Daisy's Mommy
A long time ago, people posted happy, nice or funny things that they remembered about their furbabies. It was very nice to read. If you would like to share such memories, please add below.

Here's mine - When I called Daisy, she didn't always come. She came if she felt like it. However, if I pretended that I was crying, she always came running to lick my face and make sure that I was ok.

(Sad note - I felt badly that in the end when I cried for her - she could not come and lick my face.)

One other thing - Daisy was such a cute tiny dog that every time we went out, people always commented. We couldn't walk 10 feet without hearing "Look at that cute little dog," or something to that effect.

Thanks Daisy's Mom for sharing your memories of your sweet Daisy. I have shared many many stories myself of the joyous memories Goliath and I made together. Telling my stories and sharing my pictures have provided me with much comfort and also has helped me to move further away from the painful feelings. Thinking of the beautiful memories and all the happiness Goliath and I had making them together has brought me out of the painful and sad feelings I had been experiencing. The more I shared and spent time talking about our happy years together, the healthier and happier I became.

There are sections still here that provide a place for us to share our happy memories, in the Death and Dying Section as well as in the Memorial/Tribute section. I have posted many stories in both of those sections and so have others. These sections are located in the pinned area at the top of each forum. I love to read these and am glad they have these sections especially because when I slip a little bit back to feeling sad I can go there and read about someone elses happy time and cheer myself up.

Take care and thank you again for sharing the love and smiles in your stories. smile.gif
