Eagle's doing really well...

He is sleeping more...and loving to sleep up on the blankets and the pillows...more than he used to...

He's settling in to more normal eating habits but he still is drinking more water than he did before...

I praise God daily for this awesome miracle...

I hope your move went well, and that Eagle's landing adventure leads to lots of great stories over Thanksgiving. What a beautiful story! I read all the posts and finished up with the newspaper link. It is a true miracle! This should give hope to others in the same spot. I once lost a couple of dogs for a number of hours and was driving around, freezing with windows down and calling out their names. They were eventually found standing on a street corner 1/2 block from home but they stayed together and I felt blessed I found them. I cannot imagine holding on for so long but I also can understand because I would never give up hope of finding my babies as long as I have a breath.

I am so glad to read this absolutely wonderful story. Many years of health and happiness are wished for you and Eagle. Your family is whole again. God Bless You. He certainly was watching over the both of you all this time.

Hi everyone!

Just wanted to let you know that it's the ONE MONTH ANNIVERSARY of this miracle!

Eagle has been doing really well...

He's not as skiddish as he used to be...he is more confident and will stay around other people...something he hardly ever did before...

He's letting people take him out to the bathroom...not just me...

Before this happened he would only let the friends who watched him right before he ran away...

He's let my sister (and that was a total shock) and he's also let my friend!

He's leveled off on drinking water and on eating his food...

I'm going to take him to the doctor hopefully next week to see how he's doing and to have his ears checked and to see how much weight he has gained...
