Pennies from heaven

I found a penny today just lying on the ground,
But it's not just a penny, this little coin I found.

Found pennies come from Heaven, that's what my Grandpa told me.
He said, "Angels toss them down." Oh, how I loved that
story.

He said, "When an Angel misses you, they toss a penny down.
Sometimes just to cheer you up, to make a smile out of your
frown."

So, don't pass by that penny when you're feeling blue.
It may be a penny from Heaven, that your angel has tossed to you.




I myself have found pennies in some of the strangest places. It makes me smile to find these. I know my dog-angel did this to help me have a better day! Enjoy yall!

And you may well be right that it is your dog angel putting these pennies out for you!
My friend told me that she realized that she wasn't sure which year her mother was born in, 1922 or 1923 several years after her dear mom had passed away. She was wondering about that as she was gardening and she found a 1922 nickel in her garden!
This made her go through her papers to see and lo and behold, her mom's birthyear was 1922. A little sign, a little hello very likely, it made her very happy because she and her mom were very close and this was room for hope.

I LOVE THAT! I know the whole after life is a big mystery, but if I can't believe that I will see my loved ones again (human and animal) then what it is it all for? I need that hope. Call me a dreamer if you want, but I like to think that they are still watching out for us and sending little signs to let us know they are still around.

I always wondered what "Pennies From Heaven" meant.
