My Little is gone now...

She was put to sleep at 10-45 am or so at the Animal Hospital on Friday the 8th- My sister was with her as she got the second shot. I was in another room. I could not see her and I did not see her after. I spent a lot of time with her these past 2 months and we spent a lot of money on her. I loved her so much.

I held her and petted her in the waiting/grieving room with my sister for 10 minutes before she (the vet tech) went in the back with Little and they put in her tube for the calming first shot.

She had kidney disease complicated by a long standing hyperthyriodism. She had water around her lungs for about a month. She was on meds for everything.

My sister said she went very peacefully, no twitching at all. The vet almost cried. I miss Little so much already. I don't know what to do. My 3 other cats I guess will get more love but no cat can replace Little.

I am so sorry to hear of Little's passing. I'm sure she knew how much you loved her and she was very lucky to have such a loving daddy.

I am so sorry for your loss of Little. I lost my little cat Cleo to kidney disease in April so I know the pain of your loss. The pain will pass in time and you will remember the good times with her. Give your other cats extra love as they miss them too when they leave us and sometimes we don't realize that. She is well again and happy now and waiting for the day when you will be reunited.

WIll keep you and your sister in my prayers.

I came home from work tonight- I never missed even one day this week/end and I saw she was not in her favourite room:( I just wanted to pet her and say hi and give her a treat:(

Im sorry for your loss. i know that losing our best friends is so hard. i lost my little fred not too long ago myself. he died from complications of diabetes. it was really hard because just a year earlier i had lost riley to kidney disease and fred was the one that helped me move forward.
time heals all wounds. i have loved all my pets but riley had a special place in my heart as i had rescued him directly off the streets. although i loved them both the same, inside, i felt i wouldnt survive rileys death. but when he died, fred was my angel and licked my tears away. i quickly realized how much he meant to me as well. im glad we had that one last year together. he got extra hugs and extra kisses everyday and when he passed my world collapsed but today, as i look back, im grateful that we were together for a little while longer and that i took the time to show him how much he meant to me. give extra hugs and kisses to your three other little ones. again, im so sorry for your loss.

I'm very sorry for your loss of Little. Little was one of my nicknames for Micalen, my little cat companion who died 2.5 years ago. Just seeing Little's name made my heart leap and feel for your Little. My sincere sympathy for you in your grief, Jim.
