Two years have passed since I lost my beautiful Byron, he is the black and white Tuxedo beauty in my signature.

I still miss him so much and it seems like only yesterday that I lost him to the scurge of Cancer.
He was so special a big cuddly 7 kilo kitty. He was loved so much and died too soon. Always in my heart beloved boy.

Hugs Cleo1, I can well imagine the pain of knowing that it's been two long years since you last held Byron, but I am soothed to see that for now he lives in your heart. Take care.

As you remember your Byron on his 2 year anniversary mark, may you be blessed and comforted with his many memories. I love the pic in your signature of him.

Someday you will be with him again, as all of us will, the way in which God intented for us to live in the beginning.

Thankyou Toonie and Goliath for your kind words.
I am sorry for your losses too, we all gather in grief and support each other for our lost babies and that is such a comfort. God Bless.

I am so sorry about you losing Byron. He looks like quite a beautiful boy in your avatar. I agree with your words about losing him too soon. I have lost 3 pets to cancer and it is really something to go through! Gives one such a helpless feeling.
My Little Guy in my Avatar I just lost to it suddenly in September. I can understand the instense feelings still present....whether it is 2 months or 2 years. That intensity comes out of a love that is timeless and will always be present in our hearts for our babies.

Hugs to you and remember he is a part of you and in your heart and that's why he can never be forgotten and that's why the feelings can come back strong anytime and anniversaries can be particularly intense. But one "Mom" here said it best when she said: The pain of losing him will never ever be greater than the joy of having him. It is the "joy" we can treasure forever.

Thank you Love Them for taking the time to answer my post and for your moving sentiments. I am sorry for your loss too.
Yes watching a pet die of Cancer is a soul destroying experience and one you never forget, but I agree the joy they give us and the time we spend with them is worth all the pain.

Hugs to you, Cleo I. Byron is such a handsome boy and he had a great name. One's sense of time goes out the window when we lose someone special. Sometimes I feel like it's been decades since I've seen my baby. But the grief always seems to bring us back to reality and it feels like it was yesterday. Byron will live on forever in your heart.
Take care and please know that you and Byron are in my thoughts on such a difficult anniversary.

Thank you forduffy I appreciate your kind words. I am sorry that you are grieving a loved pet too.
Byron was a stray who wandered in and my youngest daughter named him Byron after her favourite poet and because she said he looked like an aristocrat.
Take care.

Byron was an aristocrat in his tuxedo. Such a beauty. He and my Moose are all dressed up and going out on the town together. It's so hard to lose them, each anniversary is hard. I'm thinking of you and your guys.

I'm so sorry, Cleo. Byron is so cute. I love Tuxedo kitties. My prayers and thoughts are with you as you go through this tough time.

Moose Mom, what a sight that would be our two kitties out on the town together.
Thanks for your thoughts.

Thanks to John B too. Yes Byron was a lovely Tuxedo boy his markings all met up to perfection, he just needed the bow tie.
