Well - it's decided. My Jack Russell and I are going to get involved with Dog Agility. Bono was a champ in both Obedience and Agility, and its taken me a while to decide to get back into training again with my dogs, as my heart is still broken without my champion, Bono, who was such a pleasure to work with. smile.gif

But Coveu is already a champ in Obedience, so it'll be good to start working with him in Agility. We start training next Wednesday. Below is us doing Obedience.

Does anyone else do Dog Obedience or Agility?

My dog doesn't do Obedience fullstop, but she very good with Agility especially where there is a bowl of catfood involved!!

EM, haha, what is it with dogs and catfood, and cats and dogfood for that matter? I'm still training my Cavalier in obedience but he's very nervous in training so it'll take time and patience with him.

Yes Gillian.............Goliath and I first went to puppy kindergarden classes when he was just 12 weeks old. Then we moved onto obedience and advanced obedience. Later we loved the agilility classes and competion as well. Remembering those wonderful times fill me with great joy. Goliath always learned things very quickly and we loved the quality time we shared together.

We haven't gotten another puppylove, YET. But we are planning to have 1 soon as possible. Our plan is to enroll in these types of activities again. biggrin.gif

Gillian,

We are discussing entering Amos, our 3 yr old standard poodle, in agility. It will be a learning curve for all of us. I'd surely welcome any advice or insights. Let us know how Coveu is coming along.
