Three months ago yesterday....I couldn't write this yesterday so I'm writing it today. Buster do you hear momma when she talks to you? I talk to you all of the time - to you and Grandma. I'm hoping you two are together and you guys are looking out for each other over there. I miss you terribly and so does Macky. When I say you name he look around with his ears all perky......so send him blessings from above - he hasn't been feeling good lately and I can't bear to loose him too....

Love,
Momma

*I could only get away with expressing something like this on here :-)*

Hi Karen---for what is is worth I also talk to both my mom and my Ginger --(I feel they are together!--even though my mother "didn't like" cats! she never met Ginger but he was alot like her! really--they were both "scrappy") anyway--I am just certain they can hear us!
I hope your Macky-cat is doing well...I know I worry about my "remaining" buddy too! here is a hug for you...you're in my thoughts

Hi Karen:

Your sweet Buster wub.gif looks down at you, and wants his mommy to be happy....
I know that's sooooooo true!!!!
You were a fantastic, loving mom to him, and he knows what's going on with Mr. Mackeydoodle!!!

I know that your darling Buster would always get sad when you were sad....Am I right???
He knows you miss him, and he misses you too..........but, you know that one day WAAAYYYYY in the
future when it's our time, we'll all walk together into eternity forever!!!
Please don't forget that!!!

Karen, even when you are hurting so badly, you always manage to come on here and make others
who are suffering over the loss of their furbabies, feel a bit better.
That's a REAL GIFT, and I thank you sooo much for that....

Do you like to "write"? How about writing a letter to Buster, that you can keep and read???
If you enjoy that, get a notebook that will hold your letters to Buster, and write everything that's
in your heart --- everything that you would say to Buster if he was right here, back on Earth with us.

You are truly in my thoughts and prayers every single day, Karen....
I hope you will always know that!!!

Goodnight & God Bless you & Mackey!! wub.gif

Love you guys,

p.s. Karen, I have a "Mack" cat who is temporarily staying with me. He's a sweetheart. I look forward to hearing more about your Mack.

Hi Karen,

I still talk to my dog (not out loud), but I find it very comforting to still talk to him the same as I did when he was here. Some people may think we're nuts, but I really believe our beloved pets hear us and continue to look after us even after they've left this earth.

I'm with you though, I don't talk about it anywhere but here either.

I talk to Kudi each and every day...I know he's still with me and I know your loved one is with you too!

Like I said....I knew I could post something like that here! I just feel so comforted in knowing that others
believe in the same things I do......

Kathy,
Mack has a lot of different names (doesn't he Denise,lol)....he's actually Max but I usually call him Macky or
Mackydoodle or just Mack...oh yeah, Mackers (when we're playing). What does your Mack look like? Mine
is all black....

*hugs*

Hi Karen:

I know that we all talk to our furkids that have gone to "Rainbow's Bridge".....
No question.........
(even to those who won't "admit it"....)
That's okay....

Ben said that sometimes when he walks home after work, he can hear me SOOOOOOOO LOUDLY talking to "the
children"................Ms. Lucy and Mr. Yoster.......(or, Yo-Yo Ma..........or "Yo")...........
But, he once said to me, "Honey, people are going to think that you have a daycare here, and they're probably
going to be dropping off their kids because it sounds as though you're having soooooo much fun....." wub.gif

Well, my voice "does carry"!!!!! tongue.gif
And, I love to talk.........

I talk to Ms. Lucy and Mr. Yoster in "kitty talk".............. Do you guys know what I'm talking about?????
It's not your "everyday CONVERSATION voice"?????
It's "that" KIND OF talk!!! smile.gif

************************
_Jim..................You are sooooooo right....
Our "beloved kids" DO hear us..........and, they do look after us.........EVEN AFTER THEY HAVE LEFT THIS EARTH!!! wub.gif

Our babies know............."We are their mom & dad's".... No question there..........

I feel that, no matter how long we have been with our kids, WE CREATE THIS INCREDIBLE BOND OF LOVE THAT
CANNOT EVER BE BROKEN.....................NO MATTER WHAT!!!!!!!!!!
The amount of TIME that we are lucky/fortunate enough to spend with our furkids.........it's irrelevant; the amount of time spent, doesn't matter.

It's that quality of time, that really matters...........
Our babies love us unconditionally...............

And, wouldn't it be THE GREATEST LOVE OF ALL, if all "LOVE" WAS LIKE THAT??--->> UNCONDITIONAL!!!!!

***************************
Karen & Mackeydoo:

Yes, my sweet.................
Mack DOES HAVE SEVERAL NAMES.....................
Even ones that I MIGHT MAKE UP WHEN WE WRITE..... (ha-ha) wub.gif

I'm happy that you don't mind, and I know that our sweet Mackeydoodle doesn't mind..........(see, I have that "e" in
"Mackeydoodle".............
But, I have even more names that I'll tell you, next time we talk/write..... tongue.gif

I can't help it...............Ms. Lucy and Mr. Yoster have a lot of names already!! laugh.gif

Love ya, Karen!!

AND, Much Peace & Love to all here at Lightning-Strike!!!! wub.gif
Goodnight and God Bless you!!

Love, Denise

Hi Karen,

"My" Mack is a gray tiger with white socks, mittens, bib, tummy, and nose. I call him "Macky-Woo" (have you ever watched All Creatures Great and Small? Remember Mrs. Pumphrey?), Mackenstein (long story), and sometimes--though rarely--even just "Mack"!!

Dear Karen
I talk to my Sparky ALL THE TIME, not only him but my Corky who passed away in 1998. I hope it's not a crazy thing to do, because if it is I am at the top of the list of crazy's then. blink.gif When I am sitting down watching tv, I'll turn towrds his bed and let him know a couple of the shows that are on and ask him which one he thinks is best (I used to do this when he was still with me) . He never answered but to me he was and always will be more than just a dog to me. I would ask him if dinner smelled good, or if he thought the air conditioning was set too low or too high , I asked him all kinds of things and still do. There isn't a time that goes by that I don't come in the door and say Hiya Buddy, did you miss me? My kids have just learned to ignore it and go on like nothing was out of the ordinary.
So, I don't think that it is wrong in the least to talk with baby boy Buster. If anything I would have to say that it is thereputic. Take care and let yourself have your time to grieve, I have had to learnt hat grieving is ok and I don't have to stop just because it is not in the realm of normal to some people!!! tongue.gif
God Bless , you and Buster will be in our thoughts and prayers.

What a handsome cat he was. Six months ago we lost three of our furbabies over two days. Do not worry, Buster and our furbabies are in the loving arms of ST Francis until we come to join them forever.
