Diggz was such a part of my life. He was the best man at my wedding, my counselor, my best friend and my own personal clown. He lightened my life and gave me support from the day he came into it. I finally returned all his pictures I took down the day he died, because just looking at his picture hurt at first. Now, when I'm on my computer, I can look over at his goofy face and smile. He had a long life filled with love.
A couple of months ago, against my wishes, a well meaning co-worker began sending me Petfinder.com pics of Dalmatians (Diggz was a spotted love child). One piqued my interest, though really, I WAS NOT READY.
Turns out I was.
I adopted Miss Birdy B. Jones (Birdy), and she's the light of my life. Diggz would have loved her.
