I don't post here often, but I am very grateful for this site, everyone helped me through the loss of my Tigerpaws. Thank you all. It is wonderful that I can say people I have never met are friends. About a month after Tiger died a little black kitten showed up at the fire station and I took her home, not sure if we would keep her. Then I realized that she came to me because it was her time to be my kitty. We named her Lily after Evangeline Lily on "Lost" because they are survivors. Since she was only 4 weeks she didn't know how to be a cat so we adopted Sasha from the vet to teach her how to be a cat. I then retired from the Fire Dept and returned to school. I was coming home from school one afternoon and noticed a little kitten sitting by the side of the road. I went around the roundabout and saw him sitting by a stop sign. I had to stop. Some jerk had tied him to the sign with kite string and left him!!!! I took him home, again not sure if we would keep him, well we did. We named him Jack because he walked like Capt. Jack Sparrow, but now his official name is Happy Jack, (1. because I a big fan of The Who, and 2. because he is happy I found him.) I thought I would share pictures of the three of them. Lily is the black kitty, Sasha is the tabby and Happy Jack is the tuxedo. While I still miss my Tigerpaws, I know she is happy that I am loving other kitties because she knows that is who I am.

Be Well,

Mark

They are absolutely gorgeous! Beautiful pictures and beautiful kitties. You have a terrific family here and I am very glad for them and for you.

Share more stories and more pictures when you can. I never tire of looking into eyes such as these. rolleyes.gif

These kitties are just beautiful. You found them for a special reason. Everything happens for a special reason. It is just hard for us to accept the reasons why sometimes. Like Sissycat. I know there was a special reason for her time to go., but still I am not happy about it. I miss her dearly, but like you I hope to adopt another kitty someday. I have such a big heart for Cats. My kids call me the crazy cat lady. If I ever were to win the lottery I would build a huge cat home and would provide a loving home for so many.
I know Tigerpaws is looking down and thinking what a great person to be able to share the love you two shared with other kitties.

Oh- Those kitties are just so beautiful! What stories for each of them. It is true that they find us. Please, keep the pictures coming!

Lily, Happy Jack, and Sasha are gorgeous! Your story of how they came into your life is wonderful. Yes that's who you are.........a person who has alot of love to share with other kitties and Tigerpaws knew that and would have wanted it this way. When you have alot of love in your heart, the only thing you can do is share it.

I'm glad you are retired now from the firestation, even though you are in school. The kitties and you will have lots of time together. Three must be quite a handful I'm sure.

Take care and have fun with all 3 of your little mischief makers. tongue.gif

I burst out laughing at the first picture, and melted at the third one.
It is so strange that when one loses a friend, there seems to be a call that goes out, and suddenly they start appearing! It has happened to us several times, and we always end up with more than we planned.
(Who's complaining though!)

I have no doubt that your beloved girl, Tigerpaws wub.gif is thrilled about Lily wub.gif , Sasha wub.gif & Happy Jack wub.gif . Their photos are beautiful!!

I know that after my precious girl, Ernie-Bird wub.gif was put to sleep, I thought to myself I never would want to have any more cats...... But, my heart ached so much to love again. Our home was soooooo quiet, and my husband and I had so much love to give, so..... One month after she went to Rainbow's Bridge, we went to a shelter and adopted our present furkids, Ms. Lucy wub.gif and Mr. Yoster wub.gif .

Wishing you & yours much love, peace and lots of purrs....

Denise

Hi Mark,

I'm sorry to learn of the loss of Tigerpaws. I'm glad you were able to find support at this site. I know I did.
Thanks so much for sharing the stories of your three new little ones. And thanks so much for giving them good homes. Your story had me tearing up. What a nice way to honor Tigerpaws' memory by giving a loving home to not one, but THREE new kitties!

Love the pictures!

Molly
