This lovely boy ( the black ), had a lovely home with some people who loved him very much. But because he has Addison's disease, the hubbub, and stress of living with two teens and a little baby was making him sick. So our vet called begging for us to come meet him and once we did we were gonners.

Looks like he is fitting right in at his new home...
They look like they enjoy the snow... sure wouldn't be to hard spotting them in the winter time

How great of you to open your home to this great companion. I am sure the the previous ones are sad to see him go but at the same time very happy to see him in a good home that will love him and take care of him like they would.

Loss creates so much sadness and darkness.........these are the stories that turn a light on and create smiles. Bless you for adding to your family.

Thanks everyone,
I was very much heartbroken for these fine people who had to give up their sweet boy. But with highest respect for the wonderful care and upbringing they gave him, I believe Amos was meant to be ours. And we feel truly blessed.

Yes you are blessed by getting Amos and so is he! I love pictures like this cause pictures can make one smile and if you can smile enough times through our personal pain.....that can be baby steps toward a type of healing.
I'll bet it'll be fun to spoil him.......at least I always had fun doing that with my dogs and cats. And, hug him a lot!
My best to you and your beautiful family!
