[COLOR=blue]I did not want a pit bulll!! that was the first thing out of my mouth that march!! My kids won out though, my daughter search the newspapers and found a rescue group and low and behold blaze came into our lives.... he was the most scared shy timed thing I had ever seen! this is a pit I ask?? but with all his horrible past came love by the buckets this dog was unbeleivable! our house must be calm because it would ruin blaze!! we laughed so much at this but it was true a clam came over us. he slept under the covers , he wore toddler pjs cause he was cold, he was sooooooooo loving he was my bst friend I I had a bad day blaze was there If my life was so overwelming blaze calmed me how I loved this furbaby!! the we had to move. we were staying at my inlaws for a while an 2 dogs were not working out so my golden ret stayed with us and my daughter took blaze to her boyfriends house. That night I knew that it was to blazes last nught of joy. Two weeks later I got the call BLAZE FELL OFF THE ROOF MOM!! my daughter screamed into the phone. I knew he was dead. You see her boyfriend could not be bothered with my lil boy so he put him up there to die. I know somebody pushed that sweet trusting boy. ANd now I live with the guilt of knowing he had to be thinking where is my mommy as he fell. I take comfort in knowing that we will see each other at the rainbow bridge and I will tell him how sorry I am. And we will never be apart agaIN
SO THATS MY STORY OF BLAZE THE PIT BULL i DID NOT WANT.... ps got a new pit puppy 3 weeks ago! her name is tia!! such love.............

oasis45, I am very sorry about your dog. I had a friend who also found out that pit bulls are good companions. Her husband found a pregnant pit bull and not only did my friend wind up loving the momma but all the puppies too ---so much so that she wouldn't part with them. so imagine having something like five pit bulls! She said that bad types kept answering her ad so she just kept them all rather than have them fall into the wrong hands. I am glad you have a new dog and that blaze was able to be in your life.
sympathy to you!
Love and hugs

I am really, really sorry about Blaze. It is unthinkable that this was done to him -- by your daughter's boyfriend!?? Is this correct? Before I say anything more, I just want to make sure that is right because if it is, something should be done. If someone -- anyone-- put Blaze on the roof and left him there to die, that is, of course, animal cruelty. Where is your daughter now?

Hello.
I'm sorry that you lost your boy. It was indeed, too soon and terrible. What a tragic loss. After reacting to the loss of your poor boy and your grief, my next reaction and concern goes out to your daughter. Is she safe with her boyfriend? Sorry, its none of my business and maybe I shouldn't have asked?
Blaze sounds like she was a wonderful sweet friend. What a life she had with you...sleeping under the covers, wearing pj's, etc! That brought a smile to my face! I hope that those memories bring you comfort.
Take care of yourself.
