Please check out Catster and Dogster. It's basically a MySpace page for our furkids. It's free and many furparents have posted their Rainbow Bridge furkids there.

I accidently bumped into the site and put our kitten Frankee's profile on. After 12 hours he had several new kitty friends and had collected a lot of cybertreats as well as "cat mail".

I'm still mourning my precious Nickels after a year and a half. The pain is still incredible and when I can, I will post his profile. I know that this site can be a wonderful tool in healing our pain.

I hope this info will help all of us that are in pain from the loss of a precious furbaby. I havn't posted in a while here on LS, but I still check in to read your stories and offer a prayer for your healing. We will NEVER EVER forget our special babies. LS is the best site on the internet and without it I could never have handled the monumental loss of Nickels. God Bless the LS Administraters. You have helped so many deal with so much loss. You are always in my prayers!

Thanks Nickels for sharing the info on Catster and Dogster. I will be sure and check it out as it sounds like a fun way to remember our precious furry kids.

I couldn't have dealt with the passing of my Goliath either if I hadn't found this forum. After spending the first 2 months alone in my grief, I came upon LS in early January of this year. LS saved my life and my mind and soul.

I especially love to read the happier stories and looking at all the pics bring me so many smiles. The best is when we all come together in comforting each other through the sad times as well as the good times.

Take care and thanks again for your post.

Thanks for the information, Nickels.

I totally agree with you and Goliath about this forum. It has also helped me a lot.
Today, I remembered that if I go through here and order from Amazon.Com...a donation (a percent of each purchase) is sent to LS. I finally bookmarked the portal so that will help remind me that each purchase also helps this site.

I buy books, CDS, VCRs, etc from Amazon over the years but I will enjoy my purchases much more now knowing this site receives money from Amazon whenever anyone buys something there and enters Amazon from this site. You have to go to the Donations page and there is a link portal there.

I'll always remember Nevada Nickels...after all I got married in Nevada and retired there and actually played the slot machine they used to have by that name.

Your avatar of Nickels is precious and I am glad you found these new sites to explore.

And new friends for Frankee...that sweet boy of yours. rolleyes.gif

Take Care....

Love Them,

I had NO idea that Amazon.com donated to this site. Though I have never ordered anything from their site, I will make it a point to shop their site!

Thank you so much for sharing this info. Let's pool together to keep this site up. God knows the 24/7 effort that MD and other admin support people put into this site! MD never fails to post immediately after anyones posts griefs or laughs. Thank you so much MD. God has a special place for you! You are truly sent from above.
