I just wanted everyone to know Amber is home from the hospital and she is doing so much better. She is still yellow but is eating a little bit and is drinking now and the vet thinks she might make a full recovery with time, love, rest, and care.

Amber will be taking her medications they sent home and we will give her all the love she could ever need. I want to thank everyone who has sent me emails, replied on the board, prayed and sent good thoughts for her.

You are all so wonderful and have been a real blessing to me through all my sorrows and pain. Without you all I just don't know how I could cope with the loss of Chili Bean, illness of Amber, and of course the coming loss of my beloved Snookie. I thank God for all my new caring compassionate friends.
Love, Ann

wub.gif Oh Ann...........

I am sooooooo happy to hear that beautiful, precious Amber is home now.............
Given time.........I hope and pray that she will make a complete turnaround!!

You've been a blessing, Ann...........to all of us, and to all the newcomers.....
Even in your time of pain, hurt, sadness.........somehow you've found strength to help others.

There's no greater gift, my friend....... rolleyes.gif

I think that that happens to lots of people who "JOIN Lightning-Strike".....

We come on LS, searching for someone who understands what we're going through with the loss of our babies...........
And, we find all the help that we need here.......

And then, our hearts just open up REALLY BIG, SO THAT WE CAN HELP OTHERS, even when we ourselves hurt!!!
I think it's a miracle and a blessing!!!

One, which I am grateful for!!! And, I always will be!

Please Ann, keep us all informed about lil' Amber, okay?????

God Bless you and your family, Ann......

Love, Denise, Ben, Ms. Lucy and Mr. Yoster wub.gif

That is an older picture of a while back. I did not want to put the ones I took of her after she came from the hospital. The poor baby is still skin and bones and her eyes look so bad. It is amazing how fast they lose weight and she lost even more after she went to the hospital.

She is still as yellow if not more than she was before I took her in in Tuesday. It's to bad the pic does not show what beautiful green eyes she has. My daughter and I have green eyes but we wish ours were a beautiful striking green like Ambers.

Many have mentioned my strength, well I think by trying to help others it adds to my strength and helps me to carry on. I just can't say it enough you are all a blessing to me too.
Love, Ann
