Here is the latest photo of Elvira, one of our two kitten sisters. Elvira is the one who regularly opens cabinets and throws out cat food. Lately she has been seen carrying around packages of cat treats she stole from the cabinet. Tonight I heard a rustling sound in the bedroom where we had put down newspaper to feed the cats on. This is what I found. LOL!

Awww..you SAW her and ruined everything.
She may have had a surprise for you.
Like attacking your feet.
That's what it's like around here. The little monster rolls himself up in a small rug, and uses it as a missile silo to launch himself at my feet.
I have to pretend not to see him, or he's disappointed.

She sounds like a smart one, what with the self-service food shopping. I am beginning to wonder if black cats are extra smart....(Apologies to Sam and other Siamese, who claim that distinction.) Or maybe they are just devious.
We had a bag of kibble for the dogs at one time. I walked by it and heard strange sounds coming from the bag.
Merlin was IN the bag, trying to eat his way to the bottom.

Oh, Ken...LOVE the picture! What a sweetheart.

You know I am into black kitties and their expressive eyes....

Well, Elvira's are like twin beacons. What a picture catch!

Thanks for sharing.

My Lucky doesn't go under the papers. He wants to eat them...especially when I am reading them. blink.gif

Thank you! Yes, Elvira is so intelligent she is rather scary at times. When she sits there studying us she tilts her head and looks like the velociraptors in "Jurassic Park". Ellen is my little sweet lapcat but Elvira will definitely be alpha cat when she is a little older. She is already teaching the others how to open the drawer that holds some of the cat toys and grab items out of it. Yesterday I had to rescue a long "snake on a stick" from her. She managed to slide the drawer open, get it out, and was dragging it around the living room with the other cats running after it. laugh.gif

It sounds like there's no need to hire a cat sitter or activities director with Elvira wub.gif tongue.gif .

I hope that you and your family are doing well smile.gif.

I just LOVE that name. Sound like a cat I would love to play hide and seek with. You've got a lot of fun memories awaiting you. My advise..wear shoes..Ann
