This may be a silly question but, it is something that I have always wondered about. I have noticed now that the weather has been getting nicer, that my cats when outside like to roll on the dirty pavement thus getting pretty dirty.

I know that it cant be bugs. For I know that some animals do this to rid themselves of parasites, my kitties get treated for these, Is this something that they do for enjoyment or is this something else entirely?
