You were very much on my mind this past weekend. It sounds like you had to put on the 'public face' to entertain your company, while nursing a broken heart inside. I am sorry. My Mom said pretty much what you did - she recevied some beautiful flowers and candy but all she wanted was Peggy The Dog back home.
As always, you, your husband and your sweet Mickey are in my prayers and I hope your heart is beginning to heal a little and I hope your weather has improved (no more storm warnings that chase you to the relative safety of the basement).
