Tom's Dad

I was coming home from work to my apartment complex tonight from my bus stop in about 1-3 inches of snow. As I made my way into the back way of the parking area, I saw a lovely semi long haired cat. It was cold and scared. I tried to approach it, but it kept running. It made me think. What would I do if I were able to catch him/her? How could I help? Then it hit me. The irony not lost on me. If I did not have the resources to save my precious Tom, how could I save this poor soul? It truly breaks my heart to see these poor cats tossed aside like they were nothing in such unforgiving weather

I agree, it's sad that we can't help every animal we see, esp when it's cold outside like it is now. We all have such big hearts, many times bigger than the time and resources we have to take care of all the animals we wish we could. Try not to beat yourself up too much over this

Hi, Tom's Dad, it is sad to see helpless, defenseless souls frightened and abandoned like that. Right now you and Theresa have to focus on each other. And if it's any consolation to you, Tom's Dad, I have to follow Aaron's advice, too.
Peace and blessings,
