Click to view attachmentInto my life came this ball of fluff,
Full of mischief, angst and stuff!!
Right away, he was boss, surveying his kingdom,
demanding Luv.

We weathered the storms. of which there were many,
But together we had no enemy.
We laughed, we cried, we loved, we shared.
He never knew different, so he never compared!!

Life was wonderful, we were one.
What amazing things we have done.
Together we had so much fun.
Life was good, I was blessed.
Then came the time when "my boy" was pressed.

Old age set in, and still he pushed,
but I could see that he was bushed.
We had a talk the eve of his death and
I told him there wasn't much time left.
We sort of said our goodbyes,
I could see the weariness in his eyes.
I told him how much he was loved by me,

Next day he climbed upon my knee,
looked up at me and breathed his last.
What a privilege bestowed on me,
to have lived a little soul like he!!!

In memory of "Frisky Toff", his pedigree name,
formerly known as Scooby, "Light of my Life"

Dearest Westiemum, what a beautiful, wonderful, loving Tribute you've made to Frisky Toff also known as Scooby, the Light of Your Life ... And oh how it shows in your most heartfelt poem to him. God Bless! I hope you don't mind that I paid a Tribute to Scooby also using that which I garnished from what you wrote.

I'm making this post separate to let you know what I did. First, I enhanced Scooby's photo that you posted and added a very simple golden frame then the matte and black frame over that one. However, the first time I applied enhancing features, I feel I sharpened the image too much. Still, it makes for a very lovely piece of art so here is the URL to click on and bring up that image to view ...

Before I go any further, I did first use the feature which "grabs" the actual and exact fur colors from Scooby and enhanced his eyes. Also, I took poetic license in putting the expression fur coloring above his eyes to bring our their beauty all the more while still "grabbing" his actual fur colors then drawing ...

Important: It would only take less than 2 minutes to remove what I did above Scooby's eyes and make it just as it is in the photo you posted so please don't be shy so I can make that correction to the above image, remove that one then edit in the one you prefer. Okay? Hugs!!!

Lastly, here's Scooby still enhanced and use of correct sharpening and only one simple golden frame should you also like to save it to your files ...
