You know when I look into Riley's eyes...I always hold my breath for a second cause I remember Little Guy's eyes and your baby is such a reminder to me.

I love Johnny and Riley playing...sounds like they are bonding. How is Johnny doing? Has he relaxed..although the playing looks like he has?

Great great pictures...I love looking at these. they are truly "black beauties". (One of my favorite stories as a youngster was about the black stallion called Black Beauty..I may even still have that book here). So I think these kitties can appropriately be called that also cause they really are beautiful and really are black in color....so many have golden eyes.

I think Egyptians liked these cats and treated the black cat as a God (if I remember correctly) so there has been a fascination with these babies for a very long time..........

I just haven't seen one of these that I didn't get a special feeling in my heart....looking at them.

And any stories of Riley and/or Johnny or both are welcome too! It really is nice to see them playing together. Johnny must be feeling more secure.

I have a soft spot for black kitties, both long-haired and short. My mother had a black kittycat that followed her round like a dog. She was completely absorbed in Mama ,but she was sweet and gentle, and smart, and I loved her to no end.

What spectacular boys those boys are! I know you are enjoying them very much, and Alley must be smiling seeing in your care of them proof of your devotion to her.

Your pics of Johnny Cash and Riley are adorable. I'm sure they find the catpole very entertaining just as much as they entertain you while you watch them play on it.

Many years ago we had a catpole that had a box on the top so my catloves could hide way up there without being seen. My Trucker ( a black male cat) loved to leap out of the top and land on whoever was walking by and just wrap himself like a scarf around them.
