I thought I would today introduce my new babies. I tried this once before but I was overwhelmed with guilt. I felt I was betraying my now departed babies Abigail & Chase. I know after some searching that this could not be true. I posted a picture of "Angel and Rocket" when I first brought them together. Rocket was about the size of a bar of soap. She is now much bigger and is begining to "exert her authority". This is Rocket with Angel when we first got Rocket, She was only 6 weeks old, very tiny. Angel had only been with us about 3 months when Rocket came into our lives.

They are just beautiful! I know what you mean about the guilt, but I'm trying to accept the fact that Alley would want me to love another, just as Chase and Abigail would want you to love these two darlings.

They will never fill the hole in your heart that Chase and Abigail left, but they do take up their own little space in there. Your heart is big enough to love these guys as well as to continue loving the two you lost.

The babies are so cute John, congratulations, don't feel bad, I know I have been plagued with those feelings too....so missing a buddy in our lives but taking that next step is so hard in so many ways. Now I am nervous of the pet food issues and health issues and toxins....if its not one thing... its another, anyway you'll see our new little bundle of fur love, Auggie, Take Care and Enjoy, your heart needs some happiness.
