MAXIESMOMMY
I would like to thank each and every one of you for sharing your thoughts, suggestions and insights with me. They were really really helpful in my making this decision. I have decided to get the puppy, and then I cried again for my Max. My husband thinks this is what I need to help me along. I wish I could give all of you a great big hug. {{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{all of you!}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}.

Thank you again

awww, Carol, that is great and I am glad to hear you are feeling better about it all.

We have pretty much decided to get one of the English Setter puppies too, and all day today I have been crying for my Jake. Making the decision to get one is just all so final and awful in a weird way --- I know I have to move on, I can't bring him back but that is all I really want is to have my sweet mature lovey bird dog back with me here.

My husband is pushing a little too, so we will be getting a wild and crazy little thing who doesn't know us from Adam. I know it will be good once we have him, he will bring some light to this darkness, yet it surely is another sad step away from my Jake, a step I never wanted to take.

Boy I hate this stuff, my emotions are all over the place. sad.gif

Congratulations, Carol,

I'm truly happy Rosie has a new Mom and Dad and Mom and Dad have a new baby to love! Your husband sounds like a very wise man and I'm really glad he is so supportive of your decision. Post a picture of Rosie when you can and let us know how everything is going.

A new beginning---now that's a happy story!

Take Care,

I am so happy for you! ..I was going to reply to your other post, but SO many wonderful people replied, and they said it all. I am just so glad you are feeling better.

I do think that somehow the timing of the ashes and the new life was meant to be. Maxie is proud. wub.gif

Keep us posted!

p.s. This is strange---The name "Rosie" has come up in my life 3 times today. And I don't really remember ever hearing that name before.

Hi Carol!
--how did you come to name her "rosie"?? such a cute name!! I am so glad that you and 4jlorn have such supportive h's!! my significant other really ticked me off tonight by IMPLYING that I could not replace Ginger if I wanted to. (and he meant literally not figuratively)...now my personality is such that I am going to stew over this instead of speak to him directly about it!! (AND I have to control my temper before I re-visit the subject)....anyway!!! GLAD for you and I agree with zoeysdad..that we need to see an image of the wee one--maybe we can handle that like we did last time, eh???
Love,
Patti
