previously scheduled appointments this year. I really need to keep this appointment. So if I'm not online tomorrow and / or Thursday, in addition to Tuesday, you'll know why.
As always, I hope today is treating you, your precious Tang, and Anne kindly, my friend, and that you, your precious prince Tang, and Anne can have a blissful, peaceful, cozy evening blessed with your beloved Sir Thomas' and princess Theresa's sweet Living Spirits to comfort you.

Sunny and mild (56) greetings to you. I hope this finds you doing OK today. What ever you finally decided on for your precious Noah's memorial, I'm sure it will be most fitting. Please let us know how things go with your medical appointments. Thoughts and prayers.
This morning's provisioning was a complete shut out, so I hope the waifs are doing OK
It turns out Tang has the beginnings of a cold, so the vet gave me 2 bottles of antibiotic liquid. Otherwise he's doing OK. Aside from being miffed at having to go to the vet

We took him home a few hours ago after we had a nice lunch.
We are at Anne's place now while she provisions for tonight and the week. I hope today has been as kind as possible to you and that you have a warm and pleasant evening. Peace and Blessings.

Hi, Tracy, sunny chilly 50-ish Monday greetings to you, your precious prince Tang, and Anne. I hope this finds each of you doing well and in good spirits.
It's a good thing you took your precious boy to see his doctor, for as you know colds can turn quickly into upper respiratory infections which can be a very serious situation. I know your precious Tang is in the best of care with the diligence of his Forever Dad. Please let us know how he's doing.
Thank you for your always welcome comforting support as I continue my grief adjustment journey coupled with ongoing medical appointments. My drive into the rheumatologist's office went okay. I waited until after the school bus rush to start my journey and that worked out quite well - - no congested traffic to contend with. And the same was true on my drive back home. The entire event took 3 hours. Received a call from the infusion clinic about 30 minutes ago confirming my appointment for tomorrow - - so I know I'm still on their schedule. I'll let you know how things go tomorrow as soon as I can. Need to get some lunch cooking on the stove so will get this off to you.
Hello moon_beam. Sunny and mild (59) greetings to you. I hope this finds you doing OK today. I'm glad you were able to get to your appointments and hope they will garner some good news about you health.
This morning's feeding brought out Tux Jr at the 2nd spot along the fence and Bobtail, oddly enough, in front of the office.
Today at work it was a mad house. Back to back to back calls literally until 5:00 when the phones shut down. And just about every weird situation that could come up did (sigh) But it's over now.
Tang met me at the door as usual. He's had his supper, shot and medicine. He's chilling in the bedroom window as I post this. I hope today has been as kind as possible to you and that you have a cozy and comfortable evening. Peace and Blessings

Hi, Tracy, sunny decent 60-ish Wednesday greetings to you, your precious prince Tang and Anne. I hope this finds each of you doing well and in good spirits.
Sounds like you had a very busy day on Monday and hope yesterday was calmer for you. Just 2 more days of your training schedule and then you'll be "on your own" - - which I hope won't be literally - - that you'll be able to seek assistance from your supervisor as you need it.
Yesterday was a full day at the infusion center. My brother drove me there in my car as my car has the handicap license plates. The center is moving to another location the end of this week so my next appointment will be at their new facility just about 5 miles further down the road. The "sad" thing about this center is that it does not permit family members in the treatment room, unlike the philosophy of encouraging family members to be present during treatment at the hematology center. So my brother had to wait in the lobby for the 3 hours I was having treatment - - which saddened me a lot - - for the both of us.
I have a week off from medical appointments / treatments next week. My next round of appointments begins 12/12 with my bone density test in Rocky Mount, then 12/13 I have my next infusion treatment. Then my next infusion treatment after that will be sometime in January, if I understand the schedule correctly. I guess I'll find out as I go along.
This morning I worked on my beloved Noah's memorial, and have it in finished format. Now all I need to do is print it out. Need to make up a mailing list of folks who I know would like to receive what I'm doing for my precious beloved Noah. Finished the morning working on financials - - so I'm just about ready to shut down this high technology gizmo and get myself something to eat.
As always it's a blessing sharing your news that your precious Tang is doing well, and that the community waifs still let you know they sincerely appreciate your most gracious and dedicated provisioning. Hello moon_beam. Sunny and mild (55) greetings to you hoping this finds you doing OK. That is sad about them not letting your brother in with you

What a stupid rule but I hope your tests come back with favorable results. The memorial for your precious Noah sounds just lovely too.
This morning while provisioning I saw Tux Jr, Bobtail and Little Gray. I hope the others are doing OK as well.
Work yesterday and today wasn't nearly as bad. Sure it was steady, but we had actual time to breath between calls which was nice.
Tang met me at the door as usual. He's had his supper and shots. The antibiotics seems to be helping with the sneezing as well as the dental rinse in his water. He's chilling in the bedroom window that's open. He seems well.
I hope today has been as kind as possible to you and that you have a comfortable evening. Peace and Blessings

Hi, Tracy, cloudy, chilly 50-ish Thursday greetings to you, your precious prince Tang, and Anne. I hope this finds each of you doing well and in good spirits.
I'm so very glad to share your news that your precious boy is doing better with the antibiotics. I know this takes a huge concern off your mind. He is so blessed to have you for his Forever Dad.
The biggest news here is my dental appointment today. It went better than I thought it would, which is good news. Got home a few minutes before my volunteer called to let me know she was on her way to come help me with the trash can and get my mail. This was very helpful today. Otherwise things are status quo.
I'm glad things at work were calmer for you over the past couple of days, and hope that continues. Hello moon_beam. Rainy and cool (52) greetings to you. I hope this finds you doing well today. I'm glad to hear that your dental appointment went well.
This morning while putting out the food I saw Tux Jr down by the 2nd area as well as Bobtail, White Cat and Little Gray by the 3rd. I have not Seen Siamese by the first spot all week so I hope she is doing OK.
Today was a bit busier at work. Or maybe it just seemed that way because they took about half the people off the floor for some training

But just one more day to go before another weekend.
Tang met me at the door as usual. He's had his medicine, supper and shot. I last saw him lounging on the bed

He seems to be doing well.
I hope today has been kind to you and that you have a pleasant and relaxing evening surrounded by the living, loving spirits of your fur babies. Peace and Blessings.

Hi, Tracy, sunny cool 60-ish T G I F greetings to you, your precious prince Tang, and Anne. I hope this finds each of you doing well and in good spirits.
Today is your and Anne's last day of training, and hope it will be one that you can celebrate as you look forward to beginning your regular jobs on Monday. Please let us know how things go.
So glad you saw some of the regular waifs during your provisioning yesterday, and add my thoughts and prayers that Siamese and all the community waifs are safe. It's always a blessing sharing your news as to how they're doing.
Today has been one of many chores and projects. I'm cleaning the vinyl insert to one of the private latrines hoping that it will be suitable for someone to use. I tried looking for a replacement insert but the company who manufactured this latrine is no longer making this model - - so there are no replacement parts available. Have also been working on financials a bit and ordered a couple of things online that I need. Checked the status of delivery of the materials for Noah's memorial bookmarks and discovered they were delivered late yesterday by the postal carrier, so I made a trek to the mailbox to get them. It was the first time I felt able to make the walk in a couple of weeks, so I guess the remicade infusion is helping. Worked a bit on Christmas cards as well, so I've got my projects to keep me busy. Finally getting some lunch warming so will get this off to you.
Hello moon_beam. Sunny and mild (50) greetings to you. I hope this finds you doing well. I'm glad to hear your medication seems to be getting the job done in regard to your walk to the mailbox. I'm sure you were glad to get your precious Noah's memorial bookmarks, although I can imagine it was bittersweet. Our thoughts are always with you.
I didn't see any waifs this morning

Total shutout. I hope they are doing OK.
We haven't been in training for 2 weeks for all intents and purposes. But it does seem to be getting a little easier. Thank goodness it's over for another week.
Tang met me at the door as usual. He's had the last of his medicine, his insulin shot and his supper. Although he didn't seem to have much of an appetite. But antibiotics will do that. At least he's not sneezing much anymore. He seems well otherwise.
I hope today has been as kind as possible to you my friend and that you have a pleasant evening surrounded by the loving, living spirits of your precious fur angels. Peace and Blessings.

Hi, Tracy, cloudy chilly 50-ish Caturday greetings to you, your precious prince Tang, and Anne. I hope this finds each of you doing well and in good spirits.
Glad things are smoothing out for you at work - - at least a little bit. May this job be a decent one for you. Please let us know how things go.
The biggest news for today is that the gentleman who is helping me with some things here around the house came this afternoon for about 45 minutes. He picked up the two carpets off the floor that had been here for 20 years, and were in need of being sent to the dump. I kept them on the floor for my furkids. He also took the three carpeted kitty litter privacy boxes up to the garage for me so that they will be there when I'm ready to take them to the vet's office. I'm taking her a lot of things that I hope she will be able to use, or have her clients use. After he left it was time for me to start getting some lunch. Just finished it a little bit ago and wanted to get this off to you so that you wouldn't wonder if I'm okay.
As always, it's a blessing to share your news that your precious Tang is doing well, and I continue to keep the community waifs in my thoughts and prayers that they are safe. Hello moon_beam. Sunny and mild (53) Caturday greetings to you. I hope this finds you as well as can be expected. I also read about the carpet and litter box removal in your other thread. My heart aches and breaks for you my friend

Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
The waif population was a little more active today. Siamese finally made an appearance at the first spot looking none the worse for wear. Ditto Tux Jr at the second spot. Little Gray, White Cat and Bobtail rounded out the group at the third spot. When I was waiting for the fluff cycle of my clothes in the dryer, Bobtail started to pounce on White Cat under a car, but she turned the tables and chased him up the stairs of one of the buildings to the roof of a utility shed attached to it. There was no fighting but it made them look look like an arguing old married couple.
Not much going on around here today. Anne and I just had lunch and did some running around. We are back here now where Tang has had his supper and shot. He's not sneezing anymore after the depletion of the first bottle of medicine. Since it was upsetting his tummy so badly, I'm going to hold off on the second bottle. Over all he seems well.
I hope today has been as kind as possible to you today and that you have a relaxing evening embraced by the living, loving spirits of your fur angels. Peace and Blessings.

Hi, Tracy, sunny coolish 60-ish Sunday greetings to you, your precious prince Tang, and Anne. I hope this finds each of you doing well and in good spirits.
I'ms so smiling at your account of White Cat and Bobtail. I can just envision White Cat saying, "oh no you don't, Bobtail - - you're not going to get me this time." And how surprised Bobtail must have been to have the tables turned. I'm so glad you saw more of the community waifs out and about yesterday, which I know is a concern off your mind. My thoughts and prayers are with the tribe that they are safe.
I'm also glad to share your news that your precious Tang is doing much better - - no sneezing is always a good sign. Your decision to hold off on the second bottle of medicine is a wise one since it is upsetting your precious boy's tummy. I know he is under the best of care with you as his Forever Dad. Please let us know how he's doing.
Have just been working on "this and that" projects. Got the rest of the Christmas cards ready to go to the post office tomorrow. Will also need to make a trek to the bank and maybe to Kroger to pick up a few necessities. Also want to make a stop at Goodwill to drop off some items for them. So ti's going to be a busy day tomorrow. Want to get as much done as I can since the weather report is calling for rain most of Tuesday and temps are forecasted to become quite cold from mid-week forward. I'm so not looking forward to colder temps to become the norm over the next 3 months.
Thank you, Tracy, for your continued comforting support and encouragement in my grief adjustment journey. This truly means a lot to me. Hello moon_beam. Sunny and mild (61) greetings to you. I hope this finds you doing better today. I know what you mean about the weather. Tomorrow it's supposed to be 68 but by Saturday only 30
This morning I only saw Little Gray and Bobtail down by the third area. I guess White Cat decided to sleep in

I hope she and the others are doing OK.
It has been a fairly low key day for Anne and I. We used a 5.99 coupon to split a tasty Rubin foot long sandwich from Subway while doing laundry and watching Rifftrax.
I'm keeping an eye on the tail end of the laundry while she is down the road at her parent's. It seems they found her old Cabbage Patch dolls as well as an old Sega console with a lot of pre-loaded games on it.
Tang was doing fine and in pretty good spirits when we left this morning. I can't wait to get back to him and settle in. I hope today has been as kind as possible to you and that you have a comforting evening surrounded my the living, loving and eternal spirits of your fur angels. Peace and Blessings.

Hi, Tracy, sunny pleasant 50-ish Monday greetings to you, your precious prince Tang, and Anne. I hope this finds each of you doing well and in good spirits.
I'm smiling at you and Anne splitting a sandwich from Subway. When I wasn't able to go into restaurants to eat my brother would get sandwiches from Subway and we'd come here to eat them. I almost became "addicted" to the sandwiches. Will you be able to use the old Sega console with the pre-loaded games on your TV's? What will Anne do with her Cabbage Patch doll collection?
Today has been busy with several errands: to the bank, to Goodwill, to the special trash site, to the post office, and - - to Kroger. I had a gift card that can only be used inside the store - - it can't be used with the ClickList service. I had a few items I wanted and needed to get, so I slowly navigated into the store from the parking lot and used one of the large grocery carts as my "rolling walker." I managed to get the items I wanted into the cart and onto the check out counter, and asked for help getting the groceries out to and into the car. The cart I had been using for Noah's litter supplies I took upstairs to now - - and once again - - use for the groceries. The last time it was used for groceries was 2 years ago about this time of year when it turned out to be my last grocery errand due to the onset of painful health challenges. Have gotten the groceries sorted into their storage spaces, and am now taking a rest writing to you. In awhile it will be time to start getting some lunch cooking so will get this off to you.
As always, it's a blessing to share your news that your precious Tang is doing well, and I continue to keep the community waifs in my thoughts and prayers that they are safe. This morning I only saw Little Gray while putting the food out. I hope the others are doing OK. Anne says we can use the Sega console with just about any TV. She only has the one doll and I guess she's keeping it.
Work was not as bad as last Monday, but it was still pretty bad. From 3:30 on it was back to back (sigh) At least it's over for today.
Tang met me at the door as usual. He's had his supper and shot. His appetite seems to be returning to normal slowly but surely.
I hope today has been as kind as possible to you and that you have a peaceful evening. Peace and Blessings.

Hi, Tracy, sunny pleasant 60-ish Tuesday greetings to you, your precious prince Tang, and Anne. I hope this finds each of you doing well and in good spirits.
I'm so glad to share your news that your precious Tang's appetite is improving since being off the medication. That stuff - - although wonderful to have to remedy the illness - - can certainly do a "number" on the appetite. It's always a blessing knowing that your precious boy is doing well.
I'm also glad the Sega console will work with your TV so now you can add the games on it for your entertainment pleasure - - as you see fit.
Have been busy with various projects this morning. When the carpets were removed there now lingers 20 years of grime and grit that worked its way through the carpets onto the tile floor, so now there is the project of removing these many collected layers that have stuck to the tile. I tried the swiffer wet mop heads this morning and that has helped but it isn't getting down to the nitty gritty layer. So I have put together one of those scrub bristle mops that I got from the hardware store a couple of years ago and am going to try that at some point in time. This may be a good reason to invest in one of those steam mops that reportedly steam away the grit and grime. I'll wait and see what the bristle mop does with good old fashioned soap and water. Done a load of laundry - - Noah's soft fleece throw and the blankets in his travel crate and stroller. I wanted them clean before I put them away. And of course the trip upstairs to take the trash to the trash bin. So it's been busy here for me, and am now taking some rest time before I need to begin thinking about getting something to eat.
I hope it does not get too burdensome. I can imagine the sadness you felt washing Noah's things to put them away. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Even though I expected to see no waifs this morning due to the rain, I saw Bobtail and Little Gray. Perhaps the rain kept them from their other sources of food. I hope the others are doing OK.
Work was busy for a Tuesday because at least 4 people that we know of called in sick. These people "hang" outside work, so I doubt it was coincidence

But at least it's over now.
Tang met me at the door when I got in. He's had his supper and shot and is settling in. He seems to be well. I hope today has been as kind as possible to you and that you have a warm and comfortable evening surrounded by the eternally loving spirits of your precious fur angels. Peace and Blessings.

Hi, Tracy, cloudy chilly 40-ish Wednesday greetings to you, your precious prince Tang, and Anne. I hope this finds each of you doing well and in good spirits.
If the coworkers who called in sick truly were sick, I'm glad they weren't there at work exposing you to whatever was ailing them. I hope you will have a healthy "flu season" in that you won't be a victim of whatever illness is circulating at the time.
So glad you saw Bobtail and Little Gray yesterday during your provisioning. They must have wanted to brave the elements to let you know they are still there and sincerely appreciative of your devoted care for them and all of the community waifs.
Have been working on financials this morning - - the never ending chore. I'm in the market for a steam mop which supposedly will help remove the layers of collected crud off the tile floor. Haven't made a decision yet about which one to buy, though. I have a $25 Amazon gift card I can use toward the purchase of it -- just want to get the best value of the gift card against the purchase price. Otherwise life here is status quo. It is getting time for me to get some lunch cooking on the stove so will get this off to you.
I'm always glad to share your news that your precious Tang is doing well.

Sunny but cool (44) greetings to you. I hope this finds you doing well today. I hope you can get a good steam mop that will meet your needs.
This morning was a shutout with the waifs - nary a one

I hope they are doing OK
Work today was not bad. We had some spurts, but we had some big gaps in between calls for the most part. Three days down and 2 to go. We found out we are starting our Saturday rotation next week (12/16) but st least we both work. Unfortunately, we have different weekdays off though. Oh well. Could be worse.
Tang met me at the door as usual when I got in. He's had his supper and shot. He is settled in on the sofa and seems to be doing well.
I hope today has been as kind to you as possible and that you have a warm and comfortable evening. TTFN

Hi, Tracy, sunny chilly 40-ish Thursday greetings to you, your precious prince Tang, and Anne. I hope this finds each of you doing well and in good spirits.
Will you and Anne be working every Saturday now? It's a bummer you won't have the same days off, but I'm sure you can figure out a way to compensate for this. Will you have Christmas and New Year's Days off?
This morning I had an errand to run to the pharmacy to pick up a couple of prescriptions. It's nice to be able to do these types of things again. I'm hoping this will be a continuing trend with the medication I'm on. Not much else happening today. Trying to get caught up on some emails. My volunteer will be here later this afternoon to help me with a couple of things. Otherwise not much else happening here today.
I'm always glad to share your news that your precious Tang is doing well, and am keeping the community waifs in my thoughts and prayers that each of them are safe. Hello moon_beam. Sunny but cold (31) greetings to you. I hope this finds you doing well today. I hope these new meds will be helpful.
This morning was another now show for all the waifs

I hope they are doing OK. At least the foods getting eaten as well as the canned I do in the evenings.
We don't work every Saturday it's a rotation. Anne said her sup said 2 a month. I hope we get the same ones. Today wasn't bad. It was more like how Wednesdays usually are.
Tang met me at the door as usual. He's had his supper and shot and is currently chilling on the bed. He seems to be doing well. I hope today has been as kind as possible to you and that you have a warm and comfortable evening surrounded by the loving spirits of your fur angels. Peace and Blessings

Hi, Tracy, cloudy cold 30-ish T G I F greetings to you, your precious prince Tang, and Anne. I hope this finds each of you doing well and in good spirits.
I'm glad your rotation for Saturday's is only two a month. That's good news, and I'm keeping you and Anne in my thoughts and prayers that your days will be the same. Please let us know how things go.
I can understand your concern about the community waifs when you don't see any of them for two days in a row. But the food is being eaten and that's hopeful that the tribe members are doing okay. It's always a blessing sharing your news as to how they're doing.
Have been working on the never ending financials today - - had a couple of bill payments to schedule online. Have also been working on mailing labels for my beloved Noah's memorial, and you are included. Will probably be getting things together to start mailing out after the first of the year. Otherwise it's a quiet day here. We've got a winter weather advisory here beginning around 4 p.m. today and lasting through early evening tomorrow. The last forecast I saw had the potential for accumulating snow around 2 to 4 inches in the homestead area. I'm so hoping this is not the case. However, the gentleman who does some work around the house said he would be here if I needed him to do snow removal. So we'll what happens. The temps are supposed to stay cold afterward so it may take several days for any melting to occur. I hope this isn't how the rest of the winter will be - - I'm so hoping for a "winter weather free" winter. Hope can spring eternal sometimes.
Hello moon_beam. Sunny but cold (331) TGIF greetings to you. I hope this finds you faring OK. I'm sure the memorial for your precious Angel Noah will be lovely. It's a new normal for me too. Sometimes I have to stop and check myself when I'm doing the greetings here now

I finally saw Siamese this morning while putting out the food. At least that's something. I hope the others are faring well.
Work today was slow for a Friday, but not enough for VTO. Anne and I put in for an early release the Friday before xmas - she got approved and I did not which is ironic since I did the leg work and told her what she needed to do. Oh well. We tried 12/26 too and got shot down. VTO is a possibility for both days though.
Tang met me at the door when I got home as usual. He's been fed and had his shot. He was chilling on the bed last I looked. He seems well.
I hope today has been as kind as possible to you and that you have a warm and comfortable evening surrounded by the loving spirtits of your fur angels. Peace and Blessings.

Hi, Tracy, snowy cold 30-ish Caturday greetings to you, your precious prince Tang, and Anne. I hope this finds each of you doing well and in good spirits.
Sorry that you weren't given Christmas Eve off so that you and Anne could spend it together. Hopefully you'll be able to get VTO time, though. Please let us know how things go.
I know how you feel when you share with me "It's a new normal for me too. Sometimes I have to stop and check myself when I'm doing the greetings here now". I, too, have to correct myself when I'm doing the greetings.
I'm glad you saw Siamese yesterday during your provisioning, and am keeping the community tribe in my thoughts and prayers that they're safe. Please let us know how they're doing.
The big news is that we are receiving some snow but it's not as bad here at the homestead as it had been predicted to be. There's a nice covering on the ground but it's not impacting the driveway which is my primary concern. Temps are forecasted to be in the 40's by Monday which will be helpful to warm things up a bit before I have to drive to the hospital in Rocky Mount on Tuesday, 12/12, for my bone density test. Otherwise it's a quiet day here at the homestead trying to get caught up on some of my emails.
It's always a blessing to share your news that your precious Tang is doing well. Hello moon_beam. Snowy (just flurries that aren't sticking) and cold (33) Caturday greetings to you. I hope this finds you doing well.
Anne and I do have Christmas Eve off as it's on a Sunday. Just would have been nice to leave eraly that Fridat and have the day after off.
It was another "shut out" doing the morning provisioning. I didn't even see Bobtail while doing my laundry. I hope he and the others are OK
We didn't do much today but go out for lunch and run errands. We did check out a Peddlers Mall that was in the neighborhood of the Walmart where we shopped for dinner and the weekly staples.
Tang was in good spirits when we left and I am looking forward to getting home to him. I hope today has been as kind as possible to you and that you have a warm and comfortable evening. Peace and Blessings.

Hi, Tracy, sunny cold 30-ish melting Sunday greetings to you, your precious prince Tang, and Anne. I hope this finds each of you doing well and in good spirits.
I'm keeping the community waifs in my thoughts and prayers that they are safe and okay, too. I know how concerned you get when you don't see them - - not even an "elected ambassador" waiting for you. Please let us know how they're doing.
Not much happening here on the homestead agenda for today. This week will get busy enough come Tuesday and Wednesday. For the most part will just be doing odds and ends type projects such as sorting through things to take to the special trash bins, Goodwill, etc., to keep me busy.
It's always a blessing to share your news that your precious Tang is doing well. Hello moon_beam. Sunny and cool (42) greetings to you. I hope this finds you faring well.
This morning was better in regard to the waifs. I saw Siamese skittering down the path walking toward the first spot along the fence, being quite vocal too. Then, speaking of vocal, I heard before I saw White Cat sitting on the grassy hill by the gym. Then in the bushes I saw Tux Jr. He came down to eat eventually, but he seemed spooked. I guess something happened over the past few days. I just hope they are no worse for wear.
We didn't do much today. We picked up a sandwich for lunch then stopped at Kroger to get things for lunches and dinners this week. We both work Saturday, but she's off Wednesday and I'm off Thursday. Oh well.
Tang was in pretty good spirits this morning when we left. I guess he was still in heaven from the chicken quarters we had for dinner last night and shared with him. The package had 4 quarters rather than the usual 3 so that and the leftover stuffing and green beans will be supper tonight. I'm sure Tang will be pleased
I hope today has been kind to you as much as possible my friend and that you have a warm and comfortable evening surrounded by the eternally loving spirits of you fur angels. Peace and Blessings.

Hi, Tracy, sunny decent 40-ish Monday greetings to you, your precious prince Tang, and Anne. I hope this finds each of you doing well and in good spirits.
So glad you saw some of the regular community waifs yesterday during your provisioning. I'm smiling at White Cat and Siamese greeting you "hey, good benefactor, we're still here!" Also glad you saw Tux Jr as well. Hope Tux Sr is okay, it seems it's been awhile since you've mentioned seeing him. Am keeping all the community tribe in my thoughts and prayers, and always look forward to sharing your news as to how they're doing.
It's a bummer you and Anne don't have the same days off this week, but it's nice that you work together on Saturday. Also glad to know that your precious Tang is well and enjoying his share of the "goodies" from your and Anne's dinner.
Felt up to doing a little bit more cleaning work on the tile floor area where the big rug had been. Have a scrub brush that can attach to a long handle which I have so got some warm water in a small bucket and poured a little bit on the floor and then mixed in some Dawn dish soap and - - voila - - the scrub brush worked like a charm. Didn't require a lot of hard scrubbing to get the grit off the floor. Then I got the swiffer wet mops and put them on the mop I have and went over the area I had scrubbed and that also helped to get a lot of the residue off. So I'm hoping the steam mop I get will be able to do a more uniform cleaning. We'll see what happens. This is the "big activity" of the day. Am taking the rest of the day "off" from cleaning.
Although it's only in the 40's today it feels quite balmy outside compared to the 30-ish degree weather we had over the weekend. Can't get used to it, though, as temps are supposed to be quite cold tomorrow and Wednesday - - just in time for me having to brave the elements for medical procedures. Thankfully most of the snow has disappeared. Temps are supposed to return to "heat wave" 50-ish levels come the weekend. That will be nice.

This morning I saw Tux Jr, Siamese and White Cat. And tonight I saw Bobtail and White Cat while checking mail. I thought Bobtail was following me but I think he was trying to get away from White Cat again
Work was actually kind of slow today - especially for a Monday. But I'm not complaining. At least it's over now.
Tang met me at the door as usual and he's had his supper and shot. He seems to be doing well. I hope today has been as kind as possible to you and that you have a warm and comfortable evening surrounded by the eternally loving spirits of your fur angels. Peace and Blessings.

Hi, Tracy, cloudy cold windy 40-ish Tuesday greetings to you, your precious prince Tang, and Anne. I hope this finds each of you doing well and in good spirits.
So glad you saw some of the regular community waifs during your provisioning / travels yesterday. It's always a blessing to share your news that the tribe seems to faring okay with you as their benefactor. Please continue to let us know how they're doing.
Got back from my bone density test and did a couple of errands on the way home. The test went smoothly and hope to have the results back in a week or so - - hopefully before Christmas. Was able to get in and out of the hospital using my cane instead of my walker, as my cane is much easier to handle than my walker. Not much else happening around the homestead here today. Will take it easy the rest of the day as I have my infusion tomorrow. Probably won't be online tomorrow, so just want to give you a "heads up" on that so that you won't be concerned.
Hi, Tracy, sunny blustery cold 40-ish Thursday greetings to you, your precious prince Tang, and Anne. I hope this finds each of you doing well and in good spirits.
I'm sorry your precious Tang had an upset tummy Tuesday evening and hope he's doing better. I know how worrisome it is when our fur kids have upset tummies or show other signs of not normal behaviors but nothing yet tangible enough to warrant a trip to the doctor. Please let us know how your precious boy is doing.
Glad you saw Tux Jr and White Cat Tuesday during your provisioning. Perhaps they were commenting on how cold it was. I'm keeping all of the community tribe in my thoughts and prayers that they are well, and always look forward to knowing how they're doing.
Yesterday was a full day, and a cold blustery one as well. My warm blooded brother actually had a coat on yesterday so that tells you just how cold it was. The infusion went smoothly, and my brother and I got a couple of sandwiches from Subway and brought them here to enjoy and share some conversation. Today so far has been spent getting caught up on a ton of emails and some financials, as well as making an unplanned trip to the pharmacy to pick up a couple of prescriptions. Received a call from my rheumatologist's office late yesterday afternoon letting me know that the results of my bone density scan definitely shows I have osteoporosis and am in a high risk for bone fracture. So the rheumatologist has prescribed a new medication to help reduce that risk. I also needed a refill on my methotrexate so I called that in earlier this morning and was able to pick up both prescriptions around 10:15 a.m.. So we'll see what happens with the new medication.
My regular volunteer will be here in about an hour to help with the trash and a couple of other chores, so will need to start getting my lunch on the stove warming before she comes. I always eat after she's been here.
Hello moon_beam. Cloudy and cool (35) greetings to you. I hope this finds you doing well. I'm sorry to hear about your osteoporosis

I hope the treatments are helpful in fighting it. Thoughts and prayers.
Tux Jr was the only waif I saw this morning. Both through the course of doing my laundry and coming back from the store later (I sat on the planter and visited him) I hope the others are OK
As I mentioned above, I went to the store and did laundry because I was off today. This weekend is our first Saturday. Anne was off yesterday and got the bulk of the staples and I got the rest this morning. They tried to put us on different rotations and we both unloaded on our sups with both barrels. Luckily my neighbor was on week 1 same as Anne and was willing to trade with me. So we have that at least. And it's only every 3 weeks (I had been on week 3)
It's been a pretty chill day around her for Tang and myself. Reading, watching TV and napping/snuggling

He seems to be doing pretty well today.
I hope today has been as kind as possible to you and that you have a warm and comfortable evening surrounded by the loving spirits of your fur angels. Peace and Blessings.

Hi, Tracy, cloudy cold 30-ish T G I F greetings to you, your precious prince Tang, and Anne. I hope this finds each of you doing well and in good spirits.
So glad you and Anne were able to get the same Saturday rotation. That does help with working around your daily chores and schedules. Sounds like you and your precious prince Tang had a good "men's" day together yesterday - - it's nice for you and your precious Tang to have some "father and son" time together.
I'm smiling that you and Tux Jr also was able to share some "connection" time together yesterday. I'm sure he appreciates it, and went back and told all the other tribe members about it.
Thank you for your continued support and encouragement with my health challenges. The new medication I'm on requires it to be the first medication of the day when I can either sit or stand upright for at least 30 minutes after taking it, and I have to wait at least an hour before taking my other meds. So this morning I took the bone medication around 7:30 a.m. and worked on my checkbook reconciling it to the bank statement which took about 2 hours. Since my bed is adjustable, I put the head of the bed in the upright position so that I could sit in bed under the warm blankets while I slaved over the checkbook. Once I was finished with that I could safely take my other morning medications and get on with the day. I'm glad this new medication is only once a week.
Have gotten chores done that have needed to be done and am now taking a break to get caught up on emails and check in with you to see how you're doing, and to share my news. Soon I will need to start getting something on the stove cooking for lunch.
Hi, Tracy, sunny chilly 40-ish Caturday greetings to you, your precious prince Tang, and Anne. I hope this finds each of you doing well and in good spirits.
I remember so vividly still the feeling of being "wiped out" after a day in the "labor camp." I thank you, though, for touching base to let us know you, your precious Tang, and Anne are okay. I hope today in the trenches will be less draining for you and Anne.
Today has been spent on different projects: getting a couple of bills scheduled for online payment, working on Christmas cards and getting gift cards ready for distribution when I visit my brother and family in Bedford on Christmas day. My nephew will be arriving from Idaho next Thursday, 12/20, and I am looking forward to seeing him, as I only see him once a year during the holidays. Perhaps this time next year I will be geographically closer to Bedford so that it won't take me 45 minutes to drive there. Also did a load of laundry this morning - - so it's been a busy day so far. Soon it will be time to start getting some lunch ready.

Hello moon_beam. Sunny and mild (50ish) Caturday greetings to you. I hope this finds you doing well. I can imagine you are looking forward to seeing your family, especially your nephew. I hope you have a good holiday with them - as much as you can (hugs)
This morning I just saw Siamese and Tux Jr while feeding. I hope the others are doing OK.
The reason it was so busy at work is because the client requested we send a letter to the retirees (126K) But it was worded in a way that lead them to believe they were losing medicare coverage. The phones exploded. Heck I took 15 calls for it today. I also got another 0 scored call for not checking the KB but the screen scrape clearly shows that I did

I'll be taking that up with my manager Monday.
Tang met me at the door when I finally got home. He's had his supper and shot and seems to be doing well. I hope today has been as kind as possible to you and that you have a comfortable evening in the presence of you loving fur angels living spirits. Peace and Blessings.

So glad you finally saw a couple of the regular community waifs during your provisioning yesterday. Am keeping the tribe in my thoughts and prayers, and always look forward to sharing your news as to how they're doing.
I can clearly imagine how concerned the recipients of the letter were about the possibility of losing their Medicare coverage. I, too, would have been on the phone checking into it if I received a letter that even hinted at my not having my Medicare. High technology is great when it works, but when it doesn't it's a real bummer. Sounds like you're a victim of technology glitches at work - - in some form or fashion, so am glad you will be speaking to your manager tomorrow showing him the proof that you did check the KB. I hope he / she will be able to correct this error. Please let us know how things go.

Hello moon_beam. Sometimes rainy and cool (46) greetings to you. I hope this finds you doing well.
Oh, it was no glitch. ADP management got lazy and used a "one size fits all" open enrollment form letter. It talks about "changes" rather than elections, tobacco surcharge, and even dependent verification. None of which applies to medicare recipients in Georgia or anywhere else for that matter. We had over 30 in queue after 5:00 on Friday, and that was just the first mailing. I'm not looking forward to tomorrow.
This morning during the feedings I had 2 of my "scouts". Siamese up on the fence at the first spot along the jogging path, and Little Gray over by the gym. I hope the others are doing OK.
Today was a typical lazy Sunday. We did shop for items for our own Christmas dinner (well lunch really) next week before dropping off the gifts at Anne's parents condo. I really hope we don't get bogged down there because we have to work the next day.
Tang was in good spirits when we left this morning and I hope he still will be when when we get back. I hope today has been as kind as possible to you and that you have a comfortable evening surrounded by the loving spirits of your fur angels. Peace and Blessings.

Hi, Tracy, sunny decent 50-ish Monday greetings to you, your precious Tang, and Anne. I hope this finds each of you doing well and in good spirits.
Hope you have been able to speak with your supervisor today about correcting the KB error. Please let us know how this goes.
So glad you saw two of the regular community waifs yesterday during your provisioning. It's reassuring to know they are still with you.
Sounds like you and Anne had a good day yesterday, and hope you are done with your Christmas shopping by now as I'm sure stores will begin to become quite congested with "last minute" shoppers.
Started the morning with working on the bill-a-thon planning in the checkbook for January payments. Got that done around 11 a.m. and resumed the task of doing more sorting through "stuff" and deciding what to keep, what to donate, and what to throw away. I have many old pieces of blankets and sheets that my regular volunteer might be able to use in her quilting circle. I have taken them upstairs so that they'll be there for her to look through when she comes on Thursday. What she doesn't take I'll donate to Goodwill. Still have to decide what I'm going to do with the throw blankets I used for Noah's stroller. For now they are in a plastic zipper storage bag where they will be kept clean.
Peace and blessings,

Hello moon_beam. Cloudy and cool (48) greetings to you. I hope this finds you doing well today. I can imagine how deciding what to do with your precious Noah's blankets. Perhaps you will decide to hang on to them? Thoughts and prayers.
This morning I saw Siamese on the fence straight away - but just then I also saw that orange tabby - he's looking much better these days. I also saw Tux Jr further down the trail. I hope the others are OK.
I didn't get a chance to talk to my manager today - in fact he made a point of avoiding me. But I have a 1 on 1 scheduled tomorrow so we'll see.
Tang met me at the door as usual. Unfortunately, he threw up in the hall at some point today. But he seems better now. He's had his supper and shot and is settling in.
I hope today has been kind to you and that you have a comfortable evening surrounded by the eternal love of your precious fur angels. Peace and Blessings.

Hi, Tracy, sunny decent 60-ish Tuesday greetings to you, your precious prince Tang, and Anne. I hope this finds each of you doing well and in good spirits.
I'm so sorry your precious Tang had an upset tummy yesterday. It very troublesome not knowing "why" our companions are having "episodes". I am keeping your precious boy in my thoughts and prayers that he will continue to be okay. Please let us know how he's doing.
I hope your 1 on 1 meeting with your supervisor goes okay today, and that you're able to get the KB issue from the weekend corrected. Please let us know how things go.
So glad you saw a couple of the regular waifs yesterday, and one of the newcomers - - the orange tabby. Glad to share your news that he / she is looking better now. It's always a blessing sharing your news as to how the community tribe is doing.
Got the chores done and worked on some quiet time projects until the temperature warmed up enough so that I could get gas in the car without freezing in the process. It is getting harder to make this task simple. I wanted to get gas in the car and then pay for it with my credit card inside the store. However, that procedure has now changed. You either pay for your gas at the gas pump with a credit card, OR - - you go inside the store, leave your credit card with the cashier, then go outside to pump the gas, and then have to go back inside the store to get your credit card and purchase receipt. Now I ask you, how ridiculous is this. I understand the philosophy - - because people were pumping gas into their cars and then leaving without paying for the gas. However, making it difficult for the honest folk to get their gas is ludicrous to me. The gas stations need to have an attendant at the gas pumps now since this procedure has apparently become the "norm." I'm glad I no longer have to do this on a weekly basis.
When I got back home I got the mail from the mailbox that had been delivered since last Thursday after my volunteer had left. Most of it was junk mail, and a greeting card returned because the address was wrong. The post office put a sticker on the envelope with the right address, so will re-address the card and re-mail it to the right address.

Partly cloudy and mild (49) greetings to you. I hope this finds you doing well. I had no idea they did that with paying for gas inside. But we always pay at the pump.I agree that's stupid though. I hope your greeting card gets where it needs to go to.
I had a good turn out with waifs today. I saw Siamese right off the bat, then Tux Jr down by the 2nd spot. Little Gray up by the pool and an orange tabby and a black cat by the office. I hope the others are doing OK.
Work was steady but not back to back. My 1 on 1 with my manager was cancelled due to him not feeling well (he said) But Anne and I ended up having an impromptu with each of our managers. It was weird, but I think everything is OK.
Tang met me at the door as usual and didn't have an upset tummy this time. He;s had his supper and shot and seems well. I hope today has been kind to you and that you have a comfortable evening surrounded by the loving spirits of your precious fur angels. Peace and Blessings

Hi, Tracy, cloudy chilly 50-ish Wednesday greetings to you, your precious Tang, and Anne. I hope this finds each of you doing well and in good spirits.
I'm glad you and Anne had an impromptu meeting with your managers, although it seems from what you shared that it was "weird." I, too, am hoping everything is okay. Please let us know how things are going for you.
So glad you saw a few of the regular waifs yesterday morning accompanied by a couple of "new members" to the tribe. They are always in my thoughts and prayers that each of them are safe. Please let us know how they're doing
Today has been spent working on a variety of projects. Got the card re-addressed to my niece in Texas and it is in my mailbox with the red flag up letting the postal carrier know that there is "outgoing" mail to pick up. I won't do this when I have bills to mail - - anything with money to mail goes straight to the post office. Finally washed the quilt that had been upstairs on the sofa for the last 10 years for my feline companions to enjoy when they wanted some private quiet time. It is no longer needed for them. It is now put away in the quilt box next to the bed and will be used on my bed at some point in time when I change the bedding. Otherwise it is a quiet day here.

Hello moon_beam. Clear and cool (47) greetings to you.. I hope this finds you doing OK. I can imagine the mixed feelings to had washing and putting away the quilt. Thoughts and prayers.
This morning I saw Siamese, Tux Jr and Little Gray. I hope the others are doing OK.
Nothing bad came out of the meeting. Just some clarifications. It wasn't dead but it wasn't really busy either. Hopefully the slow down will continue into the holidays.
Tang met me at the door as usual. He's had his supper and shot and is settling in. I hope today has been as kind as possible to you and that you have a comfortable evening surrounded by the loving spirits of your fur angels. Peace and Blessings.
