NOT ONLY HAVE I HAD A PROBLEM LOOKING AT MOOSES PICTURES FOR THE LAST 7 WKS, HE IS NOW IN THE PLACE THAT WAS SO EMPTY JUST A FEW DAYS AGO..HE DESERVES TO HAVE HIS BUEATIFUL FACE THERE FOR ALL TO SEE. OH HOW I MISS HIM, IT HAS BEEN SO SO HARD, I HAVE CRIED SO MUCH, I STILL CANT BELEIVE THIS HAS HAPPENED AND IN SUCH AN AWFUL WAY, I JUST WANTED HIM TO GROW OLD, HE LEFT ME TO SOON, I WASNT READY AND IT HAS KNOCKED THE BREATH OUT OF ME SO TO SPEAK. SO MUCH JOY LIKE WHEN I LET HIM OUT ONE MORNING AND HE WAS BARKING AT SOMETHING UNDER THE MOTOR HOME I YELLED FOR HIM AND HERE COMES THIS LITTLE SKUNK CHASING HIM, RAN THROUGH THE GATE IN THE BREEZE WAY AND CHASED HIM RIGHT THROUGH MY DOOR, THEN THE SMELL HIT...OH LORD...AND IT WAS RIGHT BEFORE WORK..I WILL ALWAYS REMEBER HIM RUNNING WITH THAT LITTLE SKUNK CHASING HIM...GOODNESS HE STUNK....PAMELA

And what a precious face it is!

I know exactly how you feel about wanting Moose to grow old with you. I use to have visions of Shiloh and I growing old together and hobbling around with arthritis...her taking rymadel, me taking ibuprofen. At times I feel so cheated that she was taken at such a young age.

Hi Pamela,

Great pic! Your Moose was a handsome boy. It's sad that you and he couldn't grow old together but I know you'll always cherish the time you had with him. I'm glad you decided to post the pic....I think this means you are one step further with the grieving process. As time passes, we do begin to remember the special and fun times we had with our pets rather than those last days that bring so much pain.

Keep healing and thanks for sharing the pic.

Take care,
__Jim

Pamela,
I can just see Moose as he came running at break neck speed with that skunk in hot pursuit. I'm sure it was a stench that no one would like to smell much less just before you went to work. I'm so glad you got that wonderful picture of Moose put on for everyone to see. Keep the good memories coming!

Hi Pamela,

What a picture! Moose was a beautiful boy...thanks so much for sharing his photo.

The skunk story was sooo cute. I had to laugh at the thought of Moose running from a little (stinky) skunk. It's a wonderful memory to hold on to.
