Hi, Brittany, I do believe our furkids can reach us from the Bridge through their sweet living Spirit that continues on within us and all those whose lives they have shared. This grief journey, particularly in the beginning, is very difficult because we are not only emotionally missing our beloved furkid but there is also the physical separation that is an equal part of the loss. Eventually you will come to see that your relationship with Buttons has only changed to a different dimension - - she is always with you wherever you go and whatever you do, and you will always be able to share with her what is in your heart and in your life as you always have. But for now the grief of not having her physically with you is overwhelming, and that is why we are here for you every step of the way in your grief journey for as long and as often as you need us. It's a one day at a time journey, Brittany, and please know you are in my thoughts and prayers.
Peace and blessings,

I know it my self vey well, they do come to us sometimes in different ways, I few days after my Beloved Son Buster died to cancer in his nose I was in my basement all alone there is no windows nor other pets and while typing on my key-board computer I heard a very destintive loud and clear dog's panting, there was my Buster letting me know he was ok and breathing well, he only did it three times but those were enough to let me know he was here with me, ofcourse I thanked him and cried like I never did before. Take care and hung in there, always here, Jorge
