Hello to everybody here.
This poem came to me suddenly, this morning, and was written very quickly.
I am not in the habit of writing poems, so feel it was from Mr Kat, but think the
sentiments would hit home to a lot of people, and have decided to share it with you all.

A MESSAGE FROM THE ONE YOU'VE LOST

I know I left you broken hearted,
That fateful day, when I departed.
You felt your life had also ended,
Your broken heart could not be mended.

I saw your tears, I heard you cry,
You said I was too young to die.
You blamed yourself, now I was gone,
My death, your shoulders rested on.

I was touched, and thrilled you cared,
So much about the life we shared.
I loved you, and you loved me,
Who knew such soul mates we would be?

But now that time has slowly past,
You should be feeling calm at last.
But here you are, a crying still,
Your eyes with many tears still fill.

Come on now, get up my dear,
I'm worried now, and also fear,
You think your love for me will show,
If you grieve long, and hard and slow.

But your love for me appears,
In laughter, smiles, and not just tears.
You can't see me now, I know that's true,
But I am always there with you.

I want you to remember me,
But not if it means misery.
My heart is heavy when you're sad,
I feel much better when you're glad.

So live your life, and live it free,
Please don't mourn so constantly.
I'll do the same while were apart,
You are forever in my heart.

And when that fateful day does dawn,
When your own body, sick and worn,
Gives up on life, and your spirit soars,
You'll know I was, forever yours.

I hope this poem gives you a little bit of comfort, as it did me, (after I cried a bit)
Best regards, to you all,
Linda

Wow that was so so touching, if you don't usually write poems I would join you in thinking that Mr. Kat inspired you throughout. I've cut and pasted it in a file of poetry articles etc...that I read from time to time, when I need to. Thanks for this, it was so beautiful I cried all through it, but at the same time, it felt like my Yukon could have been reading it at the same time. Hugs, you are a beautiful person, Mr. Kat was blessed to have you.
