Tonight I remembered something about my departed cat, Poods. Not sure why, but it struck me as funny. For the last year of the old guy's life, he had a lump of fat on his side. (I took him to the vet to make sure it wasn't something harmful.) While he slept beside me, I'd push the fat around a lil under his skin. It was one of those little details I got used to.
While petting my new kitty, Charlie, I found myself looking for the fat lump.
What a weird thing to miss about a cat.

Hi Lily GreyShipp
I don't think it's weird at all. Animals give us SO much touch - most of it loving, some not (like when kitties bite even though they're only playing). There is so little touch in our world today. Keyboards, some courtesy hugs. In some ways it's a good thing our babies can't talk. They give us honest, unbeatable love through touch. Just another HUGE way we miss them so much.
I hope your heart is able to go on and to know that your kitty with the "Fat lump" is dafe, sound and happy in the Perfect World, waiting for you.
Be well,

Hi LilyGreyShipp
How are you doing today? I know little Poods is keeping an eye on you and keeping you safe from harm from his new home in the Perfect World. Have the best day possible.
