Mommy is off today and trying to keep herself busy. I wanted to paint the kitchen walls and ceiling (remember where we had a little fire accident) but daddy is not sure he can trust me with that. So let's see if I can just convince him that it is not a big deal... I just want to make sure the walls are ready when the kitchen cabinets arrive in a few days (they were taken to the cabinet place for resurfacing).

I guess I can also do things around the house, there is always something to do.

I will post some pictures of Rhett when he arrives home. He is a sweetheart and very handsome.
I know Gizy would have loved to have a brother to play with and chase each other.
I talk to Gizy all the time and when I decided to get him a brother or sister I kept asking Gizy to point me in the right direction, help me find the brother or sister he wanted to have. Rhett came into our lives by true coincidence... I believe my little angel helped the stars to align.

Thank you so much for stoping by my post, it has been several months since my baby was taken from me and it still hurts, but comforting words like yours always help, I read your experience and I can see why you say that you can relate to me, I'm so sorry that you have to go through something as traumatic as this, I wish no one ever experience this, something that could have been prevented if people just paid attention, if people just look around...

There are so many things that I want to tell you, as I read your story I wanted to reply to every one of your post, but I guess that it will take to long to write and to read.

Be sure, that Gizy hand picked Rhett for you, because you had a lot of opportunities of adopting another baby and for one reason or another never happen until Rhett cross your path, I see that as a sign that you and Rhett belong together.

I'm sure that my Tino and your Gizy must be friends by now, both young, healthy and deeply loved, I can almost see them playing together.

Can I ask you to say a prayer for my girl Kika? She is sick now, must likely she won't get thru the month, she is the one who brought me back to this forum (well, I stop from time to time to talk with Tino and tell him that I miss him so much)

I wish I could tell you that your pain will go away, but I can't, I still cry for my boy, and many days I wonder how it will be if he was still with us, sometimes I even hear him around the house, but I can assure your pain will be more manageable, and that you will smile again, specially with the little boy that is coming your way, please let me know how everything goes for you and little Rhett.

Dear Tino's mom,

Thank you so much for your post. It will be 2 months on Saturday since my little baby was taken away from me. 2 months, but it is not getting any easier. I miss him every day and there hasn't been a day that I didn't cry.
Last night I was crying so hard while driving home, tears were covering my eyes and I could barely see... The loss of my sweet little boy affected me tremendously... I miss his so much...
I will definitely say a prayer for the little girl Kika. God bless her and give her strength to survive and be a healthy little baby girl.

Gizy, time goes by so fast and it's already 2 months and 9 days since you left. But the pain in mommy's heart does not go away or become easier. Baby, I still can't talk about you without tears in my eyes. Yesterday at work I was telling one lady about you but I couldn't speak, words wouldn't come out of my mouth, I felt like I was choking and just tears covered my eyes completely... Baby, I miss you so much with all my heart. Please forgive me for not fully protecting you from those dogs, I tried so hard baby... I wish I never took you with us that day but I wanted you to enjoy and run around.

Whew, what a busy day today... Gizy, mommy has been running around since this morning.

I took Rhett to the vet today, not yours but we found one closer to the house.
He was tested for heartwom, thank goodness the test came back negative and we also got him microchipped. Wow, I didn't know they used a think needle to implant the chip. You probably don't remember because you were a baby when you got microchipped.
Rhett was very brave, I am so proud of your brother.
He is sleeping right now, I think he might be in a little bit of pain. I feel bad but it had to be done for his own good.

We also got him a health insurance, the same company you had insurance with.

Gizy, I miss you sweet boy. I think about you constantly, you are my little boy and you always will be in my thoughts.

I really think you and Rhett would be the best buddies, you are so much alike, both so sweet and loving, playful and full of energy.

Hello my baby boy. How are you my sweetie? Anything interesting you want to tell your mommy? I just want to hear from you baby, I would love for you to visit me in my dreams again. A few days ago I could feel you jumping on my bed, you woke me up you jumped so hard lol. Rhett is so much fun and he keeps mommy smiling. Did you see how he loves to play soccer?! I can't stop laughing when he is laying on his back and swinging all his 4 paws in the air playing with the ball.
Did you see he built a little tent under my recliner chair with the blanket that's hanging off the chair? He moved it all around and it looks like a little tent. You did something similar like that, remember?

Gizy, I love you so much baby! It is coming up on three months of your absence on this earth but you will always live in my heart and my memory... I can't believe it's been that long. When you left me baby I didn't think I would last a day...

Thank you for checking on us... Life is definitely very unpredictable and we have to appreciate every minute with our loved ones.
You are so right, I have enough love in my heart for both of my little boys - Gizy and Rhett. I don't have to stop loving Gizy in order for me to love Rhett very much, both of them have a very special place in my heart. We, the animal lovers, have such big hearts that we have plenty of love to give.
I would like to think that Gizy is proud of his mommy because I am definitely very proud of him, his wonderful personality, intelligence and kindness. From an adorable fluffy little baby he grew to be a handsome young boy and the best furry son a mom can wish for. Sadly for me he was chosen to become a wonderful little angel too soon and he is missed here on this earth very much.
