My friend that I just met, told me that she has lost some of her pets due to Distemper, and some of the others are dying. What would be the best way for her to help her cats be more comfortable while they are dying this slowly crippling death?

Oh Dear Lissa that is so sad and I'm sorry that you haven't had any replies yet. I have no experience myself but there are lots of websites that have information that might help. I just googled 'Distemper in cats' and quite a lot of sites came up. Also I thought I'd pop this back to the top of the board as there are many people on here who have kitty's, and they might have missed your posting.
All I can say really is just to keep them warm and comfortable and give them lots of love and attention whilst they are having their treatment. I send prayers for them all and for you and your friend.
