People are so goofy. Before Trevor's mom can go home, everybody has to write a whole bunch of stuff on a whole bunch of papers! Not like doggies, who can just walk on over to where they want to be! Well, yesterday all of Trevor's mom's papers didn't get done so she had to sleep one more night in the big sick hospital. But she's going home to Dreamer (aka Binky) and Kelley (aka Baby Boy) today.

I could never forget a brave little puppy whi was deprestely sick but who felt the path to safety lit up and no matter how much it hurt and how hopeless it seemed, found his way into the loving arms of the Gentle Barn. These wonderful people loved you so much that your feet never touched the ground after that - everyone took turns holding you. In fact Trevor's mom has a picture of you in one of their laps. They did their best but it was your time to go back to the Perfect World. Just remember you touched the hearts of hundreds of people around this big world - just by your love and courage. Small dog, huge blessings.

Good morning Baby Benjamin

Good morning you gentle little puppy. Good morning to everybody who loves you. Good morning to the wonderful Gentle Barn people who caught you when a horrid person threw you over their fence. Thank you to them again for hopdling you in their arms 24/7 for your last four days on this earth. Thank you for giving all of us a beautiful, loving story to put in our hearts and take out when we need it ( like I do today).

Baby Benji, could you hip-hop over to the door of the Perfect World and look for a BIG, furry grey and white dog named George (on earth here we call these dogs Old English Sheep Dogs - they are great big friendly puppies all their lives). And for a beautiful black and white kitty named Pretty (good name, you'll see). Please let them know that their mommies miss then so much that thier tears are making a river and that they need some reassurance that they are OK and in the perfect World. You might take Hermie the Bunny with you, too, if he's around. I'm sure both of them would love Hermie.

Baby Benji, could you yip and yap and call together a big group of animals and have a prayer-hum for Trevor's mom. Maybe put out a special call for all those animals who don't have anybody on earth to cry for them. You know why.

Scares and tears and fear happened today - all things tha you in your little life had so much of. Thank you Baby Benji for showing us that if we have courage, even if somebody thinks they're throwing us over a fence into a tarpit, the fence they are throwing us over is into the arms of a a gentle barn.

I love you baby benji - and all of the fur, feature, fin and scale-babies who don't have anybody to tell them how really GOOD they are and that they ARE remembered and loved.

Tomorrow all of us are going far away to Trevor's old house. All of us are going: you, me, Gretta, Rufus, Baby Lion, Spirit Dog, Big Bear, Pushba, and Trevor (most in pictures, of course). Trevor's mom is very very sick and willl be comming to the perfect World very soon. I want to be with her and take care of her as long as she is on this earth. We will be driving in the car and it will take two days. Then we will get to see two earth-side dogs, both cocker spaniels: Dreamer, a black and white spotted dog, very sweet and cuddly. Dreamer loves to lick people's face. I call Dreamer "Binky" The other one is Kelley, black, nine years old and by far the more active of the two. He's kind of wild but when I call him "Baby Boy" he calms down.

Benji, I will need your love very very much in the next few months. You saw how much we cried for you when you went to the perfect World. Well, Trevor's dad and I will be crying a hundred t imes more for Trevor's mom. You guys will be happy because you will be together and happy and healthy and will have forgotten all the sadness and loneliness there is on earth here.

Thank you for coming with us, Benji-baby. You are a needed member of this troupe.

You must have been on the job today. Trevor's mom had a good day until she did something that lost of dogs do: ate way too much. her stomach deosn't work very well so it gets too full and then she has to throw up. I wish I could do something to help her. I feel very bad that she feels so sick. Baby benji, you had two lives: what must have been a terrible life with someone who was horrible enough to throw you over the fence into the Gentle Barn when you were very sick. At least this person threw you little baby into a place where he knew you would get taken care of. They say that after they picked you up for the first time, your baby feet never touched the ground. everybody wanted to hold you and love you. And like Trevor and his mom, you were too sick to get well. The best of human medicine and love could not save your earthly life so you went on to the Perfect World, where you came from.

we love you Baby Benjamin. You have a name and a face and a picture on Trevor's mom's wall. live well, baby benji. You so deserve it. Babies of any kind can have done nothing wrong, so they go immediately to the perfect world, where they are happy, well, well-fed, comfortable, have coo shade to rest in, warm sun to play in, and have the love of the Divine Master who made us all.

Thank you for having lived, Baby Benji. You've taught me a lot about love. I'll never forget you BB. I'll love you forever.

When the world was trying to kill you, they threw you over a wall - right into the arms of the Gentle Barn! Yes, you soon went to the Perfect World, but during that time you were at the Gentle Barn, your little feet never touched the ground. Somebody was always holding you in their arms. Please help me to be like you when sickness is trying to take Trevor's mom's life. Help me to be a Gentle Barn and hold her in my arms as best I can.

Trevor's brother got ina BIG trouble today when he got hold of a bag of salty treats and wouldn't give them up and the three of us humans who should have known better ran screaming around, spraying him with water, trying to get the plastic bag away from him so he wouldn't choke to death or have it get stick in hiw stomach and possibly die. Trevor's dad got bruised (not bitten) and got really mad. He and Trevor's mom yelled at each other and it was a very upsetting scene for everybody.

Please send down some of your love rays to Trvor's dad because he really doesn't like Trevor's brother Kelly and he might even hate him and you know how dogs can tell tha and I think Kelly's heart must be breaking and maybe that is what makes him misbehave so much. Anyway, I think Kelly needs some love - and he'll get it from me after Trevor's mom and dad go upstairs to bed. But he really needs some puppy love and who better to give his little heart some than you - the baby who was cruelly thrown away but the trick was on whoever did that to you because they threw you right into the loving arms of the Gentle Barn.

Benji - Put on your party hat today and bounce on over to Gretta and Rufus! They're having a gathering today and are going to gather all their relatives and friends and go to thank the Big Kind Man (we call Him God) up there in the Perfect World for another miracle He worked for Trevor's mom.

As you know, she was very very sick and almost died. God worked his miracle and made her better enough so she could go to where I live (it's FAR - you have to take an airplane) and visit her dad. No daughter ever love a father more than she loved hers and no father ever loved a daughted more than her father loved her. She was SO sick that we thought she might die and we surely never thought she would ever be well enough to go all that way to see her dad. And her dad is very old and lives in a big hospital-like place and we thought - with great sadness in our hearts - that he might die without ever seeing his daughter again. But the Big Kind Man (we call Him God) had another idea - He made her well enough to take this trip and hug her father like the people at the Gentle Barn held you when you got to them. It may be the last time they see each other on earth - but the DID see each other and hug each other and smile at each other and share a most powerful love with each other just one more time. There is so much happiness in my heart I can hardly keep it inside.

Thank you for coming into our lives, Baby Benjamin, even though your life with us on earth was short and hurt a lot. Gentle Barn loved you and held you in your arms until you passed into the Perfect World. Benjamin, you have the love and the wisdom of all the ages of history. Please know that people on earth have and do love you.
