I know that the next couple of days are going to oh so hard for so many of you and I would just like to say that you will all be in my thoughts.
If you are finding it just too hard to face then try and rethink what Christmas is about, do things that you would not normally do on Christmas day.
Give your time to that neighbour who will be on his or her own all day, just a cup of tea and a chat.
Take a walk/drive around and see all the lights, I heard on the telly that someone in England pays a £500 electric bill every Christmas.
Don’t drink and have a drive around visiting all your family and friends.
A neighbour of mine whose son is a *^) is going to the salvation army to feed the homeless then eat there herself with another friend who is going to be on her own all day.
Help out at the local pet rescue for a few hours.
Have a pamper day with candles and a long luxurious bath, pedicure etc.
Just a few suggestions - of course I know you wont do any of these, staying at home and having a good cry and feeling sorry for ourselves is sometimes just what the doctor order.
I will be looking in from time to time to make sure none of you are too depressed.
Love always
Sue
