Hello moon_beam. Sunny and absolutely BEAUTIFUL weather TGIF greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope this finds you both doing well.
Waif attendance was abysmal this morning at zero at first. All I saw was a possum scavenging at the far site. I shooed him off only to see him return at the closer site when I was on my way to my bus stop. It’s then I saw Siamese hiding in a nearby bush. Where was Tux Jr vanquisher of intruders when we needed him? I hope he and the others are OK
Tang was in good spirits this morning even though we really didn’t get much cuddle time. I will update how he’s doing when I get home.
On a lovely day such as this, I just had to spend some time outside during my lunch period. It was pleasant but made me think of Angels Theresa and Tom which was fairly bittersweet (sigh)
I am, as you said, counting down the hours and minutes until I am free from my "cell" and can put my mind toward making my way home for the 3 day weekend. I hope today is being kind to you and Noah and that you both have a blissful evening. TTFN

PS: Home safe and sound at 6:49 - not bad considering Friday. My bus was right on time but lost 10 minutes when we picked up a guy in a wheel chair. Turns out the driver knew they guy and you can guess why we lost the time. Tang met me at the dorr and has had his supper. He is doing well.

Hi, Tracy, delightfully pleasant sunny 70-ish T G I F greetings to you and your precious prince Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious boy doing well and in good spirits.
Possums can be very intimidating as I personally found out a few years ago when one came visiting in the yard and my beloved canine companion Samson was outside at the time. Samson wanted to play but the possum was instead bearing his teeth and snarling. I finally got Samson inside the house, and thankfully never saw the possum again. So I can understand the waifs giving the possum a wide berth until it moves onto other pastures. You really don't want to engage the possum if you see it - - just let it be.
Worked a bit on financials this morning paying a few bills online. Need to resume my project of purging unnecessary documents - - that has sort of taken a respite beginning with having to focus on getting things back up and running from the lightning strike last month, and then some other things have taken a "priority" such as getting the basement fridge repaired from the water leak, and then having to get a new mailbox, etc. - - so I need to get back to that project. Have a load of laundry in the dryer as I'm writing to you. Still have two loads in the laundry basket waiting to be done in their due time.
My precious Noah is doing well. We are enjoying having the big door open and gated today - - thanks to Hermine taking a more easterly track. My heart goes out to all those of every life form who are being adversely affected by the storm, and hope they will be able to get their lives back in order quickly.
I'm so glad your travels home yesterday were not too aggravating, and hope you have been able to get your chores / errands done quickly today so that you and your precious prince Tang can enjoy most of this day together and will have a peaceful, blissful, cozy evening blessed with your beloved Sir Thomas' and princess Theresa's sweet Living Spirits to comfort you. I thank you for the blessing of your friendship, Tracy, and of your precious boy. Please know you and your precious prince Tang are in my thoughts and prayers, and that I always look forward to knowing how you and your precious boy are doing, along with the community waifs, and to sharing your treasured memories of your beloved Sir Thomas and princess Theresa.

Hello moon_beam. Sunny and somewhat pleasant Caturday greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope this finds you both doing well. Glad to hear your'e starting to be able to get back on track on your regular projects that were interrupted by the unfortunate events you illustrated.
Woke up to my alarm this morning to get laundry started - had the room to myself for the duration again. I went to feed the waifs and the attendance was: ZERO

No possums either (although in my experience I've found them quite timid except for that one) I must say this is worrisome

Ever hopeful, I put out the food anyway. I then came in to take care of Tang's needs in the interim.
I had to go to Kroger even though I didn't need to go to the library because I forgot some herbal supplements that I can only get there (cheaply anyway) I went a few dollars over budget but that's not the kicker. Because of a stupid math error on my part, I just discovered I am exactly 4.31 short of my rent

I really don't want to pay late 2 months in a row (or make a special trip to the bank) so I'm gong to put the check in the box tomorrow (office closed) They scan them now so they will likely do that Tuesday making it hit Wednesday. I get paid on Friday. I'm hoping because it's so close (in dollars and timing) the bank will put it through and just slap me with a overdraft fee. 27.00 is better than 40.00 late fee plus 5.00 money order.
Got home before 10:00 and had a bite to eat and settled in with Tang for naps and snuggles for which I got many

He is doing well.
I hope today is being kind to you and Noah and that you both have a most pleasant evening. TTFN

Hi, Tracy, sunny pleasant 70-ish Sunday greetings to you and your precious prince Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious boy doing well and in good spirits.
Thank goodness for holiday weekends with banks being closed. I know all too well how frustrating it is to discover a bookkeeping error that is not in your favor. I hope your strategy for paying the "balance due" on your rent works. Please let us know how things go.
I'm sorry you didn't see any waifs yesterday during your provisioning. I am keeping them in my thoughts and prayers that each of them is okay. Please let us know how they're doing.
Not much going on here at the homestead today. My precious Noah and I had a nice sleep in this morning. We are enjoying having the big door open and gated again. My precious boy is doing well. He is settled comfortably next to me keeping me company as I'm writing to you.
I hope today is treating you and your precious prince Tang kindly, my friend, and that you and your precious boy will have a peaceful, blissful, cozy evening blessed with your beloved Sir Thomas' and princess Theresa's sweet Living Spirits to comfort you. Hello moon_beam. Sunny and warm greetings to to you and your precious Noah. I hope this finds you both doing well. Glad to hear weather permitted you to have the big door open again to enjoy nature.
Thanks for the well wishes in regard to my rent "strategy" (I'll need it) and the waifs. This morning all I saw was Big Tabby

I can't remember the last time I have not seen so many of them for so long. I hope nothing bad has happened to them.
The temps dipped down to about 59 this morning, so I let Tang have some balcony time. He never stays out long though (unlike his angel big sister did)
The rest of the day I have just been enjoying the rest and relaxation an extra day off affords. And 24 more hours of not having to feel despondent about having to return to work. It sure has made for some weird and troubling dreams though. At least Tang has been by my side throughout. He's having his supper and is doing well.
I hope today is being kind to you and Noah and that you both have a very peaceful evening. TTFN

Hi, Tracy, sunny pleasant 80-ish Labor Day Monday greetings to you and your precious prince Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious boy doing well and in good spirits.
I can imagine your growing concern about the welfare of the community waifs not seeing the usual gathering as you do your provisioning. I hope the members of the community tribe will once again make an appearance putting your concerns at ease - - at least for a little while. Please let us know how they're doing.
Today has been busy returning to the task of sorting through and purging many documents that are no longer needed. Have stopped counting the number of tall kitchen trash bags filled already and have many more to fill as progress continues. I'm now in the process of going through my collected years of tax returns to decide which ones I still need to keep and which ones I can now shred. I am soooo looking forward to lightening the load of "stuff" when the community shred-a-thon takes place.
My precious Noah and I had a nice sleep in this morning, and he has been keeping me faithful company as I sift through all the "stuff." Have another load of laundry in the dryer as I'm writing to you. Just one more load to do at some point in time and then the laundry basket will be empty ready to fill again. I'm now looking forward to getting my precious Noah's lunch, and mine, and settling down for a good rest the remainder of the afternoon.
So glad your precious Tang had a chance to enjoy some balcony time yesterday. My precious Noah and I are enjoying having the big door open and gated again today, but this may be the last day for this pleasure this week as humidity is already beginning to build back up in fulfilling the forecast for the return of hot and humid weather for this week.
I"m so very glad you have this extra day home with your precious prince Tang to enjoy, my friend. I hope today is treating you and your precious boy kindly, and that you and your precious Tang will have a peaceful, blissful, cozy evening blessed with your beloved Sir Thomas' and princess Theresa's sweet Living Spirits to comfort you.

Hot but not as humid Labor Day greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope this finds you both doing well. Sounds like you got a lot accomplished today with your document sorting. Glad to hear you had one more day of having the big door open.
This morning I saw Siamese and Tux Jr (but only as I was coming back around) None at the far site. I can't remember the last time I have not at least seen Little Gray and/or White Cat down there. I hope they haven't run afoul of the local wildlife or hateful residents - I can't always watch over them, but Angel Theresa and Tom can and I hope they do
This morning was another "cool" one so I opened the doors to the balcony. This time I took the broom to the cobwebs at the edge of the door and wall that seems to have been freaking poor Tang out. He enjoyed some time out there after that.
The rest of the day has been spent relaxing in front of the TV. I used to remember watching the MDA telethon every year at this time, but according to Google it's been gone since 2011. What a shame. It was there that I remember seeing the historical reunion between Jerry Lewis and Dean Martin.
Tang has been by my side for most of the day laying on my chest upon a pillow (his favorite) and giving me headbutt nuzzles

He is doing well and having his supper.
I hope today has been kind to you and Noah and that you both have a blissful evening. TTFN

PS: When I was dropping off the rent and some Netflix in the mail (after posting) I saw Little Gray. Looking a tad scared but otherwise OK. Right before that I saw a beautiful yellow/orange butterfly. Thanks angels Theresa and Tom

Hi, Tracy, sunny pleasant 80-ish Tuesday greetings to you and your precious prince Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious boy doing well and in good spirits.
So glad you were able to see at least a couple of the community waifs during your provisioning and chores yesterday. It does not surprise me that your beloved Sir Thomas and princess Theresa let you know they are with you with the visit by the butterfly as well as bringing some of the waifs out so that you could at least see them and do a head count. There is no doubt your beloved companions are keeping a loving vigil over the community waifs. Am also very glad to share your news that you and your precious Tang had an enjoyable day yesterday.
Decided to tackle the job of doing some cleaning in the bathroom this morning. I remember a time when I was able to do it without needing to rest at a "halfway" mark of getting the chore done - - but that is now in the past. Still have some dusting and vacuuming to do but that will happen another day. My precious boy had settled down on his bathroom window perch, but I didn't want him in the bathroom while I was cleaning and using disinfectants, etc.. So I opened and gated the big door which lured him from the bathroom so that I could gate the bathroom doorway off while I was working. He has been in the bathroom to give his approval of the cleaning, and is now settled comfortably next to me keeping me company as I'm writing to you. The remainder of the day will be low key resting from the morning's activities.
I hope today is treating you kindly at work, my friend, and that your travels are safe, comfortable, dry, and expedient so that you and your precious prince Tang can have a peaceful, blissful, cozy evening blessed with your beloved Sir Thomas' and princess Theresa's sweet Living Spirits to comfort you. I thank you for the blessing of your friendship, Tracy, and of your precious boy. Hello moon_beam. Sunny and very warm greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope this finds you both doing well. Sounds like you had your hands full cleaning the bathroom; I hope you didn’t overdo it. At least you could open the big door for Noah while you did that, which I’m sure he appreciated.
At one point or another, I saw all the waifs except Tux Jr this morning - even Little Tabby (Well, no Tux Sr or Bobtail, but they’re always sporadic) This was quite a relief. Nice job Angels Theresa and Tom
Tang was in good spirits even though we had little time for cuddles. He still kept me company as I got ready for work. I will update how he’s doing again when I get home.
We had some virtual training for a new system today that was supposed to last 3 hours, but only went for 2. Even so, it was enough time and enough of us off the phone to make for back to back calls for well over 30 minutes
At this point I am just counting the hours and minutes until my daily “sentence” is over and then I can think about going home.
I hope today is being kind to you and Noah and that you both have a most pleasant evening. TTFN

PS: Home safe and sound at 6:29 - different driver and right on time. Bet I can't get that again his week. Tang met me at the door as usual with "Daddy your home! On Time even!" He's had his supper and "told" me all about his day (I swear I'm starting to hear words in his meows) He is doing well.

Hi, Tracy, sunny warm on the humid side 80-ish Wednesday greetings to you and your precious prince Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious boy doing well and in good spirits.
So glad you were able to see some of the community waifs yesterday during your provisioning / travels. I know seeing their sweet faces lets you know they're still doing okay.
Thank you for your thoughtful encouragement with my chores yesterday. I definitely do not have the endurance levels that I used to have at this time last year, but I'm still chugging along although at a much slower pace. Got the trashy trash into the bin this morning for the volunteer tomorrow, and collected the mail from the mailbox that has been delivered since last Friday. Got a notice from Medicare that my premium is now being automatically deducted from my checking account on a monthly basis, so that is good news.
My precious Noah and I had another good snuggle this morning before starting the day. Since it's warmer outside the big door isn't open today, and my precious boy is making those inquisitive meow chirps as to why the door is closed. He's comfortably settled next to me keeping me company as I'm writing to you.
I'm so very glad your travels home yesterday were expedient - - certainly an event for you and your precious Tang to celebrate. Hello moon_beam. Sunny, warm but not as humid greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope this finds you both doing well. Sounds like you got a lot accomplished again today. Too bad about not being able to open the door though. Noah’s “chirping” reminds me of how Theresa thought I controlled the weather in regard to balcony time
Waif attendance was better this morning. I saw Tux Jr who was friendly and stood guard while Little Tabby ate - the possum didn’t come until after they were done – told you Tux Jr is my little guard cat

I saw Little Gray down at the other end and Siamese down by me on my way back out again.
Tang was in pretty good spirits this morning and kept me company as I got ready for work. I will update how he’s doing when I get home.
Once again, just counting down my time until I can call it another day and think about making my way home. I hope today is being kind to you and Noah and that you both have a very peaceful evening. TTFN

PS: Home safe and sound at 6:35 - Same driver as last night; a little late but he hustled. Hope we can hang on to this one. I saw Bobtail on my way in to the mailboxes which made me feel better. Tang met me at the door as usual. He's had his supper and curled up at my feet. He is well.

Hi, Tracy, sunny humid 90-ish Thursday greetings to you and your precious prince Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious boy doing well and in good spirits.
So glad you are seeing more of the waifs in your provisioning and travels. How nice Tux Jr has taken on the role of standing guard while the other waifs have their fill of the food. And I'm so glad your travels home to your precious Tang yesterday were also timely. Hope you're able to keep this driver as well. Please let us know how things go both with the waifs and your travels.
Had a couple of things to do on the big desk top this morning which is now going through its security scan before shutting down. Received a notice that I can renew my internet security program at a discount rate if I renew before 9/14, so will probably be working on that project over the next few days. That will require dedicated time for the day.
My precious Noah is doing well. We had some snuggle time this morning but woke up to find him settled comfortably on his bathroom window perch. He has had his lunch and mine is on the stove warming.
Hello moon_beam. Sunny, hot and humid greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope this finds you both doing well and spending quality time together. I hope your security updates go well.
This morning I only saw Siamese and Little Gray at either end. Unfortunately, I also saw the possum. Since I didn’t see Tux Jr, I stood watch while Siamese ate. He/she seemed to appreciate this.
Tang was in good spirits this morning. We had a bit of cuddle time and he kept me faithful company as I got ready for work. I will update how he’s doing when I get home.

Not much going on here at the homestead today, at least not so far. My precious Noah is doing well, which is always a blessing of good news to share with you. I only saw Tux Jr and Siamese today (no possum) I actually startled Tux Jr as he was picking at the bits of leftover food from yesterday. He recovered quickly enough though and was his usual friendly self.
Tang was in good spirits and we had about 30 minutes of cuddle/nap time until he had better things to do that is

Hi, Tracy, sunny sometimes cloudy humid 80-ish Caturday greetings to you and your precious prince Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious boy doing well and in good spirits.
Sorry your travels home yesterday evening were troublesome, particularly on a Friday evening when you really really want to get home as quickly as possible. As frustrating as the transportation situation is, the best part is getting home safe and sound to your precious Tang.
This morning has been dedicated to downloading and updating the newest version of my internet security program for the coming year. Got both the desk top and lap top updated without much frustration - - which is always nice when dealing with "high technology."
When my volunteer was here on Thursday afternoon, I asked her if she knew how to contact a junk / salvage person who would take a few items off my hands: A very old wrought iron patio settee and lounger set which is still good but needs to be restored - - needs a thorough cleaning to get the rust off and then painted - - and an old but still very functioning Snapper self-propelled walk behind mulching mower. I had tried looking through the telephone directories and doing an internet search but was unsuccessful. She told me that her church is in the process of getting donations to their community yard sale, and that these items sound like they would be quite acceptable. She told me to call the church office to arrange for a volunteer to come pick the items up. So I called the office yesterday afternoon but will need to call back this coming week to speak with the person "in charge" of deciding what items are acceptable. The settee is already in the garage, but the lounger was here at the basement end of the house. So while the lap top was going through its updates this morning I was able to slowly and carefully move the patio lounger (which has two large wheels) to the upper part of the slope so that it will be at the garage end of the house when the person comes to get the items. So that part is done, and I'm happy that these items are going to a community yard sale rather than being salvaged as junk.
The rest of the day is totally unplanned so that Noah and I can enjoy each other's company. I noticed while I was moving the lounger this morning that I will need to call the company that installed the gutter guards to have a crew come to clean them out. I will contact them next week to make that arrangement.
I hope you have been able to get your chores / errands done quickly so that you and your precious prince Tang can enjoy most of this day together and will have a peaceful, blissful, cozy evening blessed with your beloved Sir Thomas' and princess Theresa's sweet Living Spirits to comfort you.

Sunny and warm Caturday greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope this finds you both doing well. I also hope you are able to get in contact with someone to take your unwanted items away.
I pretty much saw all the waifs this morning except Tux Sr/Other Tux. I even saw Bobtail grooming himself on top of a car

I gave him a friendly warning that while I knew he was causing no harm, the owner might feel differently. But it was early and still dark out, so I'm sure he was fine.
Laundry room was empty again for the duration for which I am always grateful. I had to make the "long" errands due to having library books due to pick up and drop off. I even kept my budget at Kroger. That's where my "good" day ended.
The bus home was right on time even though there were detours for the St. Rita rummage sale. But we sat and waited for a train for over 20 minutes. I have been going up and down that road on the bus for 13 years and never once saw a train on those tracks. It stopped and backed up - TWICE

When I got home, I put some smoked sausages in the toaster oven to get lunch started and turned on the TV to discover no service. Same for internet and phone

I made a special arrangement at the end of August to pay part that day and the balance yesterday when I got paid. The web site this morning even showed both payments. I had 76 prepaid minutes on my cell when I started trying to get this fixed, I now have 42
The irony is that I made this arrangement in order to not have to pay my rent late (it went through BTW and the OD fee was immediately refunded) I bring this up because between 2 (American - don't ask what I had to go through to get that) agents had "I don't care" attitudes. The 2nd one made me pay the "current" past due that I was going to try to make and arrangement on again just to get turned back on. Guess my rent will be late next month unless they let slide my putting the check in the drop box 10/05 after hours . I called to cancel when my service was restored and the man "repriced" me with upgrades that took my bill down a few dollars. Then I got a sup in chat who credited me 20.00 plus the 7.50 late fee. I am wrapping that up now. As you can see by the time stamp, more than 1/2 my day off is gone.
Oh, and to top it off, when I bent over to pick up my phone charger, I ripped my only pair of walking shorts (sigh) At least Tang is doing well even though our time has been "stolen" today. I got plenty of kisses and headbutts
I hope today is being kind to you and Noah and that you both have a very peaceful evening. TTFN

Hi, Tracy, sunny delightfully pleasant 70-ish Sunday greetings to you and your precious prince Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious boy doing well and in good spirits.
The good news is that yesterday is over with and today is a "clean slate" for you and your precious Tang to enjoy - - hopefully without any aggravations to deal with. I'm glad you were able to get your TV, phone, and internet service restored, although I know so well how aggravating it is to have to deal with the process. Am glad you were finally able to speak with a supervisor who reimbursed at least some of the fees and charges - - that helped, I'm sure. Juggling finances is a challenge for sure as I know so well from first hand experience. I hope you won't have to pay a late rent fee for October, my friend. Please let us know how things go.
My precious Noah and I had a wonderful snuggle this morning before starting the day. With low humidity levels and pleasant temps we are enjoying having the big door open and gated today. I do so like this type of weather. Am looking forward to settling down with a good book with my precious Noah snuggled next to me until it's time to get him some lunch.
Sunny and pleasant greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope this finds you both doing well. Glad to hear the weather has permitted you to have the big door open. I'm sure Noah appreciates the chance to scope out the local wildlife.
I woke up well ahead of my alarm at about 4:30 this morning. I only saw Tux Jr our there today. But since I had the extra time and the weather was nice (low 60s) I spent some time with him. He even jumped up onto the bench I sat down on and let me scratch his belly

Tang doesn't even let me do that.
Speaking of Tang, when I was done outside and took care of his needs, I opened the balcony door wide and he enjoyed some fresh air on the balcony for some time while I put some breakfast together. I put just a tad of the gravy for the biscuits aside sans the salt an pepper just for him. He seemed to enjoy it.
The rest of the day has been spent vegging on the couch in front of the TV with occasional naps and cuddles. Tang seems so lonely though. I'm sure he's missing Theresa

Each time I ask him about getting another companion (Theresa's last "payment" was last month) he seems to shine to the idea; just haven't had any "signs" you know?
Well, getting ready to settle in for the evening and get Tang his supper and insulin. I hope today has been kind to you and Noah and that you both have a blissful evening. TTFN

Hi, Tracy, sunny pleasant 80-ish Monday greetings to you and your precious prince Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious boy doing well and in good spirits.
Sounds like yesterday was a much improved day over Caturday's events, and this is always a blessing. So glad your precious boy was able to enjoy some balcony time as well.
Have done some work on financials this morning and ordered a couple of things - - need more color cartridges for my HP ink jet printer and paid the cost of updating the internet security program. Received notification that my Medicare premium is now being automatically deducted from my checking account, so that's good news. If for whatever reason the premium is not paid "on time" (there is no "grace period") Medicare automatically cancels the coverage, and it's a royal hassle getting it re-instated with associated penalties.
My precious Noah is doing well. He has joined me here at the computer from his morning nap on his bathroom window perch. Soon it will be time to get his lunch.
Please know you and your precious prince Tang are in my thoughts and prayers, and that I always look forward to knowing how you and your precious boy are doing, along with the community waifs, and to sharing your treasured memories of your beloved Sir Thomas and princess Theresa.

Hello moon_beam. Sunny and warm greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope this finds you both doing well. Glad to hear you were able to get the Medicare payment method taken care of.
This morning my colon was acting up something fierce. So, there goes the last of my paid time off not counting the holidays (sigh) In a twisted way, it's a good thing though. Because about an hour ago my digital cable box went out. After fighting with half of India to get a US agent (and being refused) I fought with another one on chat and got a US escalation person - she was no help either except to identify what I thought was the problem all along. This "upgrade" I got Saturday was put in in such a way as to shut off my current box. I even told the guy I can't get to an office to swap.
Long story short, I ended up getting a call back from a supervisor (US) Who reactivated my box and set up a tech install swap of my box and modem to take advantage of the free "upgrades" scheduled for Saturday. No charge to me which is like 40.00. I accepted that as a defacto "credit"
I saw no waifs this morning while provisioning

but Tang is well and giving me plenty of Kissuzzles (kisses and nuzzles)

I tried to offer him balcony time this morning but he demurred.
I hope today is being kind to you and Noah and that you both have a most pleasant evening. tTFN

Hi, Tracy, sunny humid 80-ish Tuesday greetings to you and your precious prince Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious boy doing well - - you feeling better - - and the both of you in good spirits.
So sorry you weren't feeling well yesterday. And to add to the stress you had the frustration of getting your cable box connection restored. I hope the service tech will be able to get things properly set up for you on Saturday. Please let us know how things go.
Was able to do a couple of errands this morning - - one to the post office and one to the hardware store. Have been wanting to get some paneling for a couple of walls here in the basement living quarters for several years now but other things took priority. A friend sent me a $100 gift card a couple of months ago, so today I used it to get the paneling, with about $30 still on the card to use for something else. I should be able to pick up the paneling sometime this week. And then at some point in time I will be able to call the handyman who installed the mailbox to come install the paneling for me.
My precious Noah is doing well. He didn't fret this morning as I was getting ready to do errands. He was quite content to stay settled on his bathroom window perch instead of hiding under the bed. He is settled comfortably next to me keeping me company as I'm writing to you.
I hope you're feeling better today, my friend. GI upsets are very unpleasant and uncomfortable. Whether or not you're feeling well enough to go to work today, I hope today is treating you and your precious prince Tang kindly, and that you and your precious boy will have a very peaceful, blissful, and cozy evening blessed with your beloved Sir Thomas' and princess Theresa's sweet Living Spirits to comfort you.

Sunny and fairly pleasant greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope this finds you both doing well. I’m glad to hear Noah didn’t panic when you set out on your errands. I hope the paneling turns out well too.
Well enough to go to work today (if I want to get paid that is) I saw no waifs again this morning which is troubling. I know they are clever enough to keep out of harm’s way, but I wish I knew who or what has them hiding
Tang was in good spirits this morning and we had about ½ an hour of cuddle time – he stayed the whole time today

More on how he’s doing when I get home.
Back to back calls after lunch today and I’m about sick of it. Just counting down the time until my shift is over and I can think about going home.
I hope today is being kind to you and Noah and that you both have a very peaceful evening. TTFN

Home safe and sound at 6:47 (sigh) I've had it with this guy. From smirking and clapping when he sees me looking at my watch as I get on the bus, to driving slow because he's delivering a sermon. An actual top of his lungs, banging the steering wheel, fire and brimstone, holy rolling tent revival

I will call every morning and I will file complaints on the web site 1000 times if I have to. I can't take it anymore.
Tang was waiting on me at the door (good sport that he is) and has had his supper from a freshly opened can. He's doing well.

Hi, Tracy, sunny humid 90-ish Wednesday greetings to you and your precious prince Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious boy doing well and in good spirits.
So glad you were feeling better yesterday so that you could go to - - if not feeling a bit "wasted" from the GI upset. I hope you continue to feel better. GI upsets are no fun.
Sorry your travels homeward are turning into a royal nightmare. I wouldn't like to be "preached at" by anyone including a bus driver. Please let us know how things go.
If sunrise is getting later in your neighborhood, as it is here, the waifs may not be venturing forth until sunrise begins - - which may explain why you're not seeing them as early. It's just a thought for whatever it might be worth. Unfortunately they can't tell you what is happening, but I'm hoping whatever is changing their routines isn't because they are in danger or harm's way. Please let us know how they're doing.
My volunteer called earlier to let me know she is going into the city to the regional recycling center and asked if I had anything to contribute. So she stopped by a little while ago to collect my mixed paper and cardboard. So that's taken care of. Since she was already here she took the trash bin out to the street and collected the mail which has been delivered since Monday. She is going on a field trip tomorrow with a group of friends which would have been a time conflict for her to come tomorrow as she normally does, so I told her that the "chores" can be done today so that she can go on her day trip tomorrow and just enjoy herself. She is such a nice lady, and I really enjoy her company.
Not much else happening around the homestead, at least not at the moment. My precious Noah is doing well. He is keeping me faithful company as I'm writing to you.
I hope today is treating you kindly at work, my friend, and that your travels are safe, comfortable, dry, and expedient so that you and your precious prince Tang can have a very peaceful, blissful, and cozy evening blessed with your beloved Sir Thomas' and princess Theresa's sweet Living Spirits to comfort you. Hello moon_beam. Sunny and very warm but with low humidity greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope this finds you both doing well. Glad to hear you volunteer was able to rearrange her schedule so she could still help you out.
I provision the waifs at about 4:30-4:45 AM. So regardless of the season, it’s always dark. That’s the main reason I started doing it then to avoid the “haters”. This morning I did see Siamese, Little Gray and that gray tabby I sometimes see atop the fence. I’m not sure what has them hiding, but I’ll keep putting the food out and trying to watch out for them. I know Angels Tom and Theresa do too.
Tang was in good spirits this morning. We didn’t have as much cuddle time, but I tried to squeeze some in. More on how he’s doing when I get home.
I called TARC this morning to file a complaint about the habitually late running “preacher” We’ll see what (if anything) happens. I may go to the local press if I can’t get satisfaction from TARC. I pay 85.00 per month for an express pass for a bus that’s not truly an express. Least they can do is run on time like one. I know from past drivers it can easily be done.
Just counting down the hours and minutes until the end of my daily “sentence” Looking forward to heading home (TARC not with- standing)
I hope today is being kind to you and Noah and that you both have a blissful evening. TTFN

PS: Home safe and sound at......6:47

No sermon, but yeah just as late - EXACTLY as late. Definitely a pattern. Looks like another call tomorrow. Tang was faithfully waiting for me at the door though

He's had his dinner and curled up at my feet. He's doing well.

Hi, Tracy, sunny humid 80-ish Thursday greetings to you and your precious prince Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious boy doing well and in good spirits.
So glad you saw some of the waifs yesterday morning during your provisioning. At least you know the colony is still there in your territory. No doubt your beloved Sir Thomas and princess Theresa are keeping a loving vigil over them. Please let us know how the waifs are doing.
Well at least you didn't have a sermon to listen to yesterday evening - - that in and of itself is an improvement. You have been coping with ill mannered drivers for quite awhile now, with no measurable positive results from TARC. When all else fails there is nothing like the power of the pen / press to draw attention to a habitual problem. Please let us know how things go.
Got a call yesterday afternoon that the paneling was in so I made a quick trip to the hardware store this morning to pick it up. In a couple of weeks I'll give the handyman a call to get on his schedule to have it installed. Had some security updates to do on the big desk top so got those done as well as a couple of bills paid and the monthly bank statement printed off. Just need to put the computer through its security scan now before shutting down.
My precious Noah is doing well. We had a nice snuggle this morning before starting the day. He is here stretched out on the computer desk keeping me company as I'm writing to you.
It's always a blessing sharing your news that your precious prince Tang, and you, and are doing well. Just the rest of this day and tomorrow to get through until you are home with your precious boy for another weekend together. Sunny, hazy and warm greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope this finds you both doing well. Glad to hear your paneling came in and I hope the installation goes well.
Unfortunately I saw none of the waifs this morning

The food is getting eaten and I have not seen any possums or raccoons for some time (knock wood) So I can only assume they waifs are eating it even if I’m not seeing them. I’ll just keep doing what I’m doing.
Tang was in good spirits this morning and I managed to work in a little more nap/cuddle time than yesterday. It’s always nice spending that time listening to him purr and sort of meow at the same time. He sounds kind of like a tribble

More on how he’s doing when I get home.
I tried to call about the TARC driver yesterday but the woman I got was either incompetent or being deliberately obtuse. So I filed the complaint on the online. I’m determined to keep this up until it gives.
Just counting down the hours and minute until the end of my shift and can start thinking about heading home – whenever that might be
I hope today is being kind to you and Noah and that you both have a most pleasant evening. TTFN

PS: Home safe and sound at 6:42. A whopping 5 minute improvement

Wonder how many complaints I have to file before this guy shapes up or they replace him? Tang was at the door to meet me at least which always brightens my day. He's had his supper and is settling in. He is doing well.

Hi, Tracy, cloudy very humid 70-ish T G I F greetings to you and your precious prince Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious boy doing well and in good spirits.
As a paying customer for public transportation you are entitled to having competent service. The only way management is going to know you aren't getting your money's worth is through your feedback / complaints. Please let us know how things go.
A couple of gentlemen were here around 10:15 this morning to collect the patio furniture and Snapper mower for the community yard sale at one of the local churches. So that project is done. After they left I resumed my sorting through the financial records and am now down to the last storage bin to go through. I sure hope when all of this is over with that I will only have one storage bin of financial records to keep. When this is done, I will then be able to tackle the storage bin of my employment records and can hopefully send most of that material now to the community shred-a-thon.
Got a load of laundry done which is now finishing up in the dryer as I'm writing to you. My precious Noah is doinog well. He has been keeping me faithful company with all the various projects so far today, and is now letting me know he is looking forward to some lunch in his bowl, so will get this off to you.
In just about 2.5 hours or so you will be on your way home to your precious prince Tang to enjoy another weekend together. Hello moon_beam. Hazy, warm and a little humid TGIF greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope this finds you both doing well. Between having your items hauled away and sorting your documents, it sounds like you’ve had quite a busy day. I hope you can take it easy now with your little man.
That darn possum was back this morning. After I scared him off, I looked over my shoulder and saw Big Tabby and then Little Tabby hiding in the bushes. On my way back out I saw White Cat hiding in the bushes by the other feeding area. Then well on my way into the sub-division toward my bus stop, I could have sworn I saw Siamese

If that’s the case, maybe some of them are venturing away from our colony? I hope not as that would make me sad. And what would they eat? I’ll keep you posted on what happens.
Tang was in good spirits this morning and I worked in what little cuddle time I could since I woke up feeling like I’m coming down with something. Most likely due to that horrid woman on the bus a few evenings ago having coughing fits and, of course, not bothering to cover up. I’ll let you know how Tang is doing further when I get home.
Speaking of TARC, you are right. I just have to keep pushing until they get tired of hearing from me if nothing else. I’ll let you know how that goes too.
Just counting down the time to when the lousy work week will be over (sigh) Hopefully travels tonight will be somewhat improved since I have my errands.
I hope today is being kind to you and Noah and that you both have a very peaceful evening. TTFN

Even with Dollar Tree I should have been home by 6:45. I did see one of the Tux boys in a breezeway coming in and Bobtail when I glanced under a car. Poor Bobtail's looking a bit haggard and sad around the eyes

I spent a few minutes with him though. Tang met me at the door and has had his supper. He is well.

Hi, Tracy, belated Caturday and sunny humid 70-ish Sunday greetings to you and your precious prince Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious boy doing well and in good spirits.
I'm glad to share your news that you got home safe and sound to your precious boy on Friday evening, and hope you were able to get your chores / errands done quickly yesterday so that you and your precious Tang could enjoy most of the day together. I hope you are spared another episode of not feeling well, my friend.
Sorry I missed writing to you yesterday. I got so focused working on projects that when I did finally settle down to rest a bit I fell asleep. Of course Noah roused me to get him his dinner - - but I didn't fire up the computer at all yesterday. I opened my mailbox a few minutes ago and have a slew of emails to go through - - much of which I can just delete.
I'm glad you were able to see some of the community waifs during your travels Friday. There is of course always the chance that putting food out for them will attract other creatures for whom the food is not intended, and then there can be squabbles / intimidation develop that could not result in favor of the waifs. I hope the waifs won't disburse into other areas, as I know you would worry about them. Whatever happens please know that your beloved Sir Thomas and princess Theresa, along with other beloved companions are keeping a loving vigil over the community waifs and will guide them to safe places. Please let us know how they're doing.
Not much happening around the homestead today - - thank goodness. Looking forward to doing the very least today enjoying my precious Noah's company. He is still under blankets in peaceful slumber as I'm writing to you. I think I tuckered him out yesterday as well with all the projects he had to "supervise."
I hope today is treating you and your precious prince Tang kindly, and that you and your precious boy will have a very peaceful, blissful, and cozy evening blessed with your beloved Sir Thomas' and princess Theresa's sweet Living Spirits to comfort you. I thank you for the blessing of your friendship, Tracy, and of your precious boy. Hello moon_beam. Hazy and warm greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope this finds you both doing well. I'm glad to hear you are both OK; I was a little worried.
Feeling a little blah today with my sinuses draining (change of season no doubt) No waifs today

But I will keep up my vigil while continuing to put out food.
The modem and DVR box swap seemed to go OK yesterday until.....The DVR reset itself and never came back online. Since I told the IVR my issue was about the appointment, I got to a US agent who got it back up. Then later on, I discovered my DVR menu was missing and setting things to record didn't have my custom options (earlier start time, later stop time) Got another US agent who finally sent a hit to the box 15 minutes after I made that suggestion (I did used to do that work you know) Everything seems to be working properly now (knock wood)
It's been a lazy Sunday as usual with naps and many cuddles with Tang

He's had his supper (amazing how he eats every bite of canned food with just a little cat milk in it) and settling in as I will be now.
I hope today has been kind to you and Noah and that you both have a blissful evening. TTFN

I am keeping you in my thoughts and prayers that you will be spared any sinus or upper respiratory problems. Please let us know how you're doing.
It's good that you have experience with "technology" so that you could talk to your internet service reps to eventually get everything back up and running. High technology is great when it works but it's a royal pain when it doesn't.
Not much happening so far this Monday. Made a trek to the mailbox this morning to retrieve the mail delivered since last Wednesday. The package of ink cartridges I ordered for my HP printer was the only item of interest - - the rest is junk mail.
My precious Noah is doing well. We had a nice snuggle this morning but woke up to find him settled comfortably on his bathroom window perch. He is currently settled next to me keeping me company as I'm writing to you.

Hello moon_beam. Sunny and warm but not as humid (so far) greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope this finds you both doing well. Glad to hear your ink cartridges came, but junk mail Is always a pain. I’ve almost thrown away Netfix DVDs because of it.
The only waif I saw this morning was Siamese (I forgot to mention I saw him/her and Tux Jr on Saturday morning as if waiting for me) I only saw Siamese on my way out as I was looking over my shoulder. When I got to the back entrance of my complex out to the sub-division, I saw 3 more in the empty field. But I could only ID one of them as possibly being one of the tux boys. The others were an orange tabby I didn’t recognize and possibly the gray tabby I see from time to time. I think I spooked them because orange tabby took off running and had a brief row with the tux (until I hollered to break it up) I hope you’re not right about them being pushed out by the more “aggressive” wildlife

I’ll let you know how things are going on that front.
Tang was in good spirits this morning giving me kneads and nuzzles

just before my alarm was due to go off. Good timing I suppose. We didn’t have much cuddle time this morning, but I will make it up to him somehow. More on how he’s doing when I get home.
The last vestige of my TWC tech issues cropped up today with not being able to check my voice mail. I was lucky enough to get a US agent again on my lunch and he reactivated the service. I was then able to call the number and set up my mailbox again. Let’s hope that's all of that since I DVR'd something last night and it was in my list this morning.
Call volume has not been bad for a Monday. And most of those have been fairly easy (knock wood) My bus this morning was right on time for the first time in almost a month since losing the regular driver. Dare I hope for this afternoon? Just counting down my time until then.
I hope today is being kind to you and Noah and that you both have a most pleasant evening. TTFN
TT and TT
PS: Home safe and sound at 6:34 - much improved, but for how long? One thing I noticed on the bus home that was the same as the bus in was all the chatter on the radio. Other drivers on other routes calling in their location, circumstance and how late they were running. Dispatchers would come back with ways to get back on time, etc. TARC gets most of its operating funds from the government. So are they finally under scrutiny? One can only hope. Tang met me at the door but a bit further in the foyer than usual. Probably shocked at my arrival time. He's had his supper and is doing well.

Hi, Tracy, sunny pleasant 80-ish Tuesday greetings to you and your precious prince Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious boy doing well and in good spirits.
Unfortunately you don't know the "dynamics" of what is happening with the waif colony, so you can only do what you're doing in providing provisions and reassuring them they are not forgotten. Whatever their circumstances may be I'm sure they will find a way of "communicating" with you their gratitude for everything you do for them. Please let us know how they're doing.
I'm so very glad to share your news that your precious Tang is doing so well, which is not surprising with you as his Forever Dad.
Have worked a bit on financials today and placed an order with WalMart for some items which should arrive early next week. I'm saving up money toward their Shipping Pass membership which I suppose is comparable to Amazon Prime. Checked my bank account online to confirm that the Medicare premium is being automatically deducted, and saw that "in process". I don't take anything for granted when it comes to financials.
My precious Noah is doing well, which is always a blessing of good news to share with you. He is keeping me faithful company here at the big desk top as I'm writing to you. When I log off here I will get it set up to do a security scan before shutting it down.
I'm glad your travels yesterday went smoothly. One can only hope that this is a trend in improvement. I hope today is treating you kindly at work, my friend, and that your travels are safe, comfortable, dry, and expedient so that you and your precious boy can have a very peaceful, blissful, and cozy evening blessed with your beloved Sir Thomas' and princess Theresa's sweet Living Spirits to comfort you. I thank you for the blessing of your friendship, Tracy, and of your precious Tang. Please know you and your precious boy are in my thoughts and prayers, and that I always look forward to knowing how you and your precious prince Tang are doing, along with the community waifs, and to sharing your treasured memories of your beloved Sir Thomas and princess Theresa.

Hello moon_beam. Sunny and warm greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope this finds you both doing well. I don’t blame you a bit not taking anything to do with your finances for granted – as I can all too well attest. I hope your Walmart orders will be prompt.
Sadly you are right that I can’t know the dynamics of the waif colony. I can’t help but think that there is a “human” (if my neighbors can truly be called that) factor involved. Especially the way those 3 in the field yesterday seemed lost, disoriented and scared. I only saw Siamese again this morning bounding out from one of the buildings as if he/she was heading straight for me. I could not help but wonder if he/she is trying to tell me something

I just hope my angels are watching over them. I’ll keep you posted as to what happens going forward.
Tang was in good spirits this morning and I made time for some cuddles which he seemed to appreciate. I’ll let you know how he’s doing further when I get home.
The bus in to work was on time again this morning. Only the trip home will tell if any sort of “trend” is afoot. One can hope, but this one has been burned too often having hope. We’ll see.
Just counting down my time until another work day comes to and end and I think about heading home (sigh) I hope today is being kind to you and Noah and that you both have a very peaceful evening. TTFN

PS: Home safe and sound at 6:33. Hard to believe it's the same driver. But it does seem to prove my point about the feasibility of running on time. I saw one of the Tux boys in a breezeway on my way into the property to my mailbox. At least some evidence they're still around. Tang met me at the door with his usual enthusiasm

He's had his supper and is doing well.

Hi, Tracy, cloudy humid 80-ish Wednesday greetings to you and your precious prince Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious boy doing well and in good spirits.
So glad your travels yesterday were expedient. I'm hoping you are finally seeing some positive results to your complaints. Please let us know how things go.
I'm also glad you saw some of the waifs yesterday during your provisioning / travels. Perhaps there have been some new additions to the colony and they are having to broaden their territory to accomodate the population growth. You are doing everything you can for them, and I know they deeply appreciate your loving care and provision. Please let us know how they're doing.
Today has been a busy day. Took the trash upstairs to the trash bin, checked on the fuel levels in the propane tank for the emergency generator, and then turned my attention to working on a financial marathon - - reconciling the checkbook with the bank statement and then working on the bill-a-thon. Noah's provisions were delivered while working on the financials, so now have them put away. Noah has had his lunch and mine is in the final stages warming on the stove. I still need to install some MS security updates and check my emails - - so still have some "stuff" yet to do.
As always, I hope today is treating you kindly at work, my friend, and that your travels are safe, comfortable, dry, and expedient so that you and your precious boy can have a very peaceful, blissful, and cozy evening blessed with your beloved Sir Thomas' and princess Theresa's sweet Living Spirits to comfort you.

Sounds like you have had a busy and productive day. I hope you and your little man are taking some time now to relax.
Waif attendance was a little closer to normal this morning. I saw Tux Jr, Siamese, Little Gray (who followed me) and White Cat (who “talked” to me) I also saw Bobtail toward the end of the jogging path on my way to my bus stop. Their group dynamics are still a mystery to me, but I’m glad they seem to be doing OK.
Tang was in good spirits this morning and I managed to squeeze in about 15 minutes of cuddle time which we both cherish given my hectic schedule during the week. More on how he’s doing when I get home.
My bus into work was a few minutes late and the driver gave me grief over my pass; I was tempted to slap him with it. Same chatter on the radio though, so hopefully the trend will continue this afternoon (knock wood)
Just counting down my time until I can log out and put my mind toward heading home to Lt. Tang. I hope today has been kind to you and Noah and that you both have a blissful evening. TTFN

PS: Home safe and sound at 6:33. The trend continues, more or less. I still think it's more likely due to some sort of audit rather than the complaints. But whatever works. Tang greeted me at the door as usual. He's had his supper and is doing well..

Hi, Tracy, cloudy humid 70-ish Thursday greetings to you and your precious prince Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious boy doing well and in good spirits.
So glad you were able to see some of the "regular" waifs yesterday during your travels / provisioning. I know they sincerely appreciate everything you do for them.
Am also glad your travels continue to be decent time-wise, but it seems there always has to be some kind of "grief" to endure such as the driver you giving some heartburn about your pass. Oh well - - I assume he finally accepted it - - as he probably had no choice since it was obviously valid.
My precious Noah decided he didn't want cuddle time this morning opting to settle down on his bathroom window perch instead. So it was an early rise day for me because I couldn't get settled without him snuggled next to me. Was able to finish the purging of the financial records. All the records that I need to keep for historical value fit into one small storage container. The rest of the financial records that I am keeping for IRS reference purposes (dating back to 2007 and running through last year) fit in one storage container. The records in this second container will begin to be purged in a couple of years (2007, 2008) and so forth keeping records for about 8 to 9 years for reference if they are needed, then purged when they have reached their "expiration date". At least that's the plan.
I was able to get everything re-organized in time to get my precious Noah his lunch before the volunteer came to take the trash bin to the street and get my mail. We always like to have a bit of a chat, so it's better for Noah to have his lunch before she comes. My lunch is now in the final stages warming on the stove.
Just another hour or so until you're able to leave the bondage of work to go home to your precious boy who will be eagerly greeting you upon your arrival.

Sunny and 90 degrees (some first day of Fall) greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope this finds you both doing well. Sorry to hear your little man didn’t want to cuddle. I sympathize as Tang does not always go the full time when I make time to cuddle. Glad to hear your volunteer was there to help though.
Yes, the driver accepted my pass yesterday. Apparently he could not read the word “EXPRESS” emblazoned on it. One would generally expect literacy for 21.00 per hour
The waifs were back to being elusive again this morning as I only saw Siamese. He/she seems to be my new die hard. He/she is even starting to warm up to me a bit. Not sure if that’s some sort of sign though.
Tang was in good spirits this morning and I made time for cuddles although he wasn’t in for the long haul as I talked about above. More on how he’s doing when I get home.
Just about ½ an hour now until another work day is over and I can think about heading home. I hope today is being kind to you and Noah and that you both have a most pleasant evening. TTFN

PS: home safe and sound at 6:36 - trending he wrong way again

I knew he couldn't keep it up. I just hope it doesn't get much worse. Tang met me at the door as usual, the best part of the day. The worst being in the morning when I have to leave him to go to work. He's had his supper and is laying by my feet. He seems to be doing well.

Hi, Tracy, sunny warm 80-ish T G I F greetings to you and your precious prince Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious boy doing well and in good spirits.
I'm keeping you in my thoughts and prayers that the timeliness of your transportation continues in a positive trend - - at least no more (or very rare) 7 p.m. or later home arrivals. Please let us know how things go.
I can soooo relate to how you feel about the worst part of your day when you share with us "The worst being in the morning when I have to leave him to go to work." I felt exactly the same way about my furkids when I was working. The good news is that your precious boy, and you, are doing well, and your precious boy is always glad to have his Forever Dad home.
Today I finally finished up the organizing of the financial records and memorabilia items. Those items are now stored away. What used to occupy 6 large storage containers now only takes two. If the IRS should contact me about an audit for tax filings from 1980 to 2006 I will be at their mercy. Now I just have to go through the container that holds my "history" of employment records - - again - - and purge that down. I've already done a "preliminary" review of "stuff" in that container and most of it can now go to the community shred-a-thon. So that will be another large container emptied. If at some point in time I move to a smaller living space, it would be nice if all I needed to take could fit into a scarf tied over a stick slung over my shoulder. But sadly my worldly possessions "baggage" won't be quite that limited - - but I am working toward lightening the load.
Needless to say I'm really tired - - but it's a good tired feeling of an accomplished task. I will need to shift my attention to the bill-a-thon for the next several days scheduling payments, etc.. Unfortunately paying bills takes priority over cleaning out a storage container.
My precious Noah opted to snooze on his bathroom window perch again this morning after breakfast, but I was able to settle in for a little nap time until it was time to get up for the day. My precious boy has had his lunch and mine is in the final stages warming on the stove. I'm looking forward to getting settled down and resting for awhile until it's time to get my Noah his dinner. And maybe he'll come and snuggle down on my lap for awhile.
Just a little over an hour and you'll be on your way home to your precious prince Tang. I hope you'll be able to get your errands done and that your travels will get you home at a decent hour.

Sunny and warm TGIF greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope this finds you both doing well. Sorry to hear he didn’t want snuggles this morning. I hope he comes around later. Sounds like you accomplished a great deal indeed today. If you have tax records for the last 10 years, I’m pretty sure you will be OK with the IRS.
Waif attendance was sadly zero again this morning; not even Siamese

But I’ll keep on provisioning and trying to look out for them as best I can. I can only hope they are OK and my angels will watch over them.
Tang was in good spirits this morning. Not much cuddle time though for which he was not pleased. But when I do make time, he always jumps down after a few minutes the little stinker. But I still love him

More on how he’s doing when I get home.
Less than an hour to go before not only the end of the work day, but the week as well. TGIF indeed. I hope today is being kind to you and Noah and that you have a very peaceful evening. TTFN

PS: Home safe and sound at 6:53 via Dollar Tree. Not bad. There was a different driver and he was pretty much on time. I encountered what I believe to be a new tux cat coming in. No kink in the tail so it wasn't Sr and he came right up to me and let me pet him so it wasn't Other. Tang was at the door as usual, has has his supper and it well.

Hi, Tracy, sunny warm 80-ish Caturday greetings to you and your precious prince Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious boy doing well and in good spirits.
So glad you were able to get home at a decent hour yesterday evening accommodating your errand / grocery run. I hope you're able to get your chores / errands done quickly this morning so that you and your precious boy can enjoy most of this day together.
Sounds like there's a new member in the waif colony. How cute that he was making his introductions to you, as I'm sure he's heard all about you from the others in the waif community. Please let us know how things are going with them.
Tomorrow the handyman who installed my mailbox is coming to take a look at a few projects that I would like to have done and give me an estimate on what he will charge to do them for me. So this morning I did a bit of vacuuming here in the basement living quarters to try to make it somewhat decently presentable. I'm glad I have the major mess of the financial purging cleared up and those records stored again. That in itself is a major improvement. Just going to take the day slow and easy today. My precious Noah and I have some quality time catching up to do with my focus on the purging project.
Speaking of my precious Noah, we had some nice snuggle time this morning. At some point he did leave me to get up on his bathroom window perch where I found him when I finally got up for the day. He's now settled comfortably next to me keeping me company as I'm writing to you.
I hope today is treating you and your precious prince Tang kindly, my friend, and that you and your precious boy will have a very peaceful, blissful, and cozy evening blessed with your beloved Sir Thomas' and princess Theresa's sweet Living Spirits to comfort you. I thank you for the blessing of your friendship, Tracy, and of your precious Tang. Hello moon_beam. Sunny and very warm (90) Caturday greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope this finds you both doing well. Glad to hear you got some cuddle time in this morning. I hope this handyman is able to accommodate your needs at a fair price.
Up with my alarm at 5:30 this morning to start Laundry and take care of Tang's needs. I had the laundry room to myself at least until I went to get my clothes from the drier. Provisioning today I saw Siamese and Big Tabby. Waiting on the first drier cycle I spied Bobtail immediately by the pool and I petted and chatted with him for a bit.
I had to go to the library today so I had the "long" trip. I returned just before 11:00 and had some lunch which I shared a few bites with Tang. He's been throwing up a bit more than usual lately and I see whole pieces of dry food in it. So he is probably not chewing it very well (if at all) I'm going to start giving him larger portions of can food going forward to see if we can balance this out. He is otherwise doing well.
The rest of the day has been spent napping with occasional snuggles. Not much else to report. I hope today has been kind to you and Noah and that you both have a blissful evening. TTFN

Hi, Tracy, cloudy very stifling humid 60-ish Sunday greetings to you and your precious prince Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious boy doing well and in good spirits.
So glad you were able to see some of the community waifs during your travels and provisioning yesterday, and were able to spend some quality time with Bobtail. I know he, and the other waifs, are very grateful for all you do for them.
I'm so sorry your precious Tang has been having upset tummies, perhaps from not always being able to chew the dry food thorougly so that it gets "stuck" somewhere in his digestive tract thus causing a "reflux". I hope adding more canned food will help him. Please let us know how he's doing.
The handyman was here around 11 a.m. as the time agreed to, and we did a walk through of all the jobs that need to be done. He is a very kind man, and wrote down the list of everything as we discussed each item. Some projects will only take maybe 10 or 15 minutes to do, while a couple of them may take an hour or two. One of the "bigger" projects will be cleaning out the gutter guards. The company that installed them 6 years ago apparently is no longer providing this service. When I called the company a couple of weeks ago to arrange for a cleaning I was basically told to take my business elsewhere. My attempts to speak with the sales manager in charge have also been refused. Sooooo - - I am having to seek this service elsewhere.
My precious Noah is doing well. We had a nice cuddle time this morning which was very nice. Not much else happening around the homestead today. My precious boy and I are enjoying the low key day.
As always, I hope today is treating you and your precious prince Tang kindly, my friend, and that you and your precious boy will have a very peaceful, blissful, and cozy evening blessed with your beloved Sir Thomas' and princess Theresa's sweet Living Spirits to comfort you. I thank you for the blessing of your friendship, Tracy, and of your precious Tang. Hello moon_beam. Sunny and hot greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope this finds you both doing well. I'm glad to hear the handyman was there on time and will be able to accommodate your needs. I'm sorry the gutter company were such jerks though.
I woke up this morning at about 5:30 and took care of Tang's needs, then out to provision the waifs. Little Gray was the only one I saw this time. Plus I had to chase off a rather large possum

But I will keep putting out the food and providing a kind word when I see them. Since the temperature was fairly nice, I let Tang have some balcony time which he enjoyed. I don't think he enjoys it quite as much as he used to though; probably missing his sister

It's been a pretty lazy day around here. Watching TV and napping. Tang was rather aggressive with getting petting and cuddles which is fine. I gave him an even bigger portion of can food with cat milk this evening. It looked like he wasn't going to eat it all, so I pitched what wasn't eaten only to have him inform me he wasn't done - too late. Lesson learned for next time I guess. I hope this turns the tide for his occasional upset tummy.
Not much else going on, so I guess I'll settle in with my little man. I hope today has been kind to you and Noah and that you both have a most pleasant evening. TTFN

Hi, Tracy, cloudy humid 60-ish Monday greetings to you and your precious prince Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious boy doing well and in good spirits.
So glad you and your precious Tang had a good day together yesterday enjoying lots of quality time and cuddles. Am keeping your precious boy in my thoughts and prayers that his upset tummies are now in the past - - or at the very least not as frequent. Please let us know how he's doing.
Have been very busy getting bill payments scheduled online. Encountered a technical problem with the website for my Medicare medical supplement plan, so was able to pay the premium due through my bank's online bill pay. Will keep track of that to make sure it goes through properly. Everything else went okay. Tomorrow I will make an errand run to the post office to mail the payments I cannot make online and pick up some more stamps.
My precious Noah and I had a lovely sleep in snuggle this morning. Had a little later start to the day than originally planned, but it was worth the extra time with my precious boy. He is now letting me know I have spent enough time on this contraption - - letting me know he needs more cuddles. I also need to get it set up to do the security scan before I shut it down, so guess I had better "get busy."
Hello moon_beam. Cool and occasionally rainy day greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope this finds you both doing well. I’m glad to hear you were able to get some morning cuddles. Sorry to hear about the Medicare web site glitch and hope your online bank payment goes through OK.
Feeding the waifs this morning I saw Siamese and Little Tabby (hiding in the bushes as usual) and as I made my way to the other end, I saw Tux Jr. We chatted and he followed me to the feeding place of that area. He’s really getting around which makes me wonder if he’s stepped up to perimeter guard. If so, it would explain Tux Sr’s long absence in that perhaps he’s gone to the Bridge? I hope not as it would make me so
Tang was in good spirits this morning even though we didn’t have too much cuddle time. No vomiting the last couple days, so I’m keeping my fingers crossed. More on how he’s doing when I get home.
Back to back calls sporadically today due to the usual corporate nonsense behind the scenes. That being said, I’m counting down my time to when my shift ends and I can turn my thoughts toward heading home to Tang.
I hope today is being kind to you and Noah and that you both have a very peaceful evening. TTFN

Hi, Tracy, now sunny humid 70-ish Tuesday greetings to you and your precious prince Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious boy doing well and in good spirits.
So glad you were able to see some of the waifs yesterday during your provisioning / travels. I share your concern for the status of Tux Sr. I hope you will be pleasantly surprised to see him again soon - - at least to know he's still in this earthly realm. Please let us know how the community waifs are doing.
I was able to get my errand run to the post office done this morning, and also stopped into the dumpster site next to the post office to drop off some plastics and newspapers into the recycling bins. This is my first attempt to do this since last November. It went okay. Signs are still up about an attendant being onsite but no one is there yet. I have quite a lot of items for the special trash bins which are scheduled to be on site this coming weekend. It would have been nice if an attendant were there to help load the stuff into the bin, but that won't be an option this time.
My precious Noah is doing well. We had a nice snuggle time this morning before starting the day. He is now settled comfortably next to me keeping me company as I'm writing to you.
So glad your homeward travels yesterday were expedient. It's always nicer getting home to your precious Tang sooner than later especially after being gone all day.

Sunny and very pleasant day’s greetings to you and your precious Noah. I hope this finds you both doing well. I’m sorry to hear the recycling facility had no attendant on duty to help you today. Could one of the volunteers help you with that in the future perhaps? Just a suggestion.
Provisioning this morning only had Tux Jr again coming at me from the far end. He gave me a “thank you” head butt and proceeded to chow down with gusto. Perhaps an alternate food source is no longer available to him? I’m just glad to help as always. I’m keeping thoughts and prayers for Tux Sr and the others.
Tang was in good spirits this morning as I tried to squeeze in some cuddle time. He seems well and I will update how he’s doing when I get home.
About the same at work today (sigh) I had to replace 2 terminals that a so called “senior” agent fried by not making sure they had an up to date OS before trying to download them. I guess that’s why they get the big bucks

Just counting down my time until the end of my shift so I can put my mind toward getting home to Tang.
I hope today is being kind to you and Noah and that you both have a blissful evening. TTFN

PS: Home safe and sound at 6:28 again - pinch me I must be dreaming. Pretty sure this is a different driver. Tang welcomed me at the door as usual, the best part of the day

He's had his supper and a brief jaunt to the balcony. Now he's laying by my feet. He is doing well.

Hi, Tracy, cloudy sometimes sunny humid 70-ish Wednesday greetings to you and your precious prince Tang from my precious Noah and me. I hope this finds you and your precious boy doing well and in good spirits.
Sounds like Tux Jr is "holding the fort" at the moment. How nice that he greeted you before chowing down on the provisions. I'm keeping all the community waifs in my thoughts and prayers that they are safe, and I know your beloved Sir Thomas and princess Theresa are looking after them as well. Please let us know how they're doing.
Thank you for your thoughtful concern about my stopping by the dumpster sight yesterday to use the recycling bins. The volunteer who helps me on Thursdays is also helping me with the larger recycling items that need to go to the regional center located in the city. Since I needed to go to the post office I wanted to "test the waters" so to speak of my ability to once again take care of some recycyling things, and yesterday's effort showed me that I can. This is progress in broadening my abilities with my "new normal."
In this same light, as I mentioned to you yesterday, I had a lot of items that needed to go to the special trash bins that would be at the dumpster site this weekend. However, the bin is so large and very high off the ground that I just didn't feel up to trying to pitch things from ground level up and over the bin this time - - still with no attendant on site yet, and no promise that a Good Samaritan would come along to help me. So I was able to load up the car and took everything to the main landfill this morning. There are two bins that are below ground level that you can drive up to and pitch things from your car into the bins - - much easier on the arms and back. As I was unloading the car a gentleman drove up next to me in his bright shiny red pick up truck to unload his "stuff" and he helped me unload my car with the larger and heavier items. That was very kind of him. I wanted to make the trip to the main landfill also as part of "testing" my abilities with my "new normal." In driving to the landfill I now know that I am strong enough to drive to my brother's home in Bedford - - which has been a goal for me to strive toward. This is very good news indeed.
The next major project will be taking the purged documents to the community shred-a-thon whenever that will be.
I got home sooner than I thought I would, and my precious Noah was glad to see me. He is now stretched out next to me keeping me faithful company as I'm writing to you. I'm looking forward to spending the rest of the day focused on my precious boy.
I'm so glad you got home to your precious Tang at an acceptable time yesterday evening. I am keeping you in my thoughts and prayers that this trend will continue and become the "new normal" for you.
