Dear little Babe, and dear BabyHannah'smom,
This is a case where a tragedy at one end, is making a difference somewhere else. After hearing about Babe, I have come to realise that I CANNOT let my grief keep me from enjoying my wonderful surviving dog.
Luba was "my girl" my special dog that once in a lifetime buddy. However, there is a beautiful and gentle dog that is needing a lot of love and attention. He is so very different from Luba in personality, he is much less intense, and very laid back.
I hope that I am given a good deal of time with him still. Thanks to the Babe story I have moved on to loving Falkor that much more.
Babe is with Hannah and Luba now.

Thank you so much Steph. I am so glad that Babe did not die in vain. Just think a little bird has made so much difference and will continue to keep making a difference. How wonderful! Yes, Babe and Hannah and Luba are together, and they see all the love that we are sharing with each other and how much we miss them and are trying to take care of each other. Tragedy strikes in this world and sometimes the world seems full of mean, uncaring people. How nice that we know better.
I know you still miss Luba, as I miss Hannah and Babe. We can still cry and miss them and still appreciate and love those we still have. I must say though today as I was looking at Hannah's picture, I felt I'd give just about anything in the world to hold that little child just one more time. How much better I would feel today. I still miss her with all my heart and soul, and the little "songbird" is sorely missed too.
Thank you Steph. Bless you.
Love,
Marcia
