This happened close to my home. I told my Husband, there wouldn't be a chance of one being adopted. I would have kept the all!

I can imagine very well.

Sam was found in an apartment complex parking lot, with her brother, living under a car, in the rain. They were young kittens. No one claimed them. The Animal Officer adopted the brother. Sam had so little fur she looked pink, and to this day, loves warmth. When she came here, my wife was bedridden, recovering from surgery.

Ahhhh, said Sam.."A heated waterbed and someone warm!" She and my wife are an item..When we try to go somewhere, Sam tries to pack herself.

She is pushing 12 years old now. She has had a SPOILED PAMPERED life.
-And a much longer one than the people who dumped them would have had, had I seen them do it.

These were purebreds! Any shelter could have adopted them out in days! WHY would someone just dump them??

"Precious Sammy Girl!!" wub.gif That picture of her in the bag just makes me want to gently pull her out and give her a big old kitty kiss! "What a precious girl!!!" (Please add a long drawn out sing-song voice to the words in quotation marks).

She is SO spoiled. And she SULKS if she does not get her own way. If my wife goes to the store, Sam parks herself at the garage door and howls. The she runs upstairs screaming at me that her friend is missing and brings me down there.

Even though she is an old lady, she has this new young hunk who has her playing like a kitten again. This picture was taken today and posted elsewhere, but it shows her in a good mood. HOW could anyone abandon a noble Siamese? Well, we are all glad they did, because Sam won the lottery, and has the life of a queen. I hope those abandoned kittens do likewise!

What a great photo! It's wonderful when the new ones bond with the regulars! Our siamese, Mama Wassi, has never been one to play. She's around 14 years old and has always seemed to be a little slow. We've always said that her memory span is about 30 seconds long. She'll go into a room, then stop, as if she forgot where and why she was going. She's pretty tempramental. She'll sit in your lap, get mad about something, jump down. Then 30 seconds later she's back in your lap.

They do look like purebred siamese. I figured it was a jealous boyfriend/husband that dumped them. I would have dumped him immediately. Evidently someone cared enough for these precious little babies to put flea collars on them. I can't imagine going through the heartbreak of losing all of them overnight.

Jasper is coming into his siamese "voice". Like Sam, if he wakes up and I'm not in the room, he yowls at the top of his lungs. I'm thinking about buying him a binky. He loves suckling on my fingers. His nickname is Binky Boy. He sure is getting big. At just over 4 months he's almost as big as Frankee.

I just love seeing pictures of Iggy and Sam. Keep posting them!

This afternoon, it was up. The poster had adopted them all out but one, so it looks like the last lucky girl found a home!

My wife is just as bad about Sam as I am about Iggy. She makes "Sam cartoons". The difference is Sam is even more special because she WAS abandoned and thrown away, whereas Iggy was cuddled and loved by his godmother till I took him home.

Jon,

Both of you are sooooo talented. I'm still chuckling over Sam's photo. Can't wait to show my hubby. He's a big fan of your thread on Iggy. Please tell me you two design your own calendars! People would buy them in droves. Maybe you could donate a portion to one of your local shelters. I'd like to put my order in on one.

Thanks for posting the update on these little angels.

Siamese are the Royalty of the cat world. I can't imagine anyone throwing them away, OR any other precious little soul. That's just so wrong. I'm just so glad that they were left with someone that cared enough to find them homes.

sissycat, I just clicked on the link that I posted and it is working now with the updated story.

Again, I would have kept them ALL! My Husband agreed with me too. They are just adorable.

I went ahead and emailed the person that has been taking care of these precious babies. I thanked them for taking such good care of them and finding them homes. It's hard to find a "feel good" story anymore and this one seems to have a happy ending.
