Hi all--

I'm sure this has been covered before, so maybe you can point me in the right direction for information if it has. I just lost one dog, and I may be about to lose my wolf, who probably has lymphoma--and I'm wondering what I can feed her to help her fight off cancer? I'm willing to do the whole homemade dog food thing for as long as necessary, but don't have a very good idea of what that would be. Tantalizing recipes that aren't too expensive, anyone?

Thanks in advance, and Merry Christmas!

Hi Margi,

As you know Callaway had lymphoma and he lasted longer than the vet thought he would. I read that you should feed your dog mostly protein if they have cancer. I cooked Callaway ground chuck for breakfast and dinner and he loved it. I don't know if this helped to keep him alive longer but I would like to think that it did.

Thanks, all, for your input. I'll check out that link after Christmas.

Where's the "Pet Diet and Nutrition Forum?" I don't see it listed anywhere...

Thanks and Merry Christmas!
