Dearest Kim, Beth, Eva, Judy, Ken, Jon, and Jorge,

In the midst of all the other turmoil going on in our life, this is the BEST news!! I've got to tell you, after losing Nickels and my 3 other Best Friends (including my childhood best friend since I was 3 because Cancer Treatment Center wouldn't recognize her insurance company!) these past two years, when I first felt the lump on Jasper, I thought, "That's it, here we go again, I'll just resign myself to losing this guy too". Then cried myself to sleep.

Jasper was a gift. I must have looked at over 1000 kittens on PetFinder.com. He wasn't as much a gift for me, but, more for Frankee. I felt soooo guilty scolding Frankee for being a kitten when he jumped on one of the elderly ladies in the past year. My Husband and I have actually come up with the phrase, "Stop being a kitten!" But we don't say it mean, we just laugh and it reminds us of what we are complaining about. Anyway, it doesn't effect Frankee OR Jasper. They pay us "no never mind". What we all complain about in the beginning is what we all miss in the end. We absolutely cherish the kitten phase. Let them break nick nacks, and claw the curtains. The nick nacks and curtains never jumped up in my lap or snuggled up with me at night.

Buck was actually an hour late leaving the house this morning since Jasper and Frankee were having an incredibly entertaining play session. After all of our losses we've learned, you have to take time for the important things. If I can ever find the battery and charger to this camera, I'll post the pictures!

Just like you all love my kitty's, I love your babies too. I wish I could hug you all. I'm sorry I havn't been there like I should and feel a bit selfish for not posting for so long.

Nickels has the BEST of friends at the Rainbow Bridge to keep him entertained until I arrive. Beth, though I know Goliath is the smallest puppy Nickels ever laid eyes on, I know he is keeping him especially close. That's just the way Nickels was, protective and loving. Judy, Little Guy and Nickels are taking turns nipping at each others toes playfully and are best buddies. Kim, Mink and Willow are giving my Nickels Double Trouble but then I can see them all laying next to each other and licking each others heads. Eva, your Felice is in my Nickels heart. He's not letting her out of his sight she is so beautiful! And Mikki, your Elliott! I love the name Elliott. I can't wait to see his pictures when you are ready to post them. Elliot is my favorite character on Law and Order. But Elliott the cat, well just refer to Nickels story when he brought two buddies home. They are the best of friends! If someone has photoshop and knows how to use it, I would love to see a picture of all our Rainbow Bridge Kitties together! No, Jon, I havn't forgotten your Cat Wife Miles! Nickels and Miles will be telling everybody when it is time to turn in!! Ken, I watched your tribute to Daddy Cat after I lost Nickels. It moved me so deeply, the tears poured down my cheeks. I will never forget that tribute. AND Especially, Jorge. No one should EVER have to endure what you have gone through. My heart goes out to you above all others. Your words of kindness and hope mean more than I can say. We are ALL Blessed to have you here on LS.

Thanks to all of you! I know Jasper and Frankee has the best friends this side of the Rainbow Bridge, and the best Guardian Angels on the other side. Bless all of you and your kids! I'm in absolute tears thinking about all of them!

I didn't forget precious Bono. I know he is one of Nickels special puppy friends. Nickels was always a sucker for a "pretty face". I keep checking in to see if Darcey has come home. You are always in my Prayers.
