Hannah was just such a tiny, soft, gentle, silky-haired little girl . . .
As I write this, the two new kids are sleeping, the puppy by my feet and the 8-year old is on the bed . . .

A tired little girl after a bath a long time ago:

I think she has a sultry look. A real glamor girl

I love to see her sweet face, she always makes me smile.
She was one in a million and that's coming from a CAT lover!

Love and congratulations to you on your new expanding family!

Ariel and Patti,

Yep, I called her my little "Beauty Queen," among about a million other nicknames I had for her.

Hannah was a Yorkie-Poo, part Yorkie and part poodle, all 7 or so pounds of her. When my brother "bought" her for me almost 16-years ago, she cost $50. Now I see they are going for about $300 - $500. That's because they are worth their weight in gold. I have had poodles and I have known some Yorkies. I think the combination of the two makes them so very sweet and, of course, so pretty and soft. Hannah had the Yorkie silky hair, just not as long as a Yorkie's.

Ariel, the contest is a good idea. I am thinking of naming him "Max." I am still open to suggestions though. I'm glad she makes you smile when you see her, Ariel.

By way of what's going on with the new kids -- the first night, I let Maggie sleep in my bed. After she woke me at 5:20 a.m., the next night I put both of them in the bathroom so I could get some sleep. They did fine. Last night, I let them choose. Maggie slept on the floor by the bed. The puppy got in the bed and he SLEEPS ON HIS BACK WITH HIS FEET IN THE AIR! A couple of times he wrapped his little head around my neck . . . He pretty much slept for almost 7 hours. I need 8, but that wasn't too bad. Maggie slept til he woke her up.

They are sweet and certainly a lot of company. I'm trying not to feel guilty . . . Hannah knows my heart though, I'm sure. It's not that I'm comparing them, it's just that I always think of her, and her picture is right here. I think she might have sort of liked to have had them around, now that I think about it -- as long as she got most of the attention, that is.

Happy 4th to you! I'm going to work in a little while. We will be "slammed" with people, but I hope we'll make some good money.

Hannah is just PRECIOUS in every way. wub.gif

Thanks again everyone. I just need to say today she was such a precious little thing, and I MISS HER SO MUCH. It was ten weeks Monday! Sometimes, I still can't believe she's gone.

I had a dream about her which posted in my reply to Anlyn's thread about seeing another black lab similar to her Jordan.

Yesterday, I took the two new ones to the vet for their checkup. I went ahead and took them to the vet who put my baby "to sleep." I wasn't sure I could handle going there, but I did it -- I didn't fall apart.

There was a man there with a tiny Yorkie named Brandy, almost 16. He was there to see if she needed to be "put to sleep" too. I talked to him and Brandy for a few minutes. He said his wife just couldn't come there. I told him about LS, and I said you'll remember the name because that's what it feels like . . . It was so sad.

I have these two little ones here, but I MISS HANNAH SO VERY MUCH -- SO MUCH. I think I've cried every day since I got these two. I don't know what it is. I keep wondering how I'll make it through the fall and then the winter without my best friend. Her birthday was July 22. She would have been 16. My little baby girl.
