We just tested Ellen and Elvira for FELV/Aids and they both are negative! Ellen is up from her original 1 pound to 2.3 pounds and Elvira gained from 1.5 to 2.5 pounds in the past 4 weeks. In a couple of weeks they will both be spayed. We let the girls meet the rest of the menagerie through the baby gates for the first time. It went pretty well, with only a couple of the cats hissing a little at them. Beau wanted to play with them and was fascinated at their wrestling matches. Tonight we let th girls out by themselves into the main house for the first time. They had a great time exploring, eating, and playing. Here is Elvira on her way back into the front room for the evening.
