I found a little black kitten in my kitchen this evening. Not sure how it got in here but it was in the corner hiding. I knew there was something wrong with it. The Mommy cats always bring me their kittens when they're dying, imagine that. Now I have Shadow, that's what I named her or him, in a blanket and there's nothing I can do, except pray that Shadow goes peacefully during sleep. I gave Shadow some milk in a bottle but it's too late to do anything. Please pray for Shadow. I know nothing can be done to save his or her little life but it breaks my heart , it's out of my hands now and in God's hands. Please once again pray for Shadow that he or she will go to the bridge peacefully.

OH, HOW MY HEART GOES OUT TO PRECIOUS FUR BABY KITTY SHADOW AND OF COURSE TO YOU, TOO. YES, I'M WEEPING BECAUSE I'VE BEEN WHERE YOU AND SHADOW ARE RIGHT NOW. SUCH A TERRIBLY HELPLESS FEELING. MANY COMFORTING HUGS!!!

WHEN I'VE EXPERIENCED VERY SIMILAR AND PRACTICALLY EXACT TO WHAT'S HAPPENING WITH SHADOW AND YOURSELF, I DID TAKE COMFORT IN KNOWING THAT THE ABANDONED KITTY WAS SURROUNDED BY SO MUCH LOVE, SOOTHED, SPOKEN TO SOFTLY AND KNEW IN MY SOUL THAT THE KITTEN REALIZED IT WAS NOT ALONE. NOT ABANDONED. THAT YOU ARE THERE TO KEEP IT WARM, AS COMFORTABLE AS POSSIBLE AND THAT PRECIOUS FUR BABY CAN TRULY FEEL ALL THE LOVE, EMPATHY, CONCERN, CARE AND PRAYERS SURROUNDING IT BY YOU AND OTHERS. HONEST AND FOR TRUE. THEY DO HAVE THAT 6TH SENSE YOU KNOW.

MY GOSH, SO DIFFICULT TO EVEN SEE MY KEYPAD AND MONITOR. EMILY'S MOM AND SHADOW, PLEASE KNOW YOU'RE BOTH IN MY MOST URGENT PRAYERS AS I WING MANY LOVING ANGELS TO ENFOLD SHADOW IN THEIR WINGS AND GENTLY GUIDE THIS BABY TO THE RAINBOW BRIDGE. THERE, SHADOW WILL BE WHOLE, HEALTHY, HAPPY WITH MANY, MANY FRIENDS. ALL THE TOYS, CAT NIP, FOOD, TREATS AND ANYTHING SHADOW'S HEART DESIRES.

God bless you for not turning this kitten away. He/she will be at peace in God's kingdom where there is no more suffering. When I saw what you named the kitty, it struck a chord with me: I adopted a sweet older dog named Shadow a few months ago, after tragically losing a dog to an auto immune illness last July.

Am thinking of and will pray for you and Shadow...

Update on Shadow...I took Shadow to the vet this morning and she had a major ear infection that has went into her inner ear, Dr. Ross also gave her shots of liquid because she was so dehydrated, revolution, antibiotics taken orally and from a tube for her ear, bought some milk from the vet brought her home and thought she would be fine.

I work 3rd shift (which is where I'm at now) and when I woke up at 7 to feed her she seemed like she was doing better, I laid back down and overslept, didn't get up untill 11:00 and by then she was barely alive. She's not moving but she's still alive. I know that she knows I love her and that I have done everything possible to save her, I know I heard her purr today she's such a dear baby who little life was cut way to short.

Thank you for all of your kind words and prayers..Shadow knows that everyone loves her and that's all we could give her in the end.

Shadow crossed over the Rainbow Bridge this afternoon. She is with the other fur babies now and having the time of her life. I'm so sorry I couldn't save your life Shadow but please know that I did everything I could . Be free my Baby Girl , you stole my heart in those 3 short days and please remember that I will love and miss you forever.


Shadow also wanted me to thank everyone for their prayers, so once again Thank you so much from the both of us.
