Big Collie Fans here- yes, those hit home. Big Time! Love you, little Sadie! I had Duffy, my Border Collie and my husband mourns for his little Collie, Placid-you look a lot like her. Hugs to you, baby girl!

Thanks for sharing your wonderful pics of Sadie. It always puts a smile on my face when I see others loved furry kids here in this forum.
The happiness and joy Sadie brought you during her lifetime will continue to bring you joy in her death as well by having those beautiful pics to reflect on.
Memories are forever and we have been blessed by having the privilege of having had that "special" kind of connection that many others are never fortunate enough to experience.
Peace, comfort, and joy to you

That first picture is so beautiful...it is just heartbreaking. It's like you could reach inside the picture and hug that gorgeous baby. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you all so much. Sadie loved people...she would make up a different game to play with each person she met. I enjoy trying to imagine the games she would invent for each of you. Mind you, she made all the rules...she had such charm no one ever complained.
Blessings and comfort to you all,
Dayna

I'd like to apologize- Sadie is a stunning little sheltie. My husband's Placid was too. Thank you for sharing such beautiful memories of you little girl. With such a sweet face, I can imagine that it would be easy to comply to her game rules.

Forduffie,
No apologies necessary.Sadie was indeed a sheltie, and the first one we had ever had; we quickly fell in love with the breed. But we are big collie fans as well. My husband likes to say he was raised by a border-collie, Friskie. A name which barely does justice to the intense vibrancy and courage of borders. Friskie has been gone a long time now, but in Charles' heart her memory is ever green.
I know Duffy's memory will bring you lifelong joy...Placid's too.

Thank you for your kind words, Dayna. Yes, there is something about shepherds. They are truly wonderful.
Your baby is so beautiful. Her pictures bring a smile to my face.
Take care,
Stephanie
