thank you dottie. you have me teary again:)i hope you dance too! I have great news and an update for all that care. i went in the bathroom with the kitten, the silly thing was up in the shower curtain. i helped her down by letting her jump into the carrier.i was sitting with the kitten in the bathroom. i decided to bring in my momma cat teara who usually adopts babies. soon as i brought her in the baby ran up to her following her around and letting me pet her. teara wasnt happy with the baby so i let her out. after that the kitten started warming up to me. she let me pet her and she started purring! i picked her up and asked to see if she was a girl or boy and she put her lil backfoot toes into the air and i could see she was a girl ,im pretty sure. i wanted to cry because i said that i wanted a kitten that looked like acorn but a girl so i could name her almond. i want to keep her! i hope i can. she's meowing alot now but i hope she quites down so i can bring her in my college dorm. im so happy! thank you acorn.
with love corina and her angels
Dearest Corina and your Angels, that is such great news! Before I say more, here is an enhancement of the other photo in your first post and enhanced photos of the others to lighten them up again in case you want to use them or save them to your files. The first rescue photo has sort of a "flashlight" effect. I love your kitten design shower curtains! Sooo adorable! Awww!
Here's the first day of rescue with the flashlight effect. You can see her precious face better. Awww!

Here's that "silly thing" up on top of your kitten design shower curtains. Awww!

With your my momma cat Teara checking each other out.

And sitting in your lap. Awww! She looks so contented!!!

Too bad that Teara isn't very thrilled with "Almond" if that's what you're going to name her but I'm so glad to hear she warmed up to you, let you pet her and purred. So wonderful if she is indeed a she and that's what you wanted: One that looks like Acorn but is female. It's like it was meant to be. Yes, I'm all teary, too. And I can't stop saying, "Awww! So Precious!"
Openhearted, you said she's meowing a lot now. I'm wondering if that's only when she's alone since you have to keep her separated from Teara because "Almond" (if you choose that name) looks quiet and contented in your lap being petted and she's purring. If that's the case, what you can do if you haven't already, it to put a toy or two with "Almond" as well as a stuffed toy which can serve as her surrogate mommy so to speak when she's alone. That may help bunches.
One of my past kitties would play with nothing except loved a small balled up piece of aluminum foil. LOL but true! And another kitty I had loved the plastic tabs that you have to pull from around a gallon of milk so the cap will come off. She would bat it around then cry if it got lost so I'd give her another one. Kittens can be very easily amused and soothed with toys of your own making. Perhaps you have a stuffed toy that's kind of flat that she could cuddle up to so won't feel so lonely when you're not there in the room to pet her? That really may help bunches to stop her meowing.
Hon, I think we're both Dancing right about now for your new fur baby! Awww! We sure are. God Bless You Most Abundantly! You and your fur babies are Treasures and you're a Wonderful, Courageous person!!!
Sending many Angels, Hugs and Love!
Always,
Dottie xoxoxox
