Today we went waling along the Highlands neighborhood (a kind of eclectic area of town) and topped it off with a nice soup/salad/fruit bar at Big Boy.

She reprovisoioned her bag at her apartment, then we ran a few errands and ate here now. I'm about to give Tang his insulin in a while as he's had his supper already. Then we will all settle in for the evening.

This morning I saw Tux Jr and Little Gray during provisioning. I hope the rest are doing well.

We had some trouble this morning trying to claim our first UE check and had to wait over an hour on hold to talk to a live case worker. Turns out we should have said "no" to the separation question as it meant did we find work and were separated again He said it looked like both our payments processed but we should check the IVR tomorrow. We should both get our separation pay from Vantiv Friday too.


Other than various errands such as dropping of Mother's Day/birthday gifts/cards to her mom, it's been a fairly quiet day. We are back here now and getting ready to settle in for the evening. Tang has had his supper and is settling in too but not before playing with his toys with Anne as I post this He is well.

Waif attendance was pretty good this morning. Tux Jr was at the first spot. Little Gray and Bobtail were at the second, and Tux Sr was bringing up the rear at the third.

Anne was able to fix her laptop with a repair/scan. Thanks for the well wishes on that. I had my checkup today and we were both able to get our RX at CVS. We then did some food shopping at Kroger and are back here via a swing by her apartment to reprovision. I'll be glad when my lease is up in January and we can stop all this "living out of a bag" stuff and find a better place.

Today has been busy doing chores with my precious boy keeping me company in the process. Received a call late yesterday from my regular MD's office letting me the test he ran to try to determine the source of my anemia came back negative - - which I knew it would. He wants me to come to the office for a follow up blood test in a couple of weeks to see if the iron supplement is beginning to make a difference. My brother will be taking me on Tuesday, 6/6 in the morning. So we'll see what happens with that.

This morning while provisioning I saw Siamese and Tux Jr again at the first spot, White Cat at the second and Bobtail by the pool; not a bad turnout.

Today we went back to Anne's apartment so she could do her laundry and reprovision. We had some lunch, did the grocery shopping and went to Lenscrafters at the mall. I made an appointment online yesterday for an exam so I could use my insurance before it runs out after 05/31. I ended up paying about twice what I did last time (that was in 2003) But I had to get bifocals this time. Still, I only paid about 20% of what I would have had to pay w/o insurance. My glasses have to be special ordered and should be ready anywhere from a few days to a week.

Thought I would stop by and say hello. Everything is about the same around here. I saw a white butterfly today. I already have flowers blooming in pots on the patio. Socks still comes by. He still has a raw spot on his jaw. It will look better and then worse, I guess because he scratches it.

This morning while provisioning I saw Tux Jr and one of the orange tabbies at the first spot. The latter was too timid to step up while Tux Jr was there so Tux followed me down to the second spot. Heading away from the third sot I saw Little Gray.

I posted for some more jobs online this morning. Then we went out for some lunch and to run some errands. Anne got a good deal on a duffel bag for her supplies that needed replaced. Then we went back to her apartment so she could put it to use.

We are back here now where Tang has had his supper and insulin. He and we are settling in for the evening now.

This mornings feeding brought Siamese and Tux Jr to the first spot. But it also brought that big orange and white cat. So Siamese patiently waited her turn and Tux Jr followed me down to the 2nd spot. Up at the 3rd spot I saw Bobtail, Tux Sr and White Cat out of the corner of my eye.

Anne and I went to her bank today to open up a savings account as her severance was twice mine and she gets the full UE payments where as I do not. This will help when we move at the end of the year. We are still looking into apartments in the general area. We then had some lunch and walked around one of the Peddlers Malls.
