Thank you again Eva,
you are always so ready to give a nice comment to everyone here, I appreciate it very much
Luckily, you can't see anything on Mr Kats face in these pictures, but when I first got him, he had very little hair under his left ear, and down his face for about one inch, and the skin which showed through was very red looking. I think he was boxed about the head a lot.
I once saw him in action on top of a hapless cat which had roamed into 'his territory'. That's when I saw the boxing action, and it can get quite vicious.
We didn't let him out at night, so he stopped getting into fights, and I think he regained some hair while we had him, but it was always thin there.
I have been trying to think of the quote (below) I read not long before we lost Mr Kat, and to understand that he is in a much better place now. It makes me feel better for him, and consequently more able to deal with his passing. Every time I start to cry, I remember he was in great pain, and no matter how much I didn't want to be without him, that was a fact, and he was probably so happy to be out of pain.
So the tragedy is ours, we feel sorry for ourselves without these wonderful companions to help us deal with the world, and life as we knew it. They were such a joy to us, so much a part of our existance, and constantly in our thoughts, so when they are no longer with us, it's like losing part of ourselves, and we have to learn a new way of living life, without them in it.
