Dearest Alex, where I am on this big blue marble we call earth, it is now October the 11th. The last day I ever saw your beautiful loving self and kissed you as they took you away from me and ... "The plans they made put an end to you." It surprises the heck out of me that I ain't screaming with horror, crying hysterically and . . . You see . . .
Thoughts of you being In The Arms of the Angels bring me so much Peace. Well, at this moment in time anyway. Alex, I mean to tell you that I searched through at least 35 to 45 different videos of this song to find the one with the images I want you to have. So very beautiful! All the other videos I watched had such sad, sad, pictures and images. I sure don't want that for you especially since you're where you are, happy, healthy, talking, singing, laughing, having tons of fun with lots of pals.
This song sure does hit home for me too though. Talking about that "dark cold hotel room" where they took me while doing to you what they did. That sure does fit what happened. And the line that goes: "And everywhere you turn there's vultures and thieves at your back." Holy crap. Did the composer of this song know? I mean ... Dang!

Today is October 13th and one year to the day since I last heard Alex's sweet voice as he spoke to me on the phone when I made one of my calls from the hotel room where I was staying to see how he and my other fur kids were doing while my home was being tented for fumigation. For My Most Cherished Beloved Feather Child Alex. This song reminds me so much of you and me together. Hi Precious Angel Alex! Guess what? Your Mama actually got some sleep last night after four days of not even a nap. About five to six hours of full, uninterrupted sleep. Woo Hoo! From time to time people tell me, "Lighten up. It's just a bird." Or, "That's a lot of money for just a bird."
They don't understand the distance traveled, the time spent, or the costs involved for "just a bird."
Some of my proudest moments have come about with "just a bird."
Many hours have passed and my only company was "just a bird." But, I did not once feel slighted.
Some of my saddest moments have been brought about by "just a bird" and in those days of darkness the gentle touch of "just a bird" gave me comfort and reason to overcome the day.

"Just a bird" brings into my life the very essence of friendship, trust and pure unbridled joy.
"Just a bird" brings out the compassion and patience that make me a better person.
Because of "just a bird," I will rise early and look longingly to the future.
So, for me and folks like me it's not "just a bird" but an embodiment of all the hopes and dreams of the future, the fond memories of the past and the pure joy of the moment.
"Just a bird" brings out what's good in me and diverts my thoughts away from myself and the worries of the day.
I hope that someday they can understand that it's not "just a bird." But, it is the thing that gives me humanity and keeps me from being "just a human."

It's been a while since I spoke with you here. But, I think about you so much that I sometimes forget to breathe. Looking up into the beautiful night sky takes on a whole new meaning since you crossed over. Please don't think of the sky as sadness, sorrow or grief because it is blue. Give that lovely color a whole new different meaning ...
Blue, to me, is not cold, distant or uncaring. Blue is floating, unrestrained and without fear ... Reaching for the sky and beyond ... Stretching unbridled to gently pluck from the Heavens the furthest star. Feel the blue of its brilliance, Alex! Feel the blue!
Alex, you are that one, unique, brilliant star that keeps burning so brightly!
And, you'd best believe I'll continue to "tell your story" so others will know how amazing you were in all you said and did. My hope and prayer is that everyone I speak with and share things about you ... Dear Alex, You are so lucky to have a mom that loves you so much. Well, I wasn't happy with the last image I made of Patches saying Hi to you and singing. The blue inner border was far too dark. So, I enlarged the photo just a bit, enlarged everything in it, added more shimmer to Patches Halo and made that blue border lighter. Everything else is the same, just a bit bigger. Lots prettier now. Please see the replaced image in the other forum, okay? I hope you and Angel Patches like it.

Hi, my Most Precious Feather Child Alex! I don't believe that you and I ever saw this movie together since it came out in 2007 and had probably not come to TV yet. Still, I know you would have loved it! It's an awesome story showing how we're all connected in space and time. Just like you and me, Sweet Baby Boy. Here, I'll set it up for you just a bit then show you some scenes. Oh, and I'm certain you'll love the music throughout the entire movie very much, too. Let me tell you a little about the movie plot so you can follow along in the video.
Siblings Noah and Emma travel with their mother Jo from Seattle to their family cottage on Whidbey Island to spend a couple of days while their father David Wilder is working. There in the ocean, they discover a box of toys from the future and bring it home. Emma finds a stuffed rabbit called Mimzy, some stones and a weird object. But, they hide their findings from their parents. Stuffed bunny Mimzy talks telepathically with Emma and the siblings begin to develop special abilities increasing their intelligence to the level of genius.
Their father becomes very proud when Noah presents a magnificent design in the fair of science and technology and his teacher Larry White along with Larry's mystic wife Naomi Schwartz become interested in the boy when he draws a picture of a Mandala even though the child has never seen one before and doesn't even know what it means. Then Noah accidentally assembles the objects and activates a powerful generator creating a blackout in the state. The FBI locates and arrests the family trying to disclose the mystery.
But, Emma unravels the importance to send Mimzy back to the future. And why is that? Mimzy is the last hope which was sent by a Scientist living on earth many light years into the future. It's an intergalactic package that the kindly, hard working and very worried Scientist had sent several other times in the past in hopes of obtaining DNA which would save their dying planet earth, their existence and assure us a most magnificent, wondrous future filled with Beauty, Hope, Love, and magic, too! There was no success before Emma.
Thanks to the children Emma and Noah, our future was saved from dying. They are Heroes and Emma is named the Mother of the new and exciting earth civilization after Mimzy was returned to the future. You see, she had shed tears on Mimzy bunny when she thought Mimzy was sick and dying. Those tears on Mimzy bunny were exactly what the scientist was looking for in order to gather the sorely needed DNA he required to turn the dead earth back to life. This movie truly unleashes an adventure beyond imagination. See, Alex? Time can indeed be transcended! I hope you like the pictures and graphics I chose in keeping with the theme of the move. Then Noah accidentally assembles the objects and activates a powerful generator creating a blackout in the state. The FBI locates and arrests the family trying to disclose the mystery.
But, Emma unravels the importance to send Mimzy back to the future. And why is that? Mimzy is the last hope which was sent by a Scientist living on earth many light years into the future. It's an intergalactic package that the kindly, hard working and very worried Scientist had sent several other times in the past in hopes of obtaining DNA which would save their dying planet earth, their existence and assure us a most magnificent, wondrous future filled with Beauty, Hope, Love, and magic, too! There was no success before Emma.
Thanks to the children Emma and Noah, our future was saved from dying. They are Heroes and Emma is named the Mother of the new and exciting earth civilization after Mimzy was returned to the future. You see, she had shed tears on Mimzy bunny when she thought Mimzy was sick and dying. Those tears on Mimzy bunny were exactly what the scientist was looking for in order to gather the sorely needed DNA he required to turn the dead earth back to life. This movie truly unleashes an adventure beyond imagination. See, Alex? Time can indeed be transcended! I hope you like the pictures and graphics I chose in keeping with the theme of the move. Hello there my Sweet Baby Boy Alex. I don't know quite why, but a few days ago this song came to my mind to give you. So, I searched for the perfect video and found this one which has many stars, galaxies and other celestial bodies within our universe. I know you'll love it, Sweetie! I had the perfect image in mind that I'd seen before and wished to give you along with this song and awesome, incredible, mystical, magical, marvelous galactic journey. Then, something remarkable happened!
When I did my very first google image search to find the image of birds in God's Hands, I located it immediately. But, it was one of hundreds of photographs, graphics and images on someone's MySpace page. Someone who I don't even know. There were nine pages of messages and images to look through at that person's MySpace page and I didn't see it even though I had searched all nine pages. Me give up? Never!
At that point, I had another go at finding the image I wished to give you and paid very close attention to each and every message, photo, graphic and image going backwards from page nine back to page one. Guess what? It was on the very first page and I had missed it. Now, I know there's a reason that I didn't see it the first time ...
You know Jan, Alex. Right? Well, on my way back from page nine, I saw four images of her most precious Angel Fur Kids Noushka and Tasha and clicked on the properties of each one to get the URL codes and post them on Jan's thread telling her what I'd found while looking for the birds in God's Hands graphic. Alex, each and every photo of Noushka and Tasha held specific meaning for Jan. Wow! And, it just so happens that her Angel Fur Kids sent those signs just when Jan needed them the most. Isn't that wonderful, Alex? You bet!
I decided to retrace my steps to give Jan that link so she could see for herself. Back to google image search and guess what happened then? Upon two different searches, I found the image again, but it led me to two other Websites. Both of them were you sending signs to me as well as to Madi! Amazing! Thank you so very much my Most Cherished Immortal Beloved for sending those signs to me letting me know you're home and tremendously happy! And, I know you'll wait there for me with Kenny until that One Sweet Day when we'll all be reunited for all Eternity. Oodles and boodles of sloppy kisses to you my darling Feather Child!!!
