I am sorry to hear about Pixel. I understand about rushing to the vet...I did that with Little Guy. You go and hope the vet can turn things around and tell you it will be okay but I have not had that experience..it must be rare.
You did everything you could for this sweetheart. I did go see his memorial and his beautiful picture. I am glad for his 14 years...that is a wonderful tribute to his care.
It is up to time to make the sad memories fade and we help by replacing them with all the good memories that mean to very much to us. We look at pictures of happy and healthy times and can smile knowing in that picture they were content and so were we.
We can sometimes tell stories showing their personalities..the memory of which can make us smile.
It is difficult to lose more than one so close together and yet know that you are not alone in this...there are others here who have lost more than 1 in a very short time.
The saying that comes to mind here was said by one "mom" in this forum..to the effect that: The pain of losing him will never ever be bigger than the joy of knowing him.
I think of that many times when I think of my 3 who are gone.
Come again and post as you feel like it. Sometimes writing gets the grief out when it tries to overwhelm us. Find some pictures of your babies to post and tell us about them. Pictures can bring a smile out of us even when we didn't think we would smile for a long time. Knowing you are not alone in grieving for a special baby also helps. It shows the people here know and understand exactly what you are going through because it is like looking in a mirror.
So as we share the pain so can we try to share thoughts and ideas that have helped us, hoping they help others.
Giant hugs to you and our wishes for the sad memories to pass quickly. I know it was hard to post at this time but we appreciate your letting us know about Pixel and making us feel part of his family as we feel you and yours are part of ours.
