Hello, everyone. It's been a very long time since I have been to this site but today I was at the beach and I started thinking about my boy Sox and how much I missed him and I realized I hadn't been here in so long so when I got home I came right here. It's nice to know this site is always here when you need it no matter how much time has passed by...I see some of my friends are still here and that is nice to see that you guys are helping others out who are going thur the same pain you did.I've spent the last hour reading posts and there are very sad ones but there are also some very promising ones.I know that I will always miss my boy Sox and it is such a comfort to know I can still come here for support when I need it.This site was an absolute godsend for me when we had to make the decision to put my baby to sleep. No where else could I have possibly found so many caring and compassionate people. It has been nearly a year since my boy went to the rainbow bridge but there is still not a day that goes by that I don't think of him and miss him so much...but it has gotten better with time. Thanks to this site I got thur that awful time and I will be forever grateful to all those people who helped me so much with their concern. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you who are suffering the loss of a beloved pet.I understand how much it hurts and my heart goes out to all of you.Sincerely,Renee (Sox's Mom Forever..)

Hi Renee!!
I hope you are okay. I remember when you first posted last year and I know how much Sox meant to you. He was truly a wonderful, one-of-a-kind love. I hope he is still communicating some way to give you comfort. I know the first year is so hard to endure; it was for me but Precious kept up with the little signs like songs on the radio, seeing butterflies and birds and having my car dive-bombed by huge dragonflies in the morning the past three months (always when I pull in my parking space at work!). They never do leave, the bond is still there and they do look out for their mums and dads that were left behind.
Sox will never, ever leave you and that is a promise!!
Have you adopted another pet? I have three cats now: Patches, a Norweigan Forest Cat (black and white and very hairy like Precious was, green eyes this time, almost six years old), Tiger/Tigger and Princey (brothers that appeared in my back yard last 09 June and are four and a half months and are black Burmese shorthairs, amber and hazel eyes respectively). I guess it was meant to be but they are a joy to have around. True, they're not Precious and they are certainly no "replacements" but they are the sweetest loves and they constantly remind me that Precious wouldn't have wanted me to be unhappy and sad and that's why they were sent! Things happen for a reason and that is very good karma!
Please take care!!

Renee (Sox's Mom)

Good to see you here. Glad to know things are better for you. I still like to think of Sox and Moose together somewhere, all dressed up and having fun. Eating what they like.

Hope Smokey is doing great! They grow so fast, don't they?

Love
AlleysMama
So good to see you here Renee. Every time I see a tuxedo cat, I think of your boy Sox and Lori's Moose.

We all have new loves in our life now, but they will never quite fill the hole left by our beloved kitties.

Hi Renee,

I'm so glad you stopped back. I've never forgotten your kind words after we lost Peaches.

I know you miss Sox. Please know that he is NOT far away, he will always be with you in your heart. He was a very special part of your life for so long. Keep thinking about the good times you had with him.

We recently adopted 2 new kitties, and they are just too cute. If you get a chance stop into the New Beginnings forum, thanks to Alley's Mom I finally got their pictures posted!

Renee, thanks again for your support when I needed it so much. This is truly a great bunch of people here at this site. When I lost Peaches, I lost a family member. A very beloved one. I can't imagine going through that without you & all the other good people here to lean on.

Please stop in again & let us know how you're doing, or just vent. We're here for you, anytime.
