Dearest Henry:

I guess its because it is the first Christmas time without you, but I’m missing you a lot. I remember how your would wear your “jingle collar” and run down grandma’s hallway and sound like a reindeer. I remember how you liked to sit under the tree and were transfixed by the sparkly lights. (You would stare at them all night until they went off, then come to bed). I remember how you would open your own presents (I have a really cute picture of that!).

Miss you always more than I can express. Love you forever.

Hi, BabyHenry, thank you so much for sharing with us how you're doing. Indeed, the holidays can be very difficult to endure when our hearts are missing beloved companions who are no longer physically with us. Even though he is not physically with you, your beloved Henry's sweet Living Spirit continues to share your earthly journey as he always has and always will for the love bond you and your beloved Henry share is eternal.

I hope today is treating you kindly and that you will have a peaceful evening blessed with your beloved Henry's sweet Living Spirit to comfort you. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers, BabyHenry, and please let us know how you're doing.

Peace and blessings,

It coming up on 8 months now, and it is still pretty hard.

I visited my parent's house in FLorida last weekend, (I used to bring him with me) and it made me sad to see all the places in their back yard where he used to hang out: - under a palm tree, pretending to be jungle cat, - on the tile edge of the pool, watching us swim, - on my mom’s “good” silk sofa (she’d pretend to be mad, but wasn’t really because she loved you too).

Miss you so much, dear friend. Love you always.

Thanks for checking in here.

I understand the triggers of seeing him everywhere at your parents' house! I hope it brings at least some measure of comfort to know that Henry IS still right with you--just not in his precious PHYSICAL form.

Prayers and blessings to you!!

Hi, BabyHenry, thank you so much for sharing with us your and your beloved Henry's 8-month angel-versary. It doesn't matter how much time passes in our adjustment journey for there will be moments when we will share a treasured memory with our beloved companion and we will feel a mist come to our eyes and our arms will ache to hold them once again. The good news is that hopefully as our deep grief eases these moments of sorrow will not be as intense as they were during our deep grief journey, for our hearts will be filled with the warmth of our treasured memories and the eternal love bond we share with our beloved companion.

I hope today is treating you kindly and that you will have a peaceful evening blessed with your beloved Henry's sweet Living Spirit to comfort you. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers, BabyHenry, and please let us know how you're doing.

Peace and blessings,
