Thank you for coming into this world. I am so angry and sad at the way people treated such a beautiful creature when you were a little puppy. But at least they had a little good in their hearts to throw you over the fence into the best possible place you could be on earth - The Gentle Barn. These gentle, loviing people did their best to save your life. They held you all the time. Once they picked you up, your tiny paws never again touched the ground. That's how much they love you. And God bless them, they shared your story and your picture with millions of people all over the world. You are the "star" of all those millions - all of them love you. Can you hear the hum?

It snowed here today for the first time this season. I'll bet you'd have like the snow. I can just picture you running and jumping in it, chasing snow balls all over the place. I sent Kelley and Dreamer out to do it for you!

I still see your picture every time I am on the computer and I always send good thoughts your way. If you had to be somewhere at the end, I'm so glad that you had the loving arms of The Gentle Barn to surround you with love. Aren't they wonderful??

In our group which is fighting for "the Dad" (ask Gretta or Rufus about him) we need your innocence, your puppy face that tells us that at one time things were beautiful and loving and cuddly and fuzzy - when you were in the arms of the gentle Gentle Barn. Even you, the most innocent being of all, had a person who hurt you and didn't think a thing of it. People do that to each other all the time. The good are few and far between my little guy.

But you and your life and your picture are what our little team needs to remind us that when the bad people are doing their best to smash others who can't fight back, there IS a way out.

We need your help today. Trevor's mom has become very very sikc and Gretta and Rufus and Trevor are organizing everyone they know up there for a prayer hum. Since animals don't speak in human words, they can pray by humming. I've asked Rufus and Gretta to gather togeth all the animals they know in the perfect Wolrd and go to the feeet of the Good Shepherd and plead for her life. All it takes is to hum. Benji-boo, you are a very powerful animal because of what you went through here on earth. Your hum will add power to the prayer-hum. Rufus or Grettta or Trevor or one of their cousins will comme to get you and please bring all of your friends, too. Thank you SO much Baby Benji.
